    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa Program Keahlian Teknik Otomotif Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta pada mata pelajaran chasis dan pemindah daya melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif strategi listening team. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), pada prosesnya menerapkan strategi pembelajaran listening team. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini ada 4 tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Obyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TKR 2 SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012 dengan jumlah 28 siswa. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini menerapkan 3 siklus, langkah-langkah penelitian dimulai dengan pretest untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal siswa, selanjutnya pemberian materi, setelah pembelajaran selesai maka startegi listening team diterapkan, adapun pelaksanaannya yaitu dengan membagi kelas ke dalam kelompok-kelompok kecil. Setiap kelompok terdiri dari 6-7 orang siswa, kelompok I diberi tugas untuk bertanya, anggota kelompok ini mengajukan minimal 4 pertanyaan mengenai materi yang disampaikan, kelompok II diberi tugas sebagai kelompok yang menjawab pertanyaan dari kelompok I, kelompok III diberi tugas sebagai kelompok yang setuju, kelompok ini bertugas menyatakan poin-poin mana yang mereka sepakati dari pernyataan kelompok II disertai dengan alasan, kelompok IV diberi tugas sebagai kelompok yang tidak setuju, kelompok ini bertugas menyatakan poin-poin mana yang mereka tidak sepakati dari pernyataan kelompok III disertai dengan alasan. Pengamatan keaktifan siswa dalam belajar dan hasil belajar selama penerapan strategi listening team dipantau melalui observasi langsung, sedangkan hasil belajar diukur dengan melaksanakan tes awal pada awal pertemuan dan tes akhir pada akhir pertemuan. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa strategi pembelajaran listening team menunjukkan peningkatan aktifitas positif dan hasil belajar siswa keaktifan positif siklus I sebesar 23,33%; siklus II sebesar 34,23%; siklus III sebesar 51,85%. Sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar saat observasi awal sebesar 6,87; siklus I sebesar 72,4; siklus II sebesar 75,1; dan siklus III sebesar 79,2. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah aktifitas positif dan hasil belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui strategi pembelajaran listening team

    ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN RANGKING WEBOMETRICS UNIVERSITAS TERBAIK DI INDONESIA DENGAN PERANGKINGAN METODE TOPSIS DAN VIKOR

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan peringkat website akademik perguruan tinggi di Indonesia menurut Webometrics berdasarkan dengan metode Topsis dan metode Vikor. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu search engine google dan web crawler socscibot. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan obyek penelitian 30 website akademik perguruan tinggi terbaik di Indonesia sesuai dengan peringkat Webometrics. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan selama 90 hari dan dilakukan secara berulang-ulang. Hal ini dilakukan agar mendapatkan data yang reliabel dan valid. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dilakukan perhitungan untuk memperoleh hasil perangkingan dengan metode Topsis dan Vikor. Analisis data menggunakan uji Friedman dan Spearman guna memperoleh uji kelayakan hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa hasil (1) uji Spearman perangkingan metode Topsis dengan perangkingan metode Vikor adalah signifikansi sama, terbukti dengan nilai rs hitung yang bernilai 0.7134 dimana bernilai lebih besar dari taraf signifikansi 5 % yang seharusnya 0.3063. (2) Uji Spearman perangkingan metode Webometrics dengan perangkingan metode Topsis adalah signifikan berbeda, terbukti dengan nilai rs hitung yang bernilai -0.1693 dimana bernilai kurang dari taraf signifikansi 5% yang seharusnya bernilai 0.3063. (3) Uji Spearman perangkingan metode Webometrics dengan perangkingan metode Vikor adalah signifikan berbeda, terbukti dengan nilai rs hitung yang bernilai 0.0118 dimana bernilai kurang dari taraf signifikansi 5 % yang seharusnya bernilai 0.3063. (4) Uji Friedman perangkingan menggunakan metode Topsis, Vikor dan Webometrics adalah memiliki taraf signifikansi yang sama, terbukti dari hasil perhitungan hitung bernilai 1.8 kurang dari taraf signifikansi dengan α = 5% yang seharusnya bernilai 5.991

