    This research aims to: 1) know how to manage your Amil way in Zakat Management in the Bima city, 2) know the role of Amil as Zakat manager in the people\u27s welfare in the Bima city. This research uses qualitative descriptive method with field research type (field research). The reseach results found that the Amil way manages zakat namely there is in accordance with the prophethood principle and is not in accordance with the prophethood principle. While his role as a manager for the people\u27s welfare is not yet maximum by looking at the utilization of Zakat funds.     Teacher trainers' and trainee teachers' understanding towards the curriculum philosophy regarding soft skills embedment in the Malaysian Institute of Teacher Education

    The embedment of soft skills into education programs in higher education is closely related to the curriculum philosophy brought by the respective institutions. The soft skills are embedded through understanding belief systems and practices among the teacher trainers. Furthermore it provides an insight into the curriculum philosophy on how to implement soft skills embedment. Therefore, this study aimed to understand teacher trainers’ understanding and teaching practice in embedding soft skills while teaching core courses for the Bachelor of Teaching Program (PISMP) at the Malaysia Institute of Teacher Education (IPG). This understanding is necessary in order to resolve the misunderstanding that embedding soft skills are burdensome for the teacher trainers and that it is only documented without being practiced. The case study methodology was used through a qualitative approach. Five teacher trainers with different backgrounds and teaching experience participated as respondents. The findings resulted in improved understanding on teacher trainers’ understanding about soft skills embedment and how the actual process of embedding soft skills occurred. The results of this study allow those involved in the development of student-teachers' soft skills to generate ideas to develop models for soft skills embedment that are in line with the interpretation of PISMP soft skills

    Abstract: This study aims to determine the types of goods traded by Muslim traders, to analyze the Business Ethics of Muslim Traders viewed from an Islamic perspective and to analyze the welfare conditions of Muslim traders from an Islamic perspective in the Mataram Traditional Market. This study uses qualitative methods, because it examines reality, phenomena or symptoms that are holistic / intact, complex, dynamic and full of meaning. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, sound recordings and photographs. Informants were determined while in the field using snowball sampling techniques. Analysis of the data used is qualitative analysis. Research conclusions: 1. There are six groups of goods traded, namely: agricultural products, home industry, fishery products, food, various types of snacks and various types of culinary; 2. Most traders have adopted Islamic business ethics, for example not using fake oaths, being loose and generous, building good relationships and setting prices transparently. Some of them have not fully implemented Islamic business ethics, for example, not being honest in selling, not being loose and generous and not building a good relationship with customers; 3. Most traders have gotten a good life (hayaatan tayyibah) and have been qana’ah, even though they live in simplicity. They are also included in a prosperous family, because they have been able to meet the needs of dharuriyyat and hajiyat. Some others do not include a prosperous family, because it has not been able to meet the needs of dharuriyyat (hifzun-nafs)

    This study aims to analyze how the behavior of grocery store entrepreneurs in choosing Islamic banking financing. This research uses qualitative methods, data collection was carried out by means of interviews. The informants in this study were Muslim grocery traders who trade in the city of Mataram. The conclusion is that all entrepreneurs need capital for their business. Sociologically, many entrepreneurs follow their relatives around them, namely fellow micro sector entrepreneurs who have already been in contact with Islamic banks so that they choose financing in the same place, then anthropologically, it is seen more broadly that entrepreneurs follow relationships with Islamic banks because of their family and apart from being both businessmen in the micro sector, these relatives are also Muslim, so this is cultured in the environment around him. In addition, the active role of Islamic banking marketing also participates in influencing entrepreneurs to take financing from Islamic banks. Second, its relation to Islamic economic principles. Some entrepreneurs take financing from Islamic banks just because they join in, while other entrepreneurs take financing from Islamic banks because they have knowledge of Islamic economic principles, namely avoiding usury. Grocery store entrepreneurs do not know about the existing products in Islamic banking, the product that is clearly known is the Sharia KUR and grocery store entrepreneurs also know that the product uses a murabahah contract. But on the other hand, quite a lot of entrepreneurs have also interacted with conventional financial institutions, according to entrepreneurs because of an urgent need

    <p>Organizational commitment considered as an important issue in any types of organization. Many studies have been addressed on organizational commitment among profit worker. Oppositely, studies about organizational commitment addressed for volunteer to run the program generally engage with non-profit organization tend to be lack. Therefore, this study was conducted to emerge organizational commitment in different aspect within non-profit organization especially relate to non-formal element. As regards to the extension education, the objective of the study is to examine relationship between satisfaction and organizational commitment among scout volunteer. The research used quantitative method to analyze the data. The instrument was used self administered questionnaire adapted from previous studies. It was divided into several parts: demographic, Volunteer Satisfaction Index (VSI) and Organizational commitment (OCQ). The questionnaire was administered to 220 respondents from scout center organization in Samarinda-East Kalimantan, Indonesia. The sample was taken using sample random technique. The data was analyzed both descriptive as well as inferential statistic. The finding of the study revealed that two of four dimensions from job satisfaction namely support and group integration considered having correlation towards organizational commitment, conversely, organizational efficacy and empowerment were failed to have correlation with organizational commitment. Several implications and recommendation related with the subject were provided relate with this study.</p
