Convergence and Regulatory Issues in Information and Communication Technology Industry of Pakistan

The aim of this short review is to highlight the importance and challenges coming from the convergence of technology, especially in information and telecommunication sectors. This review will shed light on the current regulatory framework and technology convergence. Technology convergence has challenged the regulatory structure across the globe by offering tremendous services and opportunities for the development of the technological sector. MENTAL TOUGHNESS AND ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE: A GENDER ANALYSIS OF CORPORATE CRICKET PLAYERS IN PAKISTAN

The present study aimed to explore the relationship of Mental Toughness and Athletic Performance of corporate cricket players of Pakistan on gender bases. Stratified random sampling method (Proportional) was used and 176 corporate cricket players were recruited, including males N1(123) and females N2 (53) (Age 14-43, M= 26.65, SD=5.031). Sample comprised 38.63 % Batsmen, 25% Fast Bowlers, 2.84% Spin bowlers, 27.84% All-rounders and 5.68% Wicket keepers /batsmen. Survey was held and Mental Toughness Inventory (MTI) (Task familiarity, self-efficacy, Future potential, Mental self-Concept and Coach Athlete Rating of Athletic Performance(Level of Aggressiveness, fitness, Concentration, Strength, Motivation, Quickness, Team Cohesion) was used to collect the data. Data was analyzed through SPSS 2.0.Findings of the study suggested a positive correlation (.359**) between Mental Toughness and Athletic Performance. However, male cricket players were found significantly higher than female cricket players in mental toughness and athletic performance while playing at the national level. On the basis of the result study concluded that Mental Toughness is directly proportional to Athlete Performance in corporate cricket players of Pakistan and male cricket players were found significantly higher in mental toughness attributes such as task familiarity, self-efficacy, Future potential, Mental self-Concept

Some New Fuzzy Fixed Point Results with Applications

The aim of this article is to establish some fixed point results for fuzzy mappings and derive some corresponding multivalued mappings results of literature. For this purpose, we define some new and generalized contractions in the setting of b-metric spaces. Barriers to the provision of asthma services and perceived practice towards asthma management among urban community pharmacists in Selangor, Malaysia

This study aims to assess the perceived practice and barriers towards the provision of asthma management services among urban community pharmacists in Selangor, Malaysia. The study also highlights both pharmacist and patient-related barriers in asthma counseling. One hundred fifty urban community pharmacists in Selangor, Malaysia, were randomly selected and recruited for the present cross sectional baseline study. Previous studies have explored pharmacists’ perception on their roles in asthma management in different parts of the world. The data was collected through self-explanatory questionnaires (containing 47 items). The extracted data from the completed questionnaires were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 19. Results showed that pharmacists perceived their roles in asthma management along three major dimensions: ‘patient self-management’, ‘medication use’ and ‘asthma control’, mean (±SD) score of the perception towards asthma management was 99.29 ± 4.58 over a maximum possible score of 110 with 90.26%. There were significant differences between the pharmacy education level and perceived practice of asthma management while there were insignificant differences between age, gender, ethnicity, number of practicing year and perceived practice of asthma management among respondents. Most common barriers towards asthma counselling including lack of time, lack of asthma knowledge, lack of counselling space and cost of asthma drugs. Conclusively, urban community pharmacists in Selangor, Malaysia, demonstrate good perceived practice of better management of asthma with multidimensional dimensional role against in disease care

Fixed point results with applications to nonlinear fractional differential equations

The aim of this paper is to define a Berinde type ($\rho$, $\mu$)-$\vartheta$ contraction and establish some fixed point results for self mappings in the setting of complete metric spaces. We derive new fixed point results, which extend and improve some results in the literature. We also supply a non trivial example to support the obtained results. Finally, we investigate the existence of solutions for the nonlinear fractional differential equation

On fixed point results in F-metric spaces with applications

The aim of this research article is to define locally rational contractions concerning control functions of one variable in the background of $\mathcal{F}$-metric spaces and establish common fixed point results. We also introduce ($\alpha ^{\ast }$-$\psi)$-contractions and generalized ($\alpha ^{\ast }$, $\psi, \delta _{\mathcal{F}})$-contractions in $\mathcal{F}$-metric spaces and obtain fixed points of multifunctions.
