Religion Value in Novel: Ketika Cinta Bertasbih” Karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy ( Structural Genetic Approach)

This research is aimed at searching for the religious values on Habburrahman El Shirazy\u27s novel entitled Ketika Cinta Bertasbih by applying Genetic Structuralism using descriptive method and content analysis technique. The approaches used in this research were the sociology of literature and religiousness of literature. The religious values existing on this novel included as one of missionary endeavor forms, which gave valuable learning and enrich moral value. By means of his work of art, novel in this case, the author tried to present the sociological condition within his society. He also tried to deliver a missionary endeavor by using familiar language expressions, it was because the language of the novel was easily understood by the readers and the theme of the novel was closely related to the society condition. Sociological approach depicted that Ketika Cinta Bertasbih really influenced social values existed within the society, and the reverse. An author\u27s background absolutely gave great influence a novel, so did on this novel. Therefore, the social life of Habiburrahman El Shirazy had close relationship with his novel, Ketika Cinta Bertasbih

Teaching and Learning Analytical Exposition Paragraph Writing (Dictogloss Technique)

Writing is one of skills in English. It is often considered a difficult subject by the students. Some techniques are needed by the teacher to overcome writing difficulties. One of technique is Dictogloss. Furthermore, students often make mistake in writing while targeted to reconstruct the paragraph. The objective of the research was to describe the process of teaching and learning analytical exposition paragraph writing by using dictogloss technique and to construe the teacher\u27s problems and students\u27 problems in teaching and learning. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The subject of the research was the eleventh grade. The researcher applied the purposive sampling technique to determine the sample. The researcher adopted and determined one class as a sample. As well, the researcher chose class XI IPA 4 for the reason that the students of this class had difficulties in mastering writing skill. The total number of the sample was 39 students. The researcher used triangulation to collect the data, they were observation, interview, and questionnaire. From the data analysis, the researcher found the teacher who got some difficulties to handle the crowded class. Besides that, the teacher had low voice in teaching so the students did not hear clearly until behind of the class. Second, the students\u27 --in learning analytical exposition paragraph writing by using dictogloss-- had adversities in reconstructing the version of analytical exposition paragraph. That was because they had limited vocabulary, poor organization, spelling, and capitalization letters. A step form that, the students had lack motivation in learning writing

Is Peer Interaction Necessary for Optimal Active Learning? Using Minimal Pairs for Improved Students' Pronunciation Ability

In teaching and learning process in the class, there are a lot of students who find some difficulties in learning English. One of the difficulties that the students find in English learning activity is pronunciation. Pronunciation is important because it is the way someone communicate to other, express ideas, feelings, and thought in speaking form. The objective of this research is to know whether there is an Influence of Using Minimal Pairs towards Students' Pronunciation Ability. The research methodology used was quasi experimental design. In this study, we analyzed student responses on an optimized pretest and posttest administered during two different class in a english course. The researcher took two classes, one class as the experimental class and one class as the control class. In the experimental class, the researcher used Minimal Pairs and in the control class the teacher used Reading Aloud. The meetings held in three times in which 2 x 45 minutes for each class. After doing posttest, then the researcher analyzed the data using SPSS to compute t . The result is using Minimal Pairs was a significant influence towards students' pronunciation ability. It shown from Sig = 0.025 < = 0.05

This typе of rеsеаrch is еxplаnаtory rеsеаrch with аpproаch quаntitаtivе. This rеsеаrch populаtion is а wholе bаnk listеd rеspеctivеly in Indonеsiа stock еxchаngе 2013-2015 pеriod. Thе sаmplе in this rеsеаrch totаllеd 27 compаniеs obtаinеd from sаmpling purposivе mеthod. This typе of dаtа usеd is аn sеcondаry dаtа. Thе tеchniquе of dаtа collеction wаs donе with thе mеthods documеntаtion. Thе dаtа аnаlysis in this rеsеаrch is using а multiplе linеаr rеgrеssion аnаlysis. Thе rеsеаrch findings indicаtе thаt thе HCE, SCE, CEE vаriаblеs аrе simultаnеously аffеctеd on ROА. Thе findings pаrtiаlly indicаtе SCE, CEE еffеct significаntly to Rеturn On Аssеts, Whilе HCE hаs no еffеct significаnt to ROА. Nisbah Jenis Kelamin Hasil Penetasan Telur Itik Cihateup dan Alabio

