Approaches to the Monopole-Dynamic Dipole Vacuum Solution Concerning the Structure of its Ernst's Potential on the Symmetry Axis
The FHP algorithm allows to obtain the relativistic multipole moments of a
vacuum stationary axisymmetric solution in terms of coefficients which appear
in the expansion of its Ernst's potential on the symmetry axis. First of all,
we will use this result in order to determine, at a certain approximation
degree, the Ernst's potential on the symmetry axis of the metric whose only
multipole moments are mass and angular momentum.
By using Sibgatullin's method we analyse a series of exacts solutions with
the afore mentioned multipole characteristic. Besides, we present an
approximate solution whose Ernst's potential is introduced as a power series of
a dimensionless parameter. The calculation of its multipole moments allows us
to understand the existing differences between both approximations to the

Analytical approximation of the exterior gravitational field of rotating neutron stars
It is known that B\"acklund transformations can be used to generate
stationary axisymmetric solutions of Einstein's vacuum field equations with any
number of constants. We will use this class of exact solutions to describe the
exterior vacuum region of numerically calculated neutron stars. Therefore we
study how an Ernst potential given on the rotation axis and containing an
arbitrary number of constants can be used to determine the metric everywhere.
Then we review two methods to determine those constants from a numerically
calculated solution. Finally, we compare the metric and physical properties of
our analytic solution with the numerical data and find excellent agreement even

Exact relativistic treatment of stationary counter-rotating dust disks I: Boundary value problems and solutions
This is the first in a series of papers on the construction of explicit
solutions to the stationary axisymmetric Einstein equations which describe
counter-rotating disks of dust. These disks can serve as models for certain
galaxies and accretion disks in astrophysics. We review the Newtonian theory
for disks using Riemann-Hilbert methods which can be extended to some extent to
the relativistic case where they lead to modular functions on Riemann surfaces.
In the case of compact surfaces these are Korotkin's finite gap solutions which
we will discuss in this paper. On the axis we establish for general genus
relations between the metric functions and hence the multipoles which are
enforced by the underlying hyperelliptic Riemann surface. Generalizing these
results to the whole spacetime we are able in principle to study the classes of
boundary value problems which can be solved on a given Riemann surface. We
investigate the cases of genus 1 and 2 of the Riemann surface in detail and
construct the explicit solution for a family of disks with constant angular
velocity and constant relative energy density which was announced in a previous

Measurement of the p\bar{p}\sqrt{s}$ = 1.8 TeV
We update the measurement of the top production cross section using the CDF
detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. This measurement uses decays to
the final states +jets and +jets. We search for quarks from
decays via secondary-vertex identification or the identification of
semileptonic decays of the and cascade quarks. The background to the
production is determined primarily through a Monte Carlo simulation.
However, we calibrate the simulation and evaluate its uncertainty using several
independent data samples. For a top mass of 175 , we measure
pb and pb using
the secondary vertex and the lepton tagging algorithms, respectively. Finally,
we combine these results with those from other decay channels and

Age-related patterns of vigorous-intensity physical activity in youth:the International Children’s Accelerometry Database
Abstract Physical activity declines during youth but most evidence reports on combined moderate and vigorous-intensity physical activity. We investigated how vigorous-intensity activity varies with age. Cross-sectional data from 24,025 participants (5.0–18.0 y; from 20 studies in 10 countries obtained 2008–2010) providing ≥ 1 day accelerometer data (International Children's Accelerometry Database (ICAD)). Linear regression was used to investigate age-related patterns in vigorous-intensity activity; models included age (exposure), adjustments for monitor wear-time and study. Moderate-intensity activity was examined for comparison. Interactions were used to investigate whether the age/vigorous-activity association differed by sex, weight status, ethnicity, maternal education and region. A 6.9% (95% CI 6.2, 7.5) relative reduction in mean vigorous-intensity activity with every year of age was observed; for moderate activity the relative reduction was 6.0% (5.6%, 6.4%). The age-related decrease in vigorous-intensity activity remained after adjustment for moderate activity. A larger age-related decrease in vigorous activity was observed for girls (− 10.7%) versus boys (− 2.9%), non-white (− 12.9% to − 9.4%) versus white individuals (− 6.1%), lowest maternal education (high school (− 2.0%)) versus college/university (ns) and for overweight/obese (− 6.1%) versus healthy-weight participants (− 8.1%). In addition to larger annual decreases in vigorous-intensity activity, overweight/obese individuals, girls and North Americans had comparatively lower average vigorous-intensity activity at 5.0–5.9 y. Age-related declines in vigorous-intensity activity during youth appear relatively greater than those of moderate activity. However, due to a higher baseline, absolute moderate-intensity activity decreases more than vigorous. Overweight/obese individuals, girls, and North Americans appear especially in need of vigorous-intensity activity promotion due to low levels at 5.0–5.9 y and larger negative annual differences
Limits on Gravitino Production and New Processes with Large Missing Transverse Energy in p-pbar Collisions at sqrt(s)=1.8 TeV
Events collected by the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF) with an energetic
jet plus large missing transverse energy can be used to search for physics
beyond the Standard Model. We see no deviations from the expected background
and set upper limits on the production of new processes. We consider in
addition the production of light gravitinos within the framework of the Gauge
Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking models and set a limit at 95% confidence level
on the breaking scale sqrt(F) >= 217 GeV, which excludes gravitino masses

Search for the Supersymmetric Partner of the Top-Quark in Collisions at
We report on a search for the supersymmetric partner of the top quark (stop)
produced in events using of
collisions at recorded with the Collider Detector at
Fermilab. In the case of a light stop squark, the decay of the top quark into
stop plus the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP) could have a significant
branching ratio. The observed events are consistent with Standard Model production and decay. Hence, we set limits on the branching ratio of
the top quark decaying into stop plus LSP, excluding branching ratios above 45%
for a LSP mass up to 40 {\rm GeV/c}.Comment: 11 pages, 4 figure
