Giro poético/político en la reconstrucción del sujeto en la escena de la post dictadura chilena: Ramón Griffero y Éxtasis o la senda de la santidad

Through Ramón Griffero’s text and staging of Éxtasis o la senda de la santidad (1994) I search for the signs and traces of the strong reconfigurations produced in Chilean theatre at the time of the fall of the macro-narratives, which coincides with the end of Pinochet’s regime. At this turning point in Griffero’s poetics, I strive to identify the constructive strategies that he uses to produce and display his own subjectivity and that of others. Cultural studies and theorists such as Foster, Cornago, Owens, Benjamin, Grüner, and Griffero himself inform my study of the displacements and disruptions that Griffero produces in canonic constructions of discourses and texts, tracing new ground on which these dimensions operate as aesthetics, ethics, and politics

Imponiendo derrotas a triunfos del pasado: corporizaciones de la memoria y el olvido en Los que van quedando en el camino de Guillermo Calderón 2010

Recent Chilean theatre, insisting on processing collective trauma, has developed procedures that bend canonic dramaturgies through staging in peculiar spaces and embodiments charged with symbolic weight, thus articulating the renewed critical horizon of post-dictatorship generations. This procedure is explored through the deconstruction of the theatrical, performative, and dramatic threads of Guillermo Calderón’s staging in 2010 of Aguirre’s text Los que van quedando en el camino. First staged in 1969 by DETUCH, the play was looked upon as the “right” performance, congruent with the utopic prerevolutionary times of its emergency. This study proposes that Calderón composes his production as an allegory of the personal/historical rub between the always declining and nonetheless persisting personal-historical urge towards memory, a process he claims is condemned to a catastrophic failure

Evaluation of the shrinkage and creep of medium strength self compacting concrete

The difference between self compacting concrete (SCC) and conventional concrete (CC) is in fresh state, is the high fluidity at first and the need for vibration at second, but in hardened state, both concretes must comply with the resistance specified, in addition to securing the safety and functionality for which it was designed. This article describes the tests and results for shrinkage and creep at some medium strength Self Compacting Concrete with added sand (SCC-MSs) and two types of cement. The research was conducted at the Laboratorio de Tecnología de Estructuras (LTE) of the Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya (UPC), in dosages of 200 liters; with the idea of evaluating the effectiveness of implementation of these new concretes at elements designed with conventional concrete (CCs).Peer ReviewedPostprint (published version

The implementation of a modified version of Gentrys method to Mosqueras cork oak forest (Azuébar, Catellón) provides quantitative data on its structure, biomass and biodiversity. This study interprets the obtained results as due to the historical cork removal of this forest, and to other traditional uses such as vegetal charcoal production or removals of biomass fuels. This paper provides useful knowledge on the conditions and dynamics of a managed forest, exploited intensively until early 1960s and now destined to new uses