    Word formation is the process of constructing new words from existing materials. There are six kinds of word formations those are Blending, Compounding, Clipping, Borrowing, Acronym, and Abbreviation. In this study, the writer investigates the word used in word formations, kinds of word formations and the lexical meaning of word used in word formations found in television. The writer believes that some consumer do not understand all the lexical meaning of language advertisement using word formations. The purpose of this study was to know the words used in word formations, kind of word formations and the lexical meaning of words used in word formations found in television advertisement. This study is conducted to give contribution for English Department, such as to enrich the knowledge of English Department students about recent linguistics phenomena in English community and to develop the ability of understanding linguistics science. The writer used a descriptive qualitative research design to describe and interpret the word used word formations, kind of word formations and the lexical meaning of word used in word formations found in television advertisement. The object of the study the writer chooses word formations in television advertisement especially in Indosiar program specified to the medicine product. In collecting the data, the writer used observation as the instrument. Here, the writer does direct observation to complete the data, because he wants to get the data from the research objects. To analyze the data, the writer used several step as follows: 1) finding the word and put in the table, 2) classifying the word into word formations, 3) Analyzing the lexical meaning of word used word formation found in television advertisement, 4) Drawing conclusion based on the data. The result of this study shows that 22 words classified into 4 word formations used in television advertisement and the lexical meaning of 22 words in television advertisement especially medicine product. Finally, the writer suggests that this study will encourage other researchers to conduct better researcher, especially in linguistic subject

    The Problem Based Learning (PBL)-Based Entrepreneurship Learning Model Development to Improve the Life Skills of the Teacher Training Students in Private Universities throughout Solo Raya

    Purpose – This research aims at providing a PBL-based Entrepreneurship learning model to improve the student life skills in Private Faculties of Teacher Training and Educationin Solo Raya. Method – This research was a “research and development”. The research and development model consists of three steps: preliminary study, model development, and model testing. The research study stage employed a qualitative research; techniques of collecting data used were observation, interview, and content analysis and archive, while the data validation was done using data (source), method and theory triangulations, and informant review; data analysis was done using an interactive model of analysis. Findings – The implementation of life skills education in FKIP of UNISRI was not based on specific curriculum yet; the curriculum is integrated into all courses existing in the Study Program. The life skill content of each course is different but proportional and consistent with the characteristics of the course. Life skill education was given to the students in terms of the thinking and working skill, knowledge, and attitude the students to prepare themselves as independent members of society. Significance – The Problem Based Learning (PBL)-Based Entrepreneurship learning model development could improve the life skills of the private Teacher Training and Education Faculty’s Students throughout Solo Raya

    Polychlorinated Terphenyls (PCTs): Backbone Angle of ortho and nonortho Chlorination

    Polychorinated Terphenyls is considered as one of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and have been banned in the use mostly in United State and Europe countries. A study of the ortho chlorination toward backbone angle has been done in order to obtain the information of –C-C- angle of between aromatic groups of terphenyls. Five hexachlorinated terphenyl standards have been deployed for the purpose. Firstly, five terphenyl standards of 2,2",3,3",5,5"-hexachlorinated-meta-, 2',3,3",5,5',5"-hexachlorinated- para-, 2',3,3",4,4",5'-hexachlorinated-para-, 2,2”,3,3”,5,5”-hexachlorinaated-para-, 3,3´,3”,5,5´,5”-hexachlorinated-para- have been measured by GC-FTIR. From the data obtained, IR spectra of each standard were then compared to the theoretical calculation with Gaussian Program. The result showed that IR spectra of all five standard congeners were fit to the each spectra of the theoretical calculation. Based on the theoretical IR spectra obtained, furthermore, backbone angle of each five standards were able to be obtained related to the position of the chlorination pattern of the backbone. The angle between aromatics groups because of ortho chlorination or without ortho chlorination was clearly different. The ortho chlorination contributed to angle resulted in the lowest structure energy level around 51°-58°. Without ortho chlorination, the angle is around 36°

