    THE ROLE OF SHARIA FINANCIAL INSTITUTION TO EMPOWERING SMEs

    This study aims to determine the efforts of Islamic Financial Institutions in empowering SMEs, strategies and important roles carried out by LKS in order to empower SMEs through the provision of capital to be managed in business. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method, a method that only describes various forms of paradigms about empowerment strategies for SMEs, the most important data sources in this study are related to the search for library data, relevant books, and scientific papers. others relevant to the object of study. The results of this study indicate that there has been much power and effort carried out by the Islamic Finance Agency in order to empower SMEs, this can be proven by the existence of several programs, products, and financing aimed directly at SMEs. The strategy used is; provide complete information as well as promotion to SMEs, provide financing for their business development, provide financing in accordance with the type of business that SMEs are involved in with the concept of sharia principles. The implication of this research is to continue to provide services professionally and provide the best so that they are truly able to provide community welfare, more selective in providing financing so as to minimize the losses that will occur, increase technological resources so that SMEs can easily access information

    This study aims to mitigate culture, accounting practices for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by the Financial Accounting Standards Entities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SAK EMKM) and internalize the values embodied in the concept of assitinajang na getteng to adjust SAK EMKM with entity perpetrator needs of micro, small, and medium enterprises. This research was conducted in Sinar Jaya Palia who still have a background in accounting is still minimal and not lead to the availability of current technology. The method used in this study is qualitative, ethnographic approach with interpretive paradigm. The results of this study Sinar Jaya Palia showed that there a variety of challenges and obstacles that still plagues the development of SMEs in accounting practices. The importance of the financial statements for SMEs as it will affect the sustainability of its business and can predict the extent to which the business can grow. The study also internalizes collaborative philosophy items, namely Bugis assitinajang na getteng in the sense that the SMEs shall cling to the rules of financial administration (SAK EMKM) and align the needs and obligations. The collaboration culture as a measure to mitigate the accounting practices of SMEs is Considered still not in line with the rules of financial administration. Barriers to this study are the lack of knowledge of SMEs in the existence of accounting and the use of technology that is still untapped

    The Effect of Healthcare Infection Control Application Committee in Patients Using Urine Cateters on Cost Containtment

    The high prevalence of HAIs (Healthcare-associated Infections) is a threat to hospital services. Implementation of infection prevention and control is the biggest challenge in the arrangement of health services, especially in hospitals. HICPAC is one of the CDC guidelines that is quite recommended in reducing the incidence of infections in hospitals. This study aims to assess the effect of implementing HICPAC with a reduction in hospital costs in patients using a urine catheter at Delia Hospital in Langkat District in 2019. The type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach conducted at Delia General Hospital in Langkat District with a population of 30 patients and analyzed using Paired T Test analysis. The analysis found that there were differences in treatment costs based on secondary diagnoses before and after the HICPAC guidelines were applied. This shows that the HICPAC guidelines can significantly reduce the cost of care for patients who use urine catheters at Delia Hospital in Langkat District. So it is recommended that the HICPAC guidelines can be used integrated with the medical record so that it is easily implemented by all medical personnel in the hospital

    Measure of academic services is crucial in finding out the quality of service in every level of education. The objective of this study is providing an overview of academic service quality by using importance performance analysis (IPA). Thirty respondents involved in this study are students of Muhammadiyah Secondary School around South Sulawesi, Indonesia to assure the respondents' homogeneous. This study reveals that the academic services such as the availability of resources, the syllabus dissemination, teacher discipline, monitoring of students, and sharing information are still relatively low. This study exposes that the academic service, which makes students experiencing pleased is the principal who provides available time for parents to solve students' problem together with counselor. In addition, this study also finds that level of expectation is less important in affecting the students' satisfaction on academic service

    Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah Apakah pembelajaran Metode Numbered Head Together dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Pada Pelajaran PKn Di Kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Ogotua. Alternatif pemecahan masalah adalah pemanfaatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Numbered Head Together. Penelitian ini dilakukan bersiklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Ogotua yang berjumlah 35 orang yang terdiri dari 14 siswa lakilaki dan 21 siswa perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar aktivitas siswa dan guru (observasi), tes hasil tindakan, wawancara. Tes hasil tindakan siklus I diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal Hal ini terlihat pada peningkatan persentase ketuntasan klasikal yang meningkat tiap siklus yaitu siklus I 68,57%, siklus II 100%. Begitu pula persentase daya serap individu siswa, siklus I pertemuan pertama 68,14%, pertemuan kedua 72,00% dan siklus II 77,57%. Berdasarkan indikator kinerja, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Together yang dilakukan dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Ogotua

    Oral Cancer Awareness and its Determinants among a Selected Malaysian Population

    Objective: To assess oral cancer awareness, its associated factors and related sources of information among a selected group of Malaysians. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted on all Malaysian ethnic groups aged >= 15 years old at eight strategically chosen shopping malls within a two week time period. Data were analysed using chi-square tests and multiple logistic regression. Significance level was set at alpha<0.05. Results: Most (84.2%) respondents had heard of oral cancer. Smoking was the most (92.4%) recognized high risk habit. Similar levels of awareness were seen for unhealed ulcers (57.3%) and red/white patches (58.0%) as signs of oral cancer. Age, gender, ethnicity, marital status, education, occupation and income were significantly associated with oral cancer awareness (p<0.05). Conclusions: There was a general lack of awareness regarding the risk habits, early signs and symptoms, and the benefits of detecting this disease at an early stage. Mass media and health campaigns were the main sources of information about oral cancer.
