In the healthcare industry, supply chain and logistics management are an important element in supporting the sustainability of the healthcare business. Business continuity in the healthcare industry requires improved quality of the healthcare sector. The quality of healthcare services may be affected by the performance of supply chain and logistics. Supply chain and logistics processes provide a substantial contribution in the overall financing of healthcare. The high costs incurred to finance the activities of the supply chain and logistics in the healthcare industry providing a major challenge for healthcare management. Management is demanded to achieve quality healthcare supply chain processes at a high level that minimize operating costs and improve service quality. So that, strategy and innovation in management are needed to achieve a high quality performance of supply chain and logistics in the healthcare industry in order to run effectively and efficiently. This paper discusses the research that focuses on the strategic management in the field of supply chain and logistics management in the healthcare industry. Based on obtained and selected articles will discuss various strategies and innovation within the healthcare system to improve supply chain performance

Analisis Kebijakan Penggunaan Obat Generik Di Indonesia Serta Dampaknya Pada Biaya Belanja Obat Masyarakat Studi Kasus Pada Obat Penyakit Diabetes Mengguakan Pendekatan Sistem Dinamik

PROCEEDING INTERNATIONAL ON INTELLIGENT MANUFACTURING & LOGISTICS SYSTEMS (Human Aspects in Supply Chain Planning and Operations)

Supply chain planning and operations is deeply dependent on human despite the increasing use of automation in various supply chain activities. Human has played roles in managing day-to-day transaction recording, data analysis, quality inspection, materials movement, as well as making decisions on various aspects of supply chain planning, including setting inventory parameters, capacity flexibility level and various other decisions. Despite the critical roles of human in supply chain planning and operations, there is a limited literature that comprehensively addresses this issue. Supported by literature review in the field, we discuss human roles in supply chain planning and operations. We use the business process models and then we attempt to identify critical roles of human in each key process of supply chain planning and operations. This early research is expected to set the stage for the follow up empirical research. Human capital and global competitiveness in an increasingly competitive global marketplace[4]. There is evidence to the human dimension that 80 percent of supply chain problems occur due to the people[5]. Human limitations become one of big problems on strategic level for supply chain [6]. Five critical performance levers have the greatest impact on supply chain performance: (1) configuration,(2) management practices, (3) external relationships, (4) organization; and (5) systems[7]. Human capability become important entity for management practices, external relationships, and organization. Optimizations and integration on supply chain cannot be done without people [8] . Supported by literature review in the field, we present a discussion on human roles in supply chain planning and operations. We used the business process models and then we attempt to identify critical roles of human in each key process of supply chain planning and operations. This paper is expected to set the stage for the follow up empirical research

Supply chain planning and operations is deeply dependent on human endeavor. The performance of a supply chain is determined by the human that is involved in the process of planning and operation. Supply chain planning involves activities such as demand forecasting, developing various plans that includes production plan, procurement plan, and distribution plan. Supply chain operations are essentially executing such supply chain processes such as procurement, production, transportation, and warehousing. In all of the above processes, the roles of human are critical, although the specific roles played from one process to another are different. Human performance problems identified in real operational events often involve operators performing actions that are not required for accident response. Analyses of the major failure/accidents during recent decades have concluded that human errors on part of operators, designers or managers have played a major role. On the other hand, the effectiveness of human in planning as well as operations of a supply chain is affected by two other factors, namely the tools used and the working environment. In this paper we present a simulation modeling that establish a linkage between human, tools, and working environments in supply chain planning and operations to reduce or eliminate human error. The analysis of these relations is complex, involving vagueness and uncertainty data. Fuzzy Logics (FL) provides a mathematical framework for the systematic treatment of vagueness and imprecision data. This paper presents a simulation modeling using fuzzy logics in reducing human error

Determinants of Customer Satisfaction at Pertamina\u27s Lubricants ProductLubricant industry is one of the strategic industries in around the world. The potential of the lubricant industry in Indonesia grows rapidly along with the increasing demand and the number of a vehicle from year to year. This study aims to analyze factors that influencing customer satisfaction Pertamina Lubricants product and measure how far the customer satisfaction level of its product. This study observed eight categories of Pertamina Lubricants product, with quota sampling technique where each category of the product taken 30 samples, so the total number of the sample are 240 respondents. Multiple linear regression and customer satisfaction index were used in this study. The study finds brand popularity has the most significant effect on customer satisfaction, followed by price and durability. Customer satisfaction level stands at 78 percent, which means belongs in the satisfied category. Managerial implications of this study provide strategies for Pertamina Lubricants to improve their business performance and to increase the level of customer satisfactionDOI: 10.15408/ess.v7i1.430
