Sistema diédrico. Técnicas educativas con ayuda 3D en el espacio real y su simulación en el espacio virutual

Hay una importante oferta de software educativo con gran variedad en sus características formales y metodológicas; pero a pesar de esta potencialidad se pueden desaprovechar sus posibilidades pedagógicas si, ante esta diversidad, no se selecciona, no se configura o no se aplica, adecuadamente. Se ha realizado un estudio contrastado de distintas técnicas didácticas con diferentes muestras de alumnos, en donde se han utilizado espacios tridimensionales reales y tangibles, con un material didáctico especialmente diseñado para la enseñanza del sistema diédrico. Se han seleccionado sus cualidades más relevantes, vistos los resultados obtenidos, para ofrecer modelos en el diseño, la configuración o la elección del software.There is an important offer of educational software with great variety in its formal and methodological characteristics; but in spite of this potential, its pedagogic possibilities can be wasted if, in the face of this diversity, they are not selected, not configured, or not applied, appropriately. A study has been carried out contrasting the different didactics techniques with different samples of students, wherein real and tangible three-dimensional spaces have been used with a specially designed didactic material for the teaching of the European diedric system. Its most relevant qualities have been selected based on the obtained result to offer models in its design and the configuration or election of the software

Teaching of the Conical Perspective. Method in the Real Space, and their Simulation in the Virtual Space

Para la enseñanza de la perspectiva, los autores utilizan materiales y métodos didácticos usando maquetas reales y tangibles con rendimientos muy satisfactorios, pero conllevan determinadas dificultades de tipo físico y operativo. Se ha confeccionado un software infográfico con el objetivo de emular en 3D virtual los materiales utilizados en el espacio real, aprovechando las características de la imagen digital. Con este material se ha realizado un estudio comparativo entre ambos métodos (en el espacio real y en el 3D virtual) participando alumnos de segundo ciclo de Bellas Artes en el que se han obtenido interesantes datos para el desarrollo y utilización de estos materiales en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.In order to teach perspective in a Fine Arts degree, the authors use materials and didactic methods which include real and tangible models with very satisfactory yields, but they bear certain physical and operative problem. Digital graphic software has been developed in order to model materials in 3D before being used in the real space, taking advantage of the characteristics of the digital image. A comparative study with graduate students of Fine Arts has been made between the two methods (in the real space and in the 3D virtual) where interesting data have been obtained on the usage and development of virtual modelling

Dentro del amplio catálogo de los festejos barrocos de la Edad Moderna, uno de los menos estudiados es el que afecta a rogativas por la recuperación de la salud de un monarca enfermo, o festejos por haberse confirmado su recuperación. En 1687, la ciudad de Roma, verdadero teatro del mundo católico, vivirá unas imponentes celebraciones por la recuperación de la salud del monarca francés Luis XIV, que implicarán a los principales personajes de la legación francesa en la capital papal –el cardenal d’Estrées y el abad Elpidio Benedetti– y los grandes espacios vinculados al festejo de la monarquía gala, San Luis de los Franceses, la Villa Benedetta, el Palacio Mancini y el entorno de la iglesia de la Trinità dei Monti, que vivirán un verdadero apogeo solar, festejando al monarca en la ciudad donde todas las cortes europeas tenían presencia.Within the wide range of baroque celebrations of modern times, one of the least studied is that one aff ecting the prayers for the recovery of the health of a sick monarch, or celebrations once it was confi rmed. Negative modulation of the GABAAρ1 receptor function by l-cysteine

l-Cysteine is an endogenous sulfur-containing amino acid with multiple and varied roles in the central nervous system, including neuroprotection and the maintenance of the redox balance. However, it was also suggested as an excitotoxic agent implicated in the pathogenesis of neurological disorders such as Parkinson′s and Alzheimer′s disease. l-Cysteine can modulate the activity of ionic channels, including voltage-gated calcium channels and glutamatergic NMDA receptors, whereas its effects on GABAergic neurotransmission had not been studied before. In the present work, we analyzed the effects of l-cysteine on responses mediated by homomeric GABAAρ1 receptors, which are known for mediating tonic γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) responses in retinal neurons. GABAAρ1 receptors were expressed in Xenopus laevis oocytes and GABA-evoked chloride currents recorded by two-electrode voltage-clamp in the presence or absence of l-cysteine. l-Cysteine antagonized GABAAρ1 receptor-mediated responses; inhibition was dose-dependent, reversible, voltage independent, and susceptible to GABA concentration. Concentration-response curves for GABA were shifted to the right in the presence of l-cysteine without a substantial change in the maximal response. l-Cysteine inhibition was insensitive to chemical protection of the sulfhydryl groups of the ρ1 subunits by the irreversible alkylating agent N-ethyl maleimide. Our results suggest that redox modulation is not involved during l-cysteine actions and that l-cysteine might be acting as a competitive antagonist of the GABAAρ1 receptors. Análisis de los beneficios tributarios y el impuesto al patrimonio en la ley 1111 de 2006, frente a los principios de equidad, progresividad y eficiencia.

