Study of thermal properties of selected coloids

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na studium tepelných vlastností koloidních systémů, především vlastnosti emulzí (voda, olej), které mohou být využity v kosmetickém průmyslu jako základní složka různých pleťových mlék a krémů a v potravinářském průmyslu. V úvodu práce jsou nejprve definovány termofyzikální procesy (vedení, proudění a záření) a metody měření teploty (stacionární, tranzientní). Dále jsou definovány termofyzikální parametry (tepelná a teplotní vodivost, tepelná kapacita), které budou stanovovány pomocí transientních metod. Naměřená data byla sbírána a analyzována pomocí programu EMA (Electrical Measurement Analyser) a programu HarFA (Harmonic and Fractal Image Analyser). Získané výsledky budou využity pro stanovení optimálních podmínek při výrobě kosmetických přípravků a potravinových doplňků.The bachelor thesis is focused on the study of the thermal properties of colloidal systems, especially the properties of emulsions (water, oil), which can be used in the cosmetic industry as an essential component of various lotions and creams and in the food industry. In the introduction the first defined thermo-physical processes (conduction, convection and radiation) and temperature measurement (stationary, transient). Furthermore defined physical parameters (heat and thermal conductivity, heat capacity), that are determined using transient methods. The measured data were collected and analyzed by using the EMA (Electrical Measurement Analyser) and the HarFA (Harmonic and Fractal Image Analyser). The results will be used to determine the optimum conditions for the production of cosmetics and dietary supplements.

Proposal to Expand Marketing Activities With Emphasis on the Internet Marketing

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou marketingových aktivit ve vybrané společnosti. Na základě teoretických východisek a komplexní analýzy vybrané společnosti jsou pak v praktické části navrženy změny a doporučení, které mají vést k budování značky a ke zlepšení situace společnosti na trhu a k získání nových zákazníků. V praktické části je také návrh marketingové kampaně s využitím moderních marketingových nástrojů.This thesis deals with the issue of marketing activities within the selected company. In the practical part there are suggestions and recommendations made on the basis of theoretical grounds and complex analysis. They are supposed to lead to brand building, improving the situation on the market and to attracting customers. In the practical part there is also a marketing campaign plan using modern marketing tools.

Import 29/09/2010V předložené práci je zpracován popis vývoje a využívání informačních a komunikačních technologií a systémů v českém soudnictví. V první části jsou vysvětleny druhy soudních řízení, je charakterizován jejich procesní popis a oběh dokumentů v soudnictví. Druhá část obsahuje přehled informačních systémů v současné české justici. Následně je začleněn podrobnější popis informačního systému pro okresní soudy včetně popisu stávajících možností komunikace s okolními systémy využívanými v soudnictví. Další část je věnována elektronickému spisu a používaných technologiím pro vstupní zpracování dokumentů. V další části je zařazen přehled stávající integrace soudních systémů s ostatními systémy a v závěru práce je obsažen popis možného vývoje informačních technologií v českém soudnictví.In the present work is elaborated description of the use of information and communication technologies and systems in the Czech judiciary. The first section explains the types of court proceedings, is characterized by the procedural description and distribution of documents in the judiciary. The second part contains an overview of current information systems in the Czech judiciary. Subsequently incorporated more detailed description of an information system for district courts, including a description of the existing possibilities of communication with surrounding systems used by the judiciary. Another section is devoted to e-file and technologies used for processing the input document. The Health-Enabling Capacities of Nature Contact

However, at the same time, contact with the natural environment is shrinking. More than half of the world's population lives in urban areas with high population densities and, in many cases, with a little or no access to the quality green spaces. One of the consequences is that there is an increasing disconnection from nature and its sensory stimuli while the noise, air and visual pollution negatively affects the health and reduces the quality of life in urban areas. The "healing" capacity of nature is being increasingly discussed as well as the need of reconnection with it and its therapeutic, spiritual and psychological benefits. The garden therapy defined as a treatment and relaxation through contact with nature is attracting more and more attention, both, from academic field as well as from practitioners of different areas. Among others, a social care and health care, particularly in the case of the children with autism, hyperactivity, with lack of relational capital, psychiatrists (in the case of dementia) but also an architectural landscaping (Which characteristics must the gardens have to fulfill these benefits?). An interdisciplinary approach is needed in order to discuss concepts, benefits, potentialities and ways to implement these therapies. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rozvojem komunikačního mixu společnosti působící na B2B trhu. Teoretická část vysvětluje důležité pojmy, které souvisejí s touto problematikou. Především se jedná o komunikační mix na B2B trhu. Druhou částí je část analytická, kde je podrobně popsána zkoumaná společnost, její současný stav, jednotlivé analýzy a jednotlivé nástroje komunikačního mixu. Na základě zjištěných poznatků jsou navrženy změny, které vedou ke zlepšení jednotlivých nástrojů a tím i posílení postavení na trhu, zvýšení povědomí o společnosti a získání více zákazníků.This thesis explores the development of the communication mix in the company operating in the B2B market. The theoretical part explains important concepts related to this topic, mainly in the terms of communication mix in the B2B market. The second part of the thesis is dedicated to analysis, where is described information of the researched company, its current state, and individual analyses of each features of the communication mix. Based on the findings, there are proposed changes that lead to improvement of individual features of communication mix and thereby strengthening market position, increasing awareness and gaining more customers for the researched company.

