Accanto ad altri enigmi altrettanto importanti, il Nuovo mondo solo in apparenza è situato, chiarito, definito o codificato. All along Brazilian history, Brazilian and foreign interpreters have questioned national society, building and rebuilding historical and theoretical issues. In spite of the diversity of the analyses, it is possible to rank them according to their points of view, their intellectual or family lineage, thus profiling themes and future perspectives that are recurrent in the history of the interpretations of culture, society, economy and politics in Brazil. Finally, from a wide point of view, the diversified group of interpretations can be seen as a complex fictional narrative that combines the search for clarity and the construction of meanings.Ao longo da história do Brasil, intérpretes brasileiros e estrangeiros interrogam continuamente a sociedade nacional, construindo e reconstruindoproblemas históricos e teóricos. A racialização do mundo

A globalização do capitalismo e a nova divisão transnacional do trabalho, dinamizada pelas novas tecnologias, pela informatização e pela robotização da produção, processo que também se expressa pelas migrações entre as nações dentro de um amplo processo de urbanização do mundo, mostram-nos a emergência e a ressurgência de problemas raciais associados a nacionalismos e localismos. Isto ressalta que a globalização é acompanhada de uma fragmentação, onde as linhas limites entre classe e raça mesclam-se e confundem-se mas, na maioria das vezes, não se dissolvem. Neste contexto, os problemas raciais podem ser vistos como manifestação de movimentos e configurações, e como dimensão fundamental da sociedade globalizada em formação.The globalization of capitalism and the new transnational division of labour which is dinamized by new technologies, by informatization and the robotization of production – a process which also expresses itself through the migrations between nations in a broad process of worldwide urbanization - show us the birth and re-birth of racial problems associated to nationalisms and localisms. All these facts emphasize that globalization is accompanied by a fragmentation in which the frontiers between class and race are mixed but mostly not dissolved. In this context racial problems can be seen as an expression of movements and configurations, and as a fundamental dimension of a rising global society
