Carp aquaculture is one of Maine potential for commercial and rural development, employing enhancement and earning income .This enterprise which is conducted by using fresh water and unfertile lands have been attended in the country since last seven decades. In accordance to wide area of cultivation in the country, maximum production is about 150000 tonnes in 2010. Establishment of aquaculture center by technical deputy of president, made a suitable opportunity for preparation of carp development road map. In this report, present condition and problems in front of carp development have been analyzed, and regarding to targets of long term country development, projects for research and executive sectors have been prepared

Decline in capture fisheries and sea food demand lead to improve shrimp aquaculture activities. Iran had good experiences on shrimp farming during tow decades. White spot disease collapse the shrimp farming activities in recent years. Although goater were the main site for shrimp culture but this site were affected by white spot disease (WSD). Environmental stressors were the main criteria for attention in this regard. An investigation was carried out to monitor management practices and to find out whether there is any relationship with occurrence of white spot disease and environmental parameters. Five semi-intensive shrimp farms were selected in bahookalat chabahar area (2500 ha). The farms were situated at goater area. Tree ponds from each farm at random were selected for the study. All major environmental parameters such as O2, temperature, salinity. PH, nitrogen were recognized by standard method. Logistic regression were used for relationship of water parameters with occurrence of white spot disease. There were no significant relationship between PH, salinity and nitrogen in ponds and canals. But significant variations were recorded for oxygen (1.58) Temperature (0.89) with occurrence of white spot disease. Pond aeration can use for reduction and prevention of diseases

There are many factors affecting aquaculture insurance in Iran. In spite of existing formulation for warm water fish culture in Iran, there was several aspects and new revisions were remind. In this study we focused on risk assessment as well as insurance procedure to find the better management practices on running insurance in the country. 360 farm in tree provinces (guilan, Mazandaran, Khozestan were selected for risk analysis program. Data were collected throw questionnaire forms. The project was carried out in fore disciplines 1) risk analyzing for manageable and unmanageable accidents and their deductible rates 2) revise premium forms , claim forms, inspection forms 3) new formulation for insurance management 4) guide lines for diagnostic futures and prevention of manageable accident

Gillan , Mazandaran and Gorgan provinces have temperate climate, thus they have more potential for aquatic animal culture. There are thousands hectare of lands for Aquaculture and fisheries in adjacent to Caspian Sea in this provinces. These areas (North alborz) have provided a favorable back ground for aquatic animal breeding and stock enhancement of species in the sea. As a result, this investigation executed during two stages (phases). At first stage, the goal of this project included the feasibility study and demonstrating the existing situation of fish stock enhancement activities in North Alborz area and second phase is to survey on distribution, and production activities of stock enhancing hatcheries as well as their constructions, and production time table. Survey was started from 2006 to 2008 by using qestionaries in 7 hatcheries from tree provinces. Results reviled that there are more than 10 species was subjected to restocking .Total releasing was about 300 millions of fry and finger lings in to the Caspian sea

The survey on imported F1 generation carp species in order to enhance genetic diversity of Chinese basic domesticated carp population in Iran

This project has done with the collaboration of Bnyad mostazafan (Ran agriculture and livestock Co.) with goal of increasing efficiency of warm water fishes (Chinese Carps) production. The fish were purchased from China (B. G.) in two parts in Jun 2014. The fish then transferred and quarantined to the ponds in Aghili’s farm In Azadshar using container trucks. The biological parameters of fish such as growth rate were measured during the experiment. The growth rate were obtained 9, 16, 16 and 14% for common carp, big head, silver carp and grass carp, respectively. The result shows that production of experimental ponds (ponds 2 and 4) were obtained 3473 kg/ha while the control ponds produced 2700kg/ha 1n 1393. In general the production were increased 31% when comparing with average of local production and raised 26% when comparing with average production of the entire country in 1393. In this study showed that by importing the F1 generation of Chinese carp, it can expected that production will be increased to 1.5 times of current carrying capacity as long as using aeration system and appropriate management