Design of the manufacturing process for the "overflow valve" component in several variants

Bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem výrobního procesu pro strojní součást přepouštěcí ventil. Obsahuje konstrukční rozbor, výběr materiálu, porovnává vybrané způsoby výroby, jako jsou odlévání, frézování a řezání laserem, a jejich finanční náročnost. V práci je též popsána funkce výrobku v sestavě základní ventil.The bachelor thesis deals with the design of the manufacturing process for the mechanical component of the owerflow valve. It includes structural analysis, material selection, compares selected manufacturing methods such as casting, milling and laser cutting, and their cost-effectiveness. The thesis also describes the function of the product in the base valve assembly.

Study of thermal properties of phase change materials

Diplomová práce se zabývá studiem tepelných vlastností materiálů akumulující teplo na bázi fázové přeměny. Cílem této práce bylo proměřit tepelné vlastnosti materiálů využívající k akumulaci tepla fázovou přeměnu, a to především komerčního materiálu od firmy Phase Change Material Products Ltd pod názvem PlusICE A118. Takové materiály se označují jako PCM (z angl. Phase Change Material) a využívají se například jako tepelné akumulátory (izolanty) ve stavebnictví. Nejprve byly popsány fázové přeměny látek obecně, poté byla definována akumulace tepelné energie. Dále byly popsány metody určování teploty (termická analýza, stacionární a transietní metody). V neposlední řadě byly definovány termofyzikální veličiny (tepelná kapacita, tepelná vodivost, teplotní vodivost), které byly stanovovány transientní skokovou metodou.The diploma thesis studies the thermal properties of materials, heat storage based on phase transformation. The aim of this study was to measure the thermal properties of materials using a heat accumulation phase transformation, particularly a commercial material available from the Phase Change Material Products Ltd. under the name PlusICE A118. Such materials are referred to as PCM (from Eng. Phase Change Material), and are used for instance as heat insulators in construction. First described the phase transformation of substances in general, then was defined accumulation of thermal energy. We have also described methods for determining the temperature (thermal analysis, stationary and transietní methods). Finally defined thermophysical parameters (thermal capacity, thermal conductivity, thermal conductivity), which were determined transient step method.

The Project Selected Leisure Time Activities for Children

Předmětem práce byl návrh volnočasových aktivit pro děti ve věku 14-16 let pod Centrem Sportovních Aktivit Vysokého učení Technického v Brně (CESA VUT). Tři sportovní kurzy - tenisový, atletický a míčových her, byly navrženy včetně obsahu a propagace. Cena těchto kurzů byla určena pomocí analýzy nákladů a analýzy konkurenčního prostředí podobných sportovních aktivit v Brně.Aim of the thesis was to design leisure time activities for 6-14 years old children under Centre for Sport Activities, Brno University of Technology (CESA VUT). Three sport courses – tennis, athletics and ball games were suggested and thein content as well as propagation outlined. Membership fee was calculated using cost analysis together with analysis of competive environment in similar sport activities in Brno.

The effect of voluntary hypoventilation on physical performance and selected parameters of physiological function in athletes - a systematic review

Title: The effect of voluntary hypoventilation on physical performance and selected parameters of physiological function in athletes - a systematic review Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to summarize the results of selected studies dealing with voluntary hypoventilation technique and from the obtained data determine the possibility and extent of using this technique to improve sports performance. Methods: The bachelor thesis was conducted in the form of a systematic review, according to the recommendations of the PRISMA statement. Relevant scientific articles and studies were retrieved using four internet databases, namely Web of Science, Pub Med, Scopus and EBSCOhost, followed by literature research of the retrieved publications. Results: A total of 129 potential studies were retrieved from which 16 relevant publications were selected and included in the systematic review. In all cases, these were cohort studies, seven of them focused on investigating the acute response of hypoventilation training and nine on its long-term effect. Together, these studies collected data from 270 actively exercising probands.
