Prosocial behavior especially the behavior of helping, sharing, donating, cooperation and honesty are indicated to decrease along with the rise of technological advances. This study aims to examine the relationship between peer social support, self-concept on adolescent prosocial behavior and gender with adolescent prosocial behavior. The population in this study were all 129 students of SMP X in Sidoarjo grades 7 and 8. Data analysis used is multiple regression analysis and t test. The results of this study stated that there was a very significant relationship between peer social support and self-concept with prosocial behavior (F = 60.767; p = 0.000 (p <0.01). Partially there was a very significant relationship between peer social support and prosocial behavior (t = 4.784; p = 0.000 (p <0.01). And there is a very significant relationship between self-concept and prosocial behavior (t = 5.068; p = 0.000 (p <0.01). There is no significant difference between male and female gender on prosocial behavior (t = -0.968; p = 0.335 (p>0.05). The implications of this study can be improved students' prosocial behavior through charity activities in various communities. The role of the intraoperative ultrasonography in low-grade gliomas: Case report

Objective: Use of intraoperative ultrasound for localizing tumors and determining the extent of resection.Materials and methods: We report two patients diagnosed with brain tumors that underwent intraoperative ultrasonoghraphy in localizing and defining the borders of tumors and assessing the extent of their resection.Discussions: Intraoperative ultrasound brain scanning is extremely useful to detect the cerebral lesion, the relationships with the nearby structures, the estimation of vascularization, the grade of resection and other associated lesions. The tumor image is different from the normal anatomical CNS structures, and some features like soft or hard tissue, cystic or necrotic areas can be visualized. Conclusion: Cerebral intraoperative ultrasound is a benefit for the surgical act, thus being the neurosurgeon’s “deep-seated eye”

This study aims to describe the effect of content mastery services assisted by video media toreduce phubbing behavior in SMPN 3 Bengkulu City. This study used an experimental method with one group pre-test post-test design. The population is 163 students. The research sample was students who had a high level ofphubbing behavior. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test with the help of the SPSS version 2.1 application. The results showedthat there was a decrease in thlevel of phubbing behavior in studentsafter being given cintent mastery services assisted by vide media. There is an influence of content mastery services assisted by video media on students phubbing behavior. The phubbing behavior of students before being given treatment was relatively high. The phubbing behavior of students after being given treatment decreased. Keywords: Phubbing Behavior, Video Media, Content Mastery ServicePenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsikan pengaruh layanan penguasaan konten berbantuan media video untuk mengurangi perilaku phubbing pada siswa SMPN 3 Kota Bengkulu. A New Limit on the Neutrinoless DBD of 130Te

We report the present results of CUORICINO a cryogenic experiment on neutrinoless double beta decay (DBD) of 130Te consisting of an array of 62 crystals of TeO2 with a total active mass of 40.7 kg. The array is framed inside of a dilution refrigerator, heavily shielded against environmental radioactivity and high-energy neutrons, and operated at a temperature of ~8 mK in the Gran Sasso Underground Laboratory. Temperature pulses induced by particle interacting in the crystals are recorded and measured by means of Neutron Transmutation Doped thermistors. The gain of each bolometer is stabilized with voltage pulses developed by a high stability pulse generator across heater resistors put in thermal contact with the absorber. The calibration is performed by means of two thoriated wires routinely inserted in the set-up. No evidence for a peak indicating neutrinoless DBD of 130Te is detected and a 90% C.L. lower limit of 1.8E24 years is set for the lifetime of this process. Taking largely into account the uncertainties in the theoretical values of nuclear matrix elements, this implies an upper boud on the effective mass of the electron neutrino ranging from 0.2 to 1.1 eV. This sensitivity is similar to those of the 76Ge experiments.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figure

LRH1 as a driving factor in pancreatic cancer growth

Liver receptor homolog 1 (LRH1), directs the development and differentiation of embryonic pancreas, and is overexpressed in pancreatic cancer (PC). We hypothesized that LRH1 promotes PC growth. Cell proliferation and tumorigenicity in nude mice were compared between empty vector-transfected (control) and stable LRH1-overexpressed PC cell lines. The subsequent tumor burden, vasculature development, and histologic features were evaluated. LRH1 overexpression enhanced the expression of downstream target genes (cyclin D1/E1) and stimulated cell proliferation in PC cell lines. LRH1 upregulated cyclin E1 truncated T1/T2 isoforms expression which may occur through ERα–calpain1 signaling. Compared with the control, LRH1 overexpressing stable cells generated tumors with increased weight, proliferation index and enhanced angiogenesis. Cyclin D1/E1 and calpain1 were overexpressed in human PC tumors compared to adjacent normal pancreas. These observations demonstrate that LRH1 promotes PC growth and angiogenesis, suggesting that LRH1 is a driving factor in tumorigenesis and may serve as a potential therapeutic target
