Implementation of the Medan City Outer Ring Area Development Acceleration Program (Study in Medan Marelan District)

The acceleration of development in the outer ring area of ​​Medan is carried out by the Medan City Government in order to distribute development throughout the Medan area, one of which is the Medan Marelan District. In its Development Plan, the City of Medan carries out an Accelerated Development Program which does not only focus on development in the urban center area but also accelerates development in the outer ring area/outer part of Medan. This is done for the even distribution of Medan City Development, both in the Social, Economic, Political, and Cultural fields. This research method is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The location of this research is Medan Marelan District, Medan. The informants in this study consisted of key informants, namely the Head of Medan Marelan District. The main informants, namely staff/apparatus in the Medan Marelan sub-district office, and additional informants, namely community leaders. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observations, literature studies, and documentation studies. The result of the research is that the condition or existence of existing infrastructure development in Medan Marelan District, Medan City is implemented quite effectively and is able to add and improve several facilities and infrastructure, not only road infrastructure, health infrastructure, educational infrastructure, but also add economic infrastructure. Although the infrastructure development carried out in the Medan Marelan Subdistrict area has not been optimal, the actions taken by the Medan Marelan Subdistrict Government have brought about better changes and made the atmosphere and community environment safer and more comfortable. And factors that support infrastructure development in Medan Marelan District include the support of all residents for government policies and a safe and harmonious environment in the community

IMPLEMENTATION OF MORAL VALUES IN EARLY CHILDHOOD IN THE FAMILY ENVIRONMENT IN RA BAAR, BARAT SAMBINASI VILLAGE, RIUNG DISTRICT NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR

This research discusses the inculcation of moral values to early childhood at RA Baar East Nusa Tenggara. The background of this research listed as follows (1) Since the school has a vision and mission in installing good moral values among students (2) the uniqueness of the children in Ra Baar who demonstrate good morals (3) Major role of the family environment (parents) in instilling child's moral value. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted on one of the parents whose child possesses good morals both at school and family setting. Data collection techniques were carried out through 3 stages; observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis techniques are carried out through; data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research output suggests that the process of inculcating children's moral values carried out by parents ​​around the family setting can be done by instilling religious faith in children, namely by introducing the phrase Laillaha Illallah to children, inviting children to regular worship, submitting the concept of both haram and halal, teaching good morals and appropriate manners, then by forming children's mentality, growing children's logical reasoning abilities, building children's social behaviours, giving children a sense of security and comfort, and increasing children's intelligence. Parents also provide encouragement and motivation to children so that they can value the implications of what has been instilled in children

The Influence of Leadership Style, Work Environment, and Compensation on Teacher Performance

Teacher performance plays a very important role in the advancement of education in Indonesia, if the teacher’s performance is bad, then it will not lead to the best learning outcomes. All instructors must be able to complete their tasks quickly and accurately both in management and teaching. High-class sizes, a lack of student focus and dedication, and an abundance of extracurricular activities mean that teachers’ attention is not only divided but also thinly spread. While rare, teacher absences and free time during courses can hinder learning. In addition, the early departure of teachers is a very demoralizing event, and there are positive aspects such as the principal’s management style, unpleasant working atmosphere, and unclear salary. Teacher effectiveness plays an important role in supporting education in Indonesia. The program objectives will also not be achieved optimally if the teacher's performance is below standard. This study aims to analyze the influence of the principal’s leadership style, work environment, and compensation on teacher performance. The type of research used is quantitative research. The results of this study conclude that the principal’s leadership affects teacher performance, the work environment influences teacher performance, and compensation also affects teacher performance

Food Security Strategy Based on Local Wisdom in Deli Serdang District

This study aims to find out how the main priority strategy for food security based on local wisdom in Deli Serdang is by presenting the internal and external conditions that have been carried out so far., In addition, the researchers also explained several handling urgencies that needed to be implemented so that local wisdom-based food security strategies could be more focused. The method used is a qualitative method using SWOT analysis and QSPM. The number of respondents who filled out the questionnaire was 5 respondents from farmers, the surrounding community, and traditional and religious leaders, and 5 respondents from experts. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the strategy quadrants obtained after being processed in the IFE and EFE matrices are in Quadrant I. This indicates that the strategy used is a progressive strategy. This strategy means that food security based on local wisdom in Deli Serdang has strengths and opportunities. Furthermore, in the QSPM analysis, the results show that the main priority strategy that must be carried out is to focus on preserving food security based on local wisdom so that it becomes a business opportunity on an international scale

The Effect of Innovation Ability and Human Resource Capability on Competitive Advantage to Improve Company Performance in Post-Pandemic Covid-19 (Empirical Study of Coffee Shop Companies in Semarang)

