Предложены некоторые подходы, направленные на повышение ресурса работы алмазных карандашей. Они заключаются в стабильном обеспечении обильного охлаждения алмаза в зоне правки, предварительном нанесении на алмаз толстослойных рельефных металлических покрытий, а также использовании алмазов, изготовленных способом конденсации из газовой фазы (метод CVD).Some approaches aimed at increase in the life time of the diamond dressers are proposed. The approaches consist in stable provision with abundant cooling of diamond in dressing zone, predepositing of thick patterned metallic coatings on diamond, as well as application of diamonds produced by chemical vapor deposition (method CVD)

As a starting point, for terrorism and organized crime, we can emphasize that with the birth of human society, crimes and deviations in general have arisen, while from the moment the crimes became economic and beneficial interests both materially and in power, they made organized crime to take on greater proportions, especially since the end of this century, it has been turned into terrorist influence. In the following pages, we will mention only some of the causes and appearances of terror around the world. DOTASA revisited : 1H NMR and potentiometric studies of a highly asymmetrical ligand and its lanthanide(III) complexes

Poster apresentado no 8th FIGIPAS Meeting in Inorganic Chemistry, Atenas, Grécia, 6 - 9 Jul. 2005.DOTASA (1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclodo-decane-1-(R,S)-succinic acid-4,7,10-triacetic acid) is a DOTA-like macrocyclic ligand showing a carboxymethyl -CH2COOH substituent moiety at a C carbon of one of the four acetate pendant arms, present as a racemic mixture of R and S configurations.The protonation constants of the ligand were determined by potentiometry, giving values close to DOTA except for the extra pK3 value of 5.35 assigned to protonation of the extra carboxylate group in the succinyl arm. The 1H NMR spectra of DOTASA at different pH values are too complex to allow the determination of its microscopic protonation scheme, due to the presence of multiple isomeric structures in solution. The thermodynamic stability constant of its Gd3+ chelate was determined by a potentiometric method, and the value obtained, log KML = 27.2 (0.2), is higher than for the [Gd(DOTA)(H2O)]- complex. The solution structure of the asymmetrical Ln3+ chelates of DOTASA was studied by 1H NMR spectroscopy, indicating the presence of four isomers, corresponding to the combination of the antiprismatic (M) and twisted antiprismatic (m) helicities of the pendant arms and to the R and S configurations of the substituted pendant arm C atom. The m/M isomer ratio decreases along the lanthanide series, with the m isomer decreasing from 90% at La to about 50% from Eu-Lu. This shows that the expected m isomer population of the Gd3+ complex with DOTASA is higher than for the unsubstituted Gd3+-DOTA (~15%) but lower than for a Gd3+ chelate of a RRRR tetrasubstituted DOTA (~70%). Thus the stabilisation of the m isomer by C monosubstitution at the DOTA acetate pendant arms in [Gd(DOTASA)(H2O)]2- is responsible for its increased water exchange rate and higher relaxivity

A retrobiosynthetic approach to generate terpene-derived polymers

With an increasing global population and an enhanced awareness of the impact of human activities on our environment and climate, innovative concepts for resource efficiency are urgently needed.[1] This is especially relevant for synthetic polymers, that today are mainly generated from petroleum. In fact, at present only 1% of all man-made synthetic materials are generated from renewable resources, which is not aligned with the global vision of a circular bioeconomy. Der Kuckuck – Vogel des Jahres 2008 – im Kreis Höxter

"Den kennt doch jedes Kind!" Mit Liedern und Reimen über den Kuckuck werden Kinder groß. Ob sie den Kuckuck jemals in der Natur hören oder gar sehen werden, ist allerdings fraglich. Denn vielerorts ist der Kuckuck verschwunden, weil sein Lebensraum verloren geht - bei uns genau wie im afrikanischen Winterrevier. Außerdem ist er für die Jungenaufzucht auf Wirtsvögel angewiesen, und wenn diese seltener werden, leidet darunter auch der Kuckuck. Dabei gilt er den Menschen als Glücksbringer, es sei denn, sie haben viele Schulden und der Gerichtsvollzieher kommt mit dem "Kuckuck"-Aufkleber, den in Wirklichkeit gar kein Vogel ziert. Viele Mythen und Geschichten erzählen vom Kuckuck. Wir möchten diese Zuneigung für unser Engagement im Naturschutz nutzen, um seine Lebensräume in Deutschland und anderswo besser schützen zu können. Im großen Naturschutzgebiet Lüneburger Heide ist der Kuckuck noch überall zu hören. Auch in Mooren, großen Feuchtgebieten, Hochheiden und Flussauen ruft er vom Frühjahr bis zum Spätsommer immer noch. Wir müssen diese Lebensräume erhalten, wenn wir uns weiterhin gemeinsam am Kuckuck erfreuen wollen. Dafür brauchen wir eine breite Unterstützung und deshalb haben der NABU – Naturschutzbund Deutschland und sein bayerischer Partner LBV – Landesbund für Vogelschutz in Bayern den Kuckuck zum Vogel des Jahres 2008 gewählt

Friede, Freude, Gastarbeiter:die Haltungen der Parteien gegenüber Ausländern in den Jahren 1955–1969

Die Jahre 1955–1969 können als ruhige Zeit in der Ausländerpolitik bezeichnet werden. Das Thema war damals weder vorrangig noch kontrovers, obwohl gerade in dieser Zeit die wichtigsten Entscheidungen getroffen wurden, die den Zuzug von Ausländern nach Deutschland bestimmten. Der Aufsatz widmet sich dementsprechend zunächst den rechtlichen Grundlagen für den Zuzug von ausländischen Arbeitnehmern (zwischenstaatliche Vereinbarungen über Anwerbung und Vermittlung von ausländischen Arbeitskräften und EWG-Freizügigkeit der Arbeitnehmer). Vor diesem Hintergrund werden die ersten Reaktionen der Parteien (CDU/CSU, SPD, FDP) auf die Anwerbung, Beschäftigung und Anwesenheit der ausländischen Arbeitnehmer und die draus resultierenden Haltungen gegenüber dieser neuen Politik beschrieben. Dabei stehen die Themen der Ausländerdebatte der 50er und 60er Jahre und die Tendenzen im ausländerpolitischen Diskurs im Vordergrund
