    Building a Strong Partnership with International Partner Institutions

    The three stages for building a solid partnership between international partner universities are collaboration management, development program, and strengthening. Collaboration management is needed to tie the partnership between universities. Since the partner universities may have different time zones and cultures, good collaboration is needed. The partnership can be secured by developing programs for its effective implementation. The program can be academic such as student exchange, joint degree, faculty exchange, joint research and publication, international conference, and visiting scholars programs. To have a solid partnership, each university must run the program together. Programs with three or more partners can form a consortium. The consortium in turn can help each university strengthen its collaboration, increase the university ranking, and develop more benefit programs.     Pesan dakwah Ilung S Enha dalam film Merajut Desa Satu Hati

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui makna pesan dakwah Ilung S Enha dalam film Merajut Desa Satu Hati serta untuk mengetahui Sign, interpretant, dan objek dalam Film Merajut Desa Satu Hati. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis analisis semiotik. Metode analisis penelitian ini menggunakan teori semiotika Charles sanders Peirce. Sedangkan data primer penelitian ini adalah film Merajut Desa Satu Hati yang diperoleh dari channel youtube K-TV dengan data sekunder majalah MPA edisi februari 2020 dan wawancara dengan Ilung S Enha. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pesan dakwah dalam film Merajut Desa Satu Hati. Diantaranya adalah; pesan untuk saling menghormati dan menghargai, pesan untuk menebarkan manfaat pada seluruh alam pesan tasamuh, ta‟awun, ta‟aruf, dan sikap saling menghargai kepercayaan orang lain

    Negotiation Strategy to Persuade Students in an International Class

    The word “persuasion” carries both good and bad connotations. Teaching as a form of persuasion needs strategies to persuade and negotiate with students. The negotiations are aimed at making students actively involved in the teaching and learning process. This article analyzes several persuasion strategies used in the classrooms to negotiate with students. For this purpose, the author observed the ESP (English for Specific Purposes) class for university students at International Program Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). It was observed that during interpersonal communication between a teacher and students, the language used contained interpersonal function as the communication that aims to educate students has a lasting effect and also affects how well the students comprehend information or acquire the message. The persuasion that the teacher applies should consider several negotiation strategies. The study showed how certain acts of speech can influence students’ minds and drive their actions.     ZnO-Porous Clay Heterostructure from Saponite as Green Catalyst for Citronellal Cyclization

    Green conversion in organic synthesis is one of the interesting and important topics in green chemistry. The use of heterogeneous catalysis instead of homogeneous catalysis offers some advantages, such as easy separation and reusability. In this research, a heterogeneous acid catalyst was prepared from saponite by immobilizing ZnO in the form of a pillared clay (Zn/PILS) and Zn supported on porous clay heterostructure (Zn/PCH). Physicochemical studies involving X-ray diffraction measurement, surface analysis using a gas sorption analyzer, and surface acidity measurement were performed. Results indicated that the increasing surface acidity and the high specific surface area of the material were the relevant physicochemical properties that facilitate environment-friendly citronellal cyclization. The higher values for both parameters in Zn/PCH than in Zn/PILS linearly affected citronellal conversion and the selectivity for isopulegol production. Zn/PCH demonstrated a conversion rate of 98.9% for a 3-hour reaction and a selectivity of 100% for isopulegol production, and it exhibited reusability properties. Copyright © 2020 by Authors, Published by BCREC Group.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Pengelolaan Keuangan Desa Berdasarkan Permendagri No 113 Tahun 2014 Di Desa Suko Awin Jaya serta faktor penghambat pengelolaan keuangan desa. Penulis menggunakan sifat penelitian yang deskriptif kualitatif, Jenis penelitian yang peneliti pilih adalah jenis penelitian hukum empiris. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah Perangkat Desa Suko Awin Jaya. Sumber data sekunder antara lain : Permendagri No.113 Tahun 2014, Karya ilmiah para sarjana, Hasil penelitian, Buku-buku, Internet, dan Makalah. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, studi dokumen dan wawancara. pelaksanaan pengelolaan keuangan desa di Desa Suko Awin Jaya perlu melakukan beberapa tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, penatausahaan, dan pengelolaan keuangan. Faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam pengelolaan keuangan desa adalah Masyarakat kurang terlibat aktif dan Aturan dalam Pemerintahan

    Boron Doped Graphene Quantum Structure and MoS2 Nanohybrid as Anode Materials for Highly Reversible Lithium Storage

    Herein, the boron-doped graphene quantum structure (BGQS), which contains both the advantages of 0-D graphene quantum dot and 2-D reduced graphene oxide, has been fabricated by top-down hydrothermal method and then mixed with molybdenum sulfide (MoS2) to serve as an active electrode material for the enhanced electrochemical performance of lithium ion battery. Results show that 30 wt% of BGQS/MoS2 nanohybrid delivers the superior electrochemical performance in comparison with other BGQS/MoS2 and bare components. A highly reversible capacity of 3,055 mAh g−1 at a current density of 50 mA g−1 is achieved for the initial discharge and a high reversible capacity of 1,041 mAh g−1 is obtained at 100 mA g−1 after 50 cycles. The improved electrochemical performance in BGQS/MoS2 nanohybrid is attributed to the well exfoliated MoS2 structures and the presence of BGQS, which can provide the vitally nano-dimensional contact for the enhanced electrochemical performance. Results obtained in this study clearly demonstrate that BGQS/MoS2 is a promising material for lithium ion battery and can open a pathway to fabricate novel 2-D nanosheeted nanocomposites for highly reversible Li storage application

    Media sosial bagi remaja sudah menjadi candu yang membuat penggunanya tiada hari tana. Media sosial ini hadir sejalan dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi. Dengan menggunakan media sosial, seseorang bebas berkomentar dan membagikan pendapat dengan pengguna lain. Walaupun media sosial itu sering dipakai untuk menciptakan perasaan baik, tanpa sadar media sosial juga dapat menjadi boomerang bagi mereka sendiri sehingga dapat menimbulkan hal buruk. Dalam penelitian ini memakai metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu dengan menyebarkan angket kepada 10 responden remaja berusia sekitar 15-20 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan dari media sosial terhadap kepercayaan diri pada remaja dan mengetahui dampak dari media sosial. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah bahwasannya media sosial berdampak positif dan negatif tergantung penggunanya