This study aims to develop a conceptual model based on Innovation Capability, Human Resource Capability, and Competitive Advantage which is expected to improve coffee shop business performance. Overall, there are 200 coffee shop owners and managers involved in this research activity. The structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method was adopted as software to assist in testing models and hypotheses. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analyzed 200 questionnaires. The findings from this study are that good coffee shop company performance can be achieved through innovation capabilities, human resource capabilities, and competitive advantage. So, this can be used as input for related company managers to be able to get their best performance in the post-pandemic period. The results of the Goodness of fit full model SEM test still show a marginal value, namely the AGFI value (0.884) which is < the cut-off value. This study also provides several suggestions for future research development. The findings contribute to practical managerial implications by providing practitioners with some insights regarding innovation capability, human resource capability, competitive advantage, and company performance. The purpose of this research is to find out the economic business model of Islamic boarding schools in Deli Serdang Regency, to analyze the role of Islamic boarding school economic businesses in improving the welfare of Islamic boarding school teaching staff in Deli Serdang Regency, and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic boarding school economics in improving the welfare of Islamic boarding school teaching staff in Deli Serdang Regency. The research approach is qualitative research. The location of this research is in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra province. Researchers visited 4 Islamic boarding schools in Deli Serdang and determined 4 Islamic boarding schools that had the highest number of students or female students. The stages carried out by researchers in data analysis are as follows: Gathering information, selecting and reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions and suggestions. Islamic boarding schools’ economic business capital consists of two types, some capital comes from Islamic boarding schools and some comes from the shares of employees and teachers under the auspices of cooperatives, so the management is divided into two, namely: businesses managed by Islamic boarding schools and businesses managed by employee and teacher cooperatives. For businesses managed by Islamic boarding schools, especially at Islamic boarding schools, teachers are given access to deposit merchandise at Islamic boarding schools. For every business that is managed by the cooperative, members and teachers who own shares will get profit sharing every year. In the Qur’an and al-Hadith, it is clear about good work and how we earn sustenance in a way that pleases Allah SWT. It is very important to discuss this, the work ethic in the Islamic view is the knitting of values ​​that shape the personality of a Muslim at work. Many of us encounter in print and electronic media, customers who complain about the service or type of satisfaction provided by the company. This study aims to determine the extent of the process from start to finish in ensuring the company PT. Asuransi Jiwa Manulife Indonesia (Manulife Indonesia) Branch Office of Bank Danamon Indonesia, Tbk Kota Mataram, so that the information obtained can help the wider community, especially the Indonesian people. This study used a qualitative approach and observations were conducted from January 2023 to February 2023. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of 1) Observation 2) Interviews, and 3) Documentation, as well as technical analysis of the data obtained by the researchers, both the results of interviews with several informants, observations, and documentation that were later processed by researchers and analyzed qualitatively. The results of the research, it has been found in the field that marketing department employees have been dishonest to prospective customers. In the future, there will be inconvenience to customers which results in customer distrust of the company. Therefore, the work ethic in Islam is not enough to only rely on conceptual abilities, but also on high moral commitment and noble character. Civil-Military Cooperation in Strengthening the National Airspace Security System

Weak coordination and communication, the existence of sectoral egos between agencies, and the tendency to act individually without integrated action resulted in the cohesiveness and speed of state handling responses to various threats and violations of airspace to be weak which ultimately affected the condition of national resilience. The concept of civil-military cooperation to strengthen the national airspace security system is built through the formulation of the National Airspace Management Bill, the establishment of institutions that accommodate coordination and cooperation between civil-military agencies, and the appointment of a command-and-control center that integrates and harmonizes the operations of all agencies. This study uses a qualitative approach with a narrative qualitative analysis method, to discuss theory, review policies and analyze expert opinions on the need for civil-military cooperation to strengthen the national airspace security system, to then draw conclusions and recommendations. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui pola komunikasi masyarakat Desa Kampung Gelgel Kecamatan Klungkung Kabupaten Klungkung dalam membentuk harmonisasi melalui kearifan lokal nyama braya. Karena pada umunya masyarakat yang hidup secara berdampingan apalagi memiliki latar belakang yang berbeda akan sangat rawan sekali untuk timbulnya konflik. Akan tetapi pada desa ini sangat minim akan hal tersebut. Berlandaskan hal tersebutlah penelitian ini dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode riset kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan Fenomenologi. Dimana pada penelitian ini menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data antara lain wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan interaksi mayarakat Desa Kampung Gelgel terbagi menjadi dua yakni asosiatif dan disosiatif. Dimana pola komunikasi dari interaksi asosiatif berupa pola komunikasi primer, sedangkan pola komunikasi disosiatif berupa pola komunikasi sekunder. Education is an important part of human life. Islamic education is an education system that strives to produce knowledgeable people in accordance with Islamic ideals that can change the way of looking at individuals to be better from all sides, both from the way of thinking, speaking and character. This research analyzes the thoughts of Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas about the study of Islamic education thought from the perspective of Naquib a-attas. This research is qualitative descriptive with a library research approach that focuses more on collecting data from various relevant data sources. In this case, it includes books, articles, journals and the internet, and research results that are relevant to the title of this scientific work. Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas defines education as a key concept that is the core of education and the educational process. The curriculum of Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas is: fardu ain and fardu kifayah, namely Islamic education and science education.