Duck eggs are more difficult to hatch than chicken eggs as the duck does not incubate their eggs and the duck eggs need more time to hatch (in 28 days). This study aimed to determine the sex ratio of DOD (Day Old Duck) from two different breeds, namely cihateup from Tasikmalaya West Java and alabio from South Kalimantan. This experiment was conducted from May 2012 to July 2012 at the Hatchery Laboratory of Animal Science Faculty of IPB. 500 eggs consist of 300 alabio eggs and 200 cihateup eggs were used in this experiment. Temperature, humidity, egg weight, egg shape index, hatching weight and mortality were measured. The data of egg weight, egg shape index, and hatching weight were analyzed using t-test, the data of sex ratio DOD were analyzed using chi-square test. The result showed that there were no significant difference between egg weight and egg shape index on sex ratio. Sex ratio of male and female cihateup ducks was equal  (50%:50%), however the sex ratio of alabio ducks was different (32%:68%). Mortality rate was affected by sex of duck (P&lt;0.05). The Higher mortality was occured at early (day 0-7) and late (day&gt;25) hatching period

Analisis Kepuasan Mahasiswa terhadap Layanan Jurusan Administrasi Bisnis, Fakultas ilmu Administrasi

Penelitian ini dldasarkan pada kontribusi perguruan tinggi pada pengernbangan daya saing bangsa dapat ditingkatkan apabila organisasi pendidikan tinggi yang sehat, balk di tingkat nasional maupun perguruan tinggi dapat diwujudkan. Dengan mernberikan otonomi kepada perguruan tinggi untuk mengelola institusinya masing-masing, dlharapkan dapat dihasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas, terjadinya pengembangan dan penyebarluasan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni, tumbuhnya peran aktlf perguruan tinggi dalam proses pengembangan budaya bangsa serta terjadlnya peningkatan kualltas layanan kepada masyarakat. Berbagai institusi pendidikan mulai berbenah diri dan melakukan perubahan-perubahan demi meningkatnya kualitas institusi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Dengan mengambil sampil 50 mahasiswa Jurusan Administrasi Bisnis dengan menggunakan simple random sampling. Penelitian ini meneliti tentang Analisis Kepuasan Mahasiswa terhadap Layanan Jurusan Administrasi Bisnis, Fakulatas Ilmu Adminlstrasi. Dalam mengukur pelayanan telah diberikan oleh jurusan digunakan variabel assurance, emphatic, phisical evidence dan responsiveness. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian untuk variabel assurance adalah cenderung cukup baik. Penilaian untuk variabel emphati adalah cenderung cukup baik. Penilaian untuk variabel phisical evidence adalah telah baik Penelitian untuk variabel responsiveness adalah cenderung cukup baik. Untuk perbaikan pelayanan sebaiknya Jurusan meningkatkan reputasi, tingkah laku, efektivitas dan pemberian informasi yang cukup pada mahasiswa; pemahaman pada masalah mahasiswa dan fleksibilltas yang leblh baik; penyediaan peralatan pendukung, pemahaman pelayanan, konsistensi pada janji, dan lama pelayanan; kesedlaa:n membantu pemecahan permasalahari mahasiswa dan melalui perbaikan yang berupa peningkatan reputasl, tingkah laku, pemberian jawaban atas pertanyaan yang disampaikan oleh mahasiswa

Temperature dependence of the picosecond spin Seebeck effect

We performed temperature-dependent optical pump–THz emission measurements in Y₃Fe₅O₁₂ (YIG)|Pt from 5 K to room temperature in the presence of an externally applied magnetic field. We study the temperature dependence of the spin Seebeck effect and observe a continuous increase as temperature is decreased, opposite to what is observed in electrical measurements, where the spin Seebeck effect is suppressed as 0 K is approached. By quantitatively analyzing the different contributions, we isolate the temperature dependence of the spin-mixing conductance and observe features that are correlated with the bands of magnon spectrum in YIG

This research, using a legal study approach. The method used in writing this journal is a type of empirical legal research using the object of study of normative legal provisions (laws) with their implementation in every legal event that occurs in the community so that this research covers gaps in theory and practice in society, using a fact approach. (The Fact Approach) The Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights Number 8 of 1999 guarantees the fulfillment of consumer rights in a professional manner, by regulating the rights and obligations of the parties bound by the sale and purchase agreement, as well as regulating sanctions if the rights and obligations are not fulfilled. However, what occasionally happens is that the consumer's rights are not fully fulfilled, such as the absence of conformity of commodities with the contents of the agreement. Islam as a universal teaching, perfect values ​​and rules, provides guidelines so that consumers get protection, with the concept and value of transactions based on filar shidiq, amanah, fathanah and tabligh. Lack of guidance from the value system of the philosophy of commerce results in corrupt attitudes/behaviors that occur among producers and sellers, this can be avoided if business ethics based on Islamic business ethics can be understood and used as guidelines for electronic/digital transactions