    Penerapan Pembelajaran IPA Terpadu Tipe Webbed Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Stad Pada Tema Roket Air Di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Dlanggu Mojokerto

    Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menjelaskan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, hasil belajar siswa, dan respon siswa pada pembelajaran IPA Terpadu tipe Webbed menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe STAD pada tema roket air di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Dlanggu Mojokerto. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VIII-D SMP Negeri 1 Dlanggu Mojokerto tahun ajaran 2013/2014 pada semester Gasal yang terdiri dari 16 siswa menggunakan metode Pre Experimental Design dengan model rancangan One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. Hasil yang diperoleh  menunjukkan bahwa: (1). Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu tipe Webbed menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe STAD pada tema roket air telah dilakukan dengan kriteria baik dengan skor rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 3,6 (2). Hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA Terpadu tipe Webbed menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe STAD pada tema roket air dapat dikategorikan sangat baik. Hasil belajar Kognitif siswa menunjukkan sebanyak 93,75% siswa mencapai ketuntasan klasikal dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 84,69. Ketuntasan belajar Afektif siswa yang diperoleh mencapai 100% dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 86,33. Ketuntasan belajar Psikomotor siswa yang diperoleh juga mencapai 100% dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 83,85. (3). Respon siswa sangat baik terhadap penerapan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu tipe Webbed menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe STAD pada tema roket air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu tipe Webbed menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe STAD pada tema roket air layak diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran. Peneliti menyarankan pada pembelajaran IPA Terpadu guru harus pintar melakukan inovasi dalam metode dan proses penyampaian materi pembelajaran.     Dextran fouling of polyethersulfone ultrafiltration membranesâCauses, extent and consequences

    In a recent paper [Susanto, Ulbricht, J. Membr. Sci. 266 (2005) 132], we showed that dextran does foul polyethersulfone (PES) ultrafiltration (UF) membranes by contact of the solution with the membrane surface without flux through the membrane. In this work, dextran fouling was visualized using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and quantified by ATR-IR spectroscopy and by the mass balance in simultaneous diffusionâadsorption measurements (SDAM). Good correlations have been found between the water flux reduction due to dextran adsorption and the quantitative data for bound dextran on the PES membranes. Further, a pronounced effect of dextran size on adsorptive membrane fouling was identified. Contact angle and zeta potential measurements with non-porous films, where solute entrapment in pores can be ruled out, gave additional clear evidence for dextran binding on the PES surface. Complementary data for adsorption and fouling of porous membranes and non-porous films by the protein myoglobin indicated that the larger fouling tendency for protein than for dextran is due to a higher surface coverage of PES by the adsorbed biomacromolecule layer. Data for batch UF confirm the conclusions from the static contact experiments because significant fouling is observed for PES membranes (more severe for myoglobin than for dextrans), while no fouling is seen for a cellulose-based UF membrane with the same nominal cut-off.     Background Morphine is the most abundant analgesic which commonly used for post mastectomy’s pain reliever. Altough, it is potentially cause the adverse effect such as nausea and vomiting. Aim To determine the nausea and vomiting experience on patient who received morphine for post mastectomy’s pain reliever. Methods This study was descriptive observational. The patient undergoing mastectomy surgery who received morphine as post operative pain reliever at the Central of Surgery Instalation and Ward in dr. Kariadi Hospital, Semarang from July 1st to December 31st 2014. The data was taken from patient’s medical record. Results There were 40 patients received morphine as post mastectomy analgetic surgery on July 1st to December 31st 2014. After taking morphine as post mastectomy analgetic, 26 patients have had experienced PONV in 24hours. On the beginning (0 hour after surgery), 12 patient (30%) were having nausea and vomiting. On 6 hours after surgery, 17 patient (42,5%) were having nausea and vomiting. On 12 hours after surgery, 13 patient (32,5%) were having nausea and vomiting. On 24 hours after surgery, 1 patient (2,5%) were having nausea and vomiting. Conclusion It was about 65% that morphine may cause PONV effects in 24hours with PONV’s score 0 and 1.
