    Antioxidant and alpha-amylase inhibitory study of Sansevieria trifasciata Prain. leaves extract

    Diabetes is one of the chronic diseases whose prevalence is increasing all over the world, including in Indonesia. Diabetes mellitus is characterized by high blood glucose levels that can be overcome by, for instance, inhibiting the alpha-amylase enzymes that play a role in carbohydrate hydrolysis. Several studies have proved that active antioxidant substances can also support the treatment of diabetic patients. Snake plant (Sansevieria trifasciata Prain.), or locally known as lidah mertua in Indonesia, is a traditional herbal used to treat diabetes. This study investigated the activity of the ethanol extract of S. trifasciata leaves in inhibiting α-amylase. The leaves were extracted by maceration with ethanol 70%, followed by phytochemical screening. The antioxidant activity was determined using the DPPH method, while the inhibition of α-amylase was measured using UV-Vis spectrophotometer at 524nm wavelength. The results showed that IC50 of the antioxidant activity was 1527.55 ppm, five times greater than the positive control, i.e., vitamin C. In the case of α-amylase enzyme, the IC50 of the ethanol extract of S. trifasciata leaves was 158.31 μg/ml and 0.26 times more potential than acarbose. The study has proved that the crude extract of S. trifasciata leaves has the potential as one of the antidiabetics and antioxidants that can be studied further.

    Pembelajaran Kooperatif dengan Strategi Giving Question and Getting Answer Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas VII2 SMPN 21 Pekanbaru

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi Giving Question and Getting Answer. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII2 SMPN 21 Pekanbaru tahun ajaran 2019/2020 sebanyak 35 siswa yang terdiri dari 18 siswa laki-laki dan 17 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik pengamatan dan teknik tes. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan terhadap proses pembelajaran dapat diketahui bahwa aktivitas guru dan siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Proses pembelajaran pada siklus II lebih baik dari pada siklus I dan sebelum tindakan. Hal ini dikarenakan pada setiap pertemuan aktivitas guru dan siswa sudah terlaksana secara keseluruhan. Sedangkan berdasarkan tes yang dilakukan melalui ulangan harian I dan ulangan harian II menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mencapai KKM dari skor dasar, ulangan harian I dan ulangan harian II. Siswa yangmencapai KKM pada skor dasar sebanyak 18 siswa (51,43%) dengan rata-rata kelas 67, ulangan harian I sebanyak 22 siswa (62,86%) dengan rata-rata kelas 72,51 dan ulangan harian II sebanyak 27 siswa (77,14%) dengan rata-rata kelas 80,4. Melalui data-data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi Giving Question and Getting Answer dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII2 SMPN 21 Pekanbaru

    Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Menggunakan Model Problem Posing Berorientasi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis

    This study aims to describe the level of validity of mathematics learning tools using the Problem Posing model oriented to mathematical problem solving abilities on statistics which has been tested valid. The development model in this study uses the Plomp model which has three stage, namely the Preliminary Research Phase, the Prototype Phase, the Assessment Phase. The data collection techniques used were  the validation of learning tools. The data collection instrument used was a validation sheet. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statiscal analysis technique. The result of the research validation analysis by three validators obtained an average validation every RPP of each validator was 100% for aspect of indicator one as measured by guttman scale of which are very valid criteria  and 80,36% for aspect of indicator two to seven as measured by likert scale of which are valid criteria, and for the average validation every LKPD of each validator was 93,33% for aspect of indicator one as measured by guttman scale of which are very valid criteria and 75% aspect of indicator two to three as measured by likert scale of which are valid criteria. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the development of learning tools using the Problem Posing  model oriented to the mathematical problem solving abilities has been tested for its validity.Keywords: LKPD, RPP, Problem Posin