La historia de la tributación en Colombia en los últimos años se ha caracterizado por un sistema tributario ineficiente y poco equitativo. La reforma tributaria del año 2006, continua con la misma tendencia tributaria de años anteriores y además, crea una serie de beneficios y exenciones tributarias que están en contra de los principios constitucionales de Equidad, Progresividad y Eficiencia. Respecto al impuesto de renta, crea nuevas tarifas, descuentos y beneficios tributarios que generan un impuesto ineficiente en términos de control y de recaudo. Por otro lado, los beneficios dirigidos a sectores económicos en específico y a los contribuyentes más ricos del país, están en contra de un sistema tributario equitativo y progresivo. Finalmente, la extensión del impuesto al patrimonio, se considera como un impuesto ineficiente ya que es un impuesto transitorio que se ha vuelto permanente y costoso para el país. Se observa entonces, un carácter inequitativo, regresivo e ineficiente de la ley 1111 de 2006, soportado en la evidencia de los beneficios y descuentos tributarios otorgados a grandes capitales y la extensión del Impuesto al Patrimonio.The recent history of taxes in Colombia has been characterized by an inefficient and inequitable tax system. The tax reform of 2006 continues to have the same trend of previous years and also creates a number of benefits and tax exemption that are against the constitutional principles of Equity, Efficiency and Progressiveness. In first place, the new income tax considers new rates, discounts and tax benefits that generate inefficiencies in terms of control and collection. In second place, the benefits focused on specific economic sectors and the country's wealthiest taxpayers are in opposition to a fair and progressive tax system. Finally, the extension of the wealth tax is considered as inefficient since it was created as a temporary tax, but now is becoming permanent and costly for the country

Energy Level Alignment in Organic-Organic Heterojunctions: The TTF-TCNQ Interface

The energy level alignment of the two organic materials forming the TTF-TCNQ interface is analyzed by means of a local orbital DFT calculation, including an appropriate correction for the transport energy gaps associated with both materials. These energy gaps are determined by a combination of some experimental data and the results of our calculations for the difference between the TTF_{HOMO} and the TCNQ_{LUMO} levels. We find that the interface is metallic, as predicted by recent experiments, due to the overlap (and charge transfer) between the Density of States corresponding to these two levels, indicating that the main mechanism controlling the TTF-TCNQ energy level alignment is the charge transfer between the two materials. We find an induced interface dipole of 0.7 eV in good agreement with the experimental evidence. We have also analyzed the electronic properties of the TTF-TCNQ interface as a function of an external bias voltage \Delta, between the TCNQ and TTF crystals, finding a transition between metallic and insulator behavior for \Delta~0.5 eV

Videojuegos activos, videojuegos convencionales y actividad física en adolescentes de secundaria

Resumen basado en el de la publicaciónSe analiza el tiempo dedicado por una muestra de 570 adolescentes de secundaria a los videojuegos activos, los videojuegos convencionales y la práctica de actividad física de intensidad moderada-vigorosa. Las pruebas t para muestras independientes realizadas indicaron que los chicos dedican más tiempo que las chicas a la práctica de actividad física y al uso de videojuegos convencionales y activos. Los análisis de correlación lineal simple efectuados señalaron que en las chicas estas conductas no presentan relación alguna, mientras que en el grupo de chicos, los que más juegan a videojuegos activos son aquellos que más juegan a videojuegos convencionales y más tiempo dedican a la actividad física. Estos datos añaden una información interesante a la línea de investigación que estudia las relaciones entre el uso de medios tecnológicos y los estilos de vida activo y sedentario.AndalucíaES

El dragón ha sido representado en ambas culturas y su figura se ha mantenido con el paso de los años, llegando a ser un elemento imprescindible en muchas celebraciones civiles y religiosas.
