Prospects for early SUSY searches at LHC
Search for the physics beyond the Standard Model is one of the most relevant goals of the CMS and ATLAS experiments at Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Prospects for early R-parity conserving supersymmetry discovery and mass measurements with the CMS and ATLAS detector for the first fb−1 of data are presented. All the presented studies are based on realistic Monte Carlo simulations
Collider aspects of flavour physics at high Q
This review presents flavour related issues in the production and decays of
heavy states at LHC, both from the experimental side and from the theoretical
side. We review top quark physics and discuss flavour aspects of several
extensions of the Standard Model, such as supersymmetry, little Higgs model or
models with extra dimensions. This includes discovery aspects as well as
measurement of several properties of these heavy states. We also present public
available computational tools related to this topic.Comment: Report of Working Group 1 of the CERN Workshop ``Flavour in the era

Collider aspects of flavor physics at high Q
This chapter of the 'Flavor in the era of LHC' workshop report discusses flavor-related issues in the production and decays of heavy states at the LHC at high momentum transfer Q, both from the experimental and the theoretical perspective. We review top quark physics, and discuss the flavor aspects of several extensions of the standard model, such as supersymmetry, little Higgs models or models with extra dimensions. This includes discovery aspects, as well as the measurement of several properties of these heavy states. We also present publicly available computational tools related to this topic. © Springer-Verlag / Società Italiana di Fisica 2008