      Penguatan pembentukan karakter di zaman sekarang menjadi hal yang penting mengingat zaman sekarang menunjukkan munculnya krisis moral di kalangan anak-anak, remaja dan orangtua. Oleh karena itu, penguatan pendidikan karakter yang perlu di kembangkan adalah disiplin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses penguatan karakter disiplin dalam pembelajaran dan tanggung jawab pada siswa sekolah dasar melalui penegakan peraturan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif.  Penelitian ini memusatkan perhatiannya pada penguatan karakter peserta didik yang dikaji dengan observasi dan wawancara di SDN Malaka Sari 02, Jakarta, serta menggunakan beberapa sumber kepustakaan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan bagaimana proses implementasi penguatan karakter disiplin dan tanggungjawab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dan memiliki kesadaran yang utuh terhadap tanggung jawabnya menjadi pelajar. Sekolah berhasil menanamkan nilai kedisiplinan dan memperkuat rasa tanggung jawab peserta didik melalui penegakan peraturan, meskipun membutuhkan waktu yang tidak sebentar tetapi guru dan yang lainnya memahami dan menghargai proses yang berjala

    The use of technology in education has a significant impact in educating and educating the nation's life, and can help create new innovations. One of the innovations created is the emergence of the concept of electronic learning (e-learning). E-learning is useful for students and teachers to get learning materials easily, one of which is by using e-module teaching materials. This study aims to determine the process and produce a product in the form of an e-module of teaching materials assisted by algebrator software on the material of rank numbers and root forms for class X SMK. This type of research is development using ADDIE floating model. The instrument used in this study is a non-test instrument, namely a validation questionnaire, and the data obtained from a validation questionnaire that has been filled out by the validator. The data will be analyzed descriptively quantitatively.     ABSTRAK Kampus Mengajar adalah kegiatan mengajar di sekolah yang merupakan bagian dari program Kampus Merdeka dan dilakukan dalam kurun waktu kurang lebih 5 bulan. Tujuan dari Kampus Mengajar adalah membantu pembelajaran di masa pandemi terutama untuk anak tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) di daerah 3T dengan menghadirkan mahasiswa sebagai bagian dari penguatan pembelajaran literasi dan numerisasi sehingga mahasiswa menjadi partner guru dalam melakukan kreativitas dan inovasi dalam pembelajaran. Dalam kegiatan ini, mahasiswa membantu guru dalam proses mengajar, adaptasi teknologi dan membantu administrasi sekolah maupun guru. Dan berdasarkan hasil pengalaman, penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa program ini sangat membantu guru-guru atau sekolah, bermanfaat bagi siswa dan bermanfaat juga bagi mahasiswa.     The purpose of the study is to know how the implementation strategies in SDN Bubutan IV Surabaya. The descriptive qualitative method is used in this analysis. The collecting data technique is using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The data validity test is using source triangulation. The result of the study showed that the school literacy movement strategies are already successful with (1) conditioned physical environment with mini-libraries in each classroom and student artworks around school areas, (2) conditioned the social environment as an effective model by giving rewards toward students, there is also an activity to celebrate a national holiday that integrated with literacy learning, and (3) conditioned the academic environment with an accustomed student to read 15 minutes, the existence of school literacy team and having a library with proper facilities.&nbsp

    Pendampingan Penyusunan Modul Ajar Beserta Pengurusan HKI

    Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan bagaimana cara membuat modul ajar dan bagaimana pengurusan HKI terhadap produk yang dimiliki kepada guru-guru SMP N 37 Pekanbaru. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan guru-guru mampu membuat modul ajar sendiri selanjutnya melakukan pengurusan HKI terhadap modul yang telah dibuat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 37 Kota Pekanbaru, dengan pesertanya adalah seluruh guru yang mengajar di lingkunagn SMP Negeri 37 kota Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 38 orang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada tanggal 27 juli 2022 – 09 agustus 2022 secara Hybrid (Daring dan Luring). Materi dalam kegiatan ini tentang cakupan bagaimana cara membuat modul ajar yang baik dan bagaimana proses dalam pengurusan HKI. Kegiatan ini sangat memiliki banyak manfaat kepada guru-guru di SMP Negeri 37, yaitu salah satunya adalah guru-guru mampu mengembangkan kemampuannya dalam membuat modul ajar sendiri tanpa menggunakan modul ajar milik orang lain. Setelah menyelesaikan modul ajar tersebut, guru-guru melakukan pengurusan HKI terhadap modul ajarnya
