    Nutrición parenteral domiciliaria en España, 2019: informe del Grupo de Nutrición Artificial Domiciliaria y Ambulatoria NADYA

    RESUMEN Objetivo: comunicar los datos de nutrición parenteral domiciliaria (NPD) obtenidos del registro del grupo NADYA-SENPE (www.nadyasenpe.com) del año 2019. Material y métodos: análisis descriptivo de los datos recogidos de pacientes adultos y pediátricos con NPD en el registro NADYA-SENPE desde el 1 de enero al 31 de diciembre de 2019. Resultados: se registraron 283 pacientes (51,9 %, mujeres), 31 niños y 252 adultos procedentes de 47 hospitales españoles, lo que representa una tasa de prevalencia de 6,01 pacientes/millón de habitantes/año 2019. El diagnóstico más frecuente en los adultos fue “oncológico paliativo” y “otros” (21,0 %). En los niños fue la enfermedad de Hirschsprung junto a la enterocolitis necrotizante, las alteraciones de la motilidad intestinal y la pseudoobstrucción intestinal crónica, con 4 casos cada uno (12,9 %). El primer motivo de indicación fue el síndrome del intestino corto tanto en los niños (51,6 %) como en los adultos (37,3 %). El tipo de catéter más utilizado fue el tunelizado tanto en los niños (75,9 %) como en los adultos (40,8 %). Finalizaron 68 episodios, todos en adultos: la causa más frecuente fue el fallecimiento (54,4 %). Pasaron a la vía oral el 38,2 %. Conclusiones: el número de centros y profesionales colaboradores con el registro NADYA va incrementándose. Se mantienen estables las principales indicaciones y los motivos de finalización de la NPD

    Application d' éthéphon dans le vignoble. Effet sur la maturité des raisins et sur la qualité du vin

    Póster presentado en el 38th World Congress of Vine and Wine (OIV), celebrado en Mainz (Alemania) del 5 al 10 de julio de 2015.[EN] Ethephon is known to be a growth regulator that, when applied to the plant, it is metabolized into ethylene. In this study, it has been evaluated the use of a commercial plant growth regulator (Fruitel180, 18% w/v ethephon) with the aim to balance both grape sugar and phenolic ripeness. The tri al was peformed on Vitis vinífera L. Tempranilla red wine grapevine grown in La Rioja (north Spain). A completely randomized experimental design was set up consisting in four replicates of 40 vines per treatment. The following treatments were compared: treatment 1 (control or nonapplied vines), treatment 2 (application of 1.25 L/ha Fruitel180), and treatment 3 (application of 2.5 L/ha Fruitel180). Treatments were foliar applied at veraison (20%). Grape ripening was controlled by berry sampling once a week until harvest. During ripening, grapes from vines treated with ethephon always showed lower sugar content than those from control. Moreover, grapes from the treatments had higher anthocyanin and total polyphenol content than control grapes. However, there was not a marked difference between the two doses applied. Grapes were vinified in 100L tanks obtaining for each treatment four wines (one wine per field replicate). lt was observed that fermentation time was shorter in wines from the ethephon treatments, in particular in the case of treatment 2. This result could be explained bythe lower sugar content in grapes from the treatments in comparison with control grapes, besides the different grape composition. Wine physicochemical parameters after malolactic fermentation showed significant differences regarding alcoholic strength and volatile acidity, which were lower in wines made from grapes treated with Fruitel than in control wines, although there were not differences between the two doses. Moreover, wines from the ethephon treatments showed a certain tendency towards greater color intensity values with respect to control wines, although not statistically different. As for wine sensory properties, the application of the highest dose of ethephon increased fruity and overall wine aroma quality. However, control wine was more positively evaluated in structure, astringency and persistence, probably dueto its higher alcoholic strength.[ES] El etefón es un regulador del crecimiento, que aplicado sobre la planta, se descompone en el interior de los tejidos vegetales liberando etileno. En este trabajo se ha evaluado la utilización en campo de un producto fitorregulador del crecimiento vegetal en uva (Fruitel 180) con un contenido en etefón del 18% p/v que puede resultar beneficioso para uniformizar la maduración tecnológica y fenólica de la uva. El ensayo se realizó en una parcela de uva de la variedad Tempranilla de D.O.Ca. Rioja (España) con un diseño experimental de bloques al azar con cuatro repeticiones por tratamiento y 40 cepas por repetición. Se realizaron los siguientes tratamientos: Tratamiento 1 (Testigo, sin aplicación de Fruitel 180), tratamiento 2 (aplicación de 1.25 L/ha de Fruitel180) y tratamiento 3 (aplicación de 2.5 L/ha de Fruitel180). Los tratamientos se aplicaron mediante pulverización foliar cuando el porcentaje de envero se situó en torno al 20%. Se controló la evolución de la maduración de la uva una vez por semana hasta la vendimia, observando en todos los muestreos que las uvas procedentes de las cepas tratadas presentaron valores más bajos en el contenido en azúcares. Asimismo, tanto el contenido total de antocianas como de polifenoles, que aumentaron durante la maduración, fue significativamente mayor en las uvas tratadas, aunque no se encontraron diferencias claras entre las dosis del tratamiento. Se llevaron a cabo vinificaciones por cuadriplicado en depósitos de 100 litros, observando que tanto la fermentación alcohólica como la maloláctica fueron ligeramente más rápidas en los vinos tratados con Fruitel, especialmente con la dosis doble. Este resultado pudo ser consecuencia del menor contenido en azúcares de la uva tratada en el momento del encubado, así como de su distinta composición. Los resultados de los parámetros analíticos de los vinos después de la fermentación maloláctica mostraron diferencias significativas en el grado alcohólico y en la acidez volátil, que fueron menores en los vinos elaborados a partir de las uvas tratadas con Fruitel, sin diferencias entre dosis. Aunque sin diferencias significativas, la intensidad de color de los vinos procedentes de las uvas tratadas fue mayor. En cuanto a los atributos sensoriales, el tratamiento con la dosis más elevada del producto ensayado dio lugar a vinos mejor valorados en la fase olfativa, por su carácter más afrutado, mientras que a nivel gustativo, el vino testigo tuvo una puntuación superior en estructura, astringencia y persistencia, lo que podría estar relacionado con su mayor grado alcohólico.[FR] L'éthéphon est connu pour etre un régulateur de croissance qui, lorsqu'il est appliqué a la plante, il est métabolisé en éthylime. Dans cette étude, il a été évalué l'utilisation d'un régulateur de croissance commercial (Fruitel 180, 18% p/v éthéphon) avec l'objectif de rapprocher l'accumulation des sucres et des poliphenoles dans le raisin. L'étude a été mené a un vignoble cv Tempranilla situé a La Rioja (nord de I'Espagne). Un plan expérimental completement aléatoire a été mis en place avec quatre répétitions par traitement et 40 vignes par répétition. Les suivantes traitements ont été comparés : traitement 1 (controle, aucune demande Fruitel), traitement 2 (application de 1,25 L 1 ha Fruitel180) et traitement 3 (application de 2,5 L / ha Fruitel 180). Les traitements ont été appliqués par pulvérisation foliaire lorsque le pourcentage de veraison était d'environ 20%. L'évolution de la maturation des raisins a été suivie une fois par semaine jusqu'a la récolte. Pendant la maturation, les raisins provenant de vignes traitées avec l'étephon ont toujours montré des teneurs en sucre inférieurs a ceux de controle. En revanche, les raisins traités ont montré teneurs plus élevées d'anthocyanes et de polyphenols que les raisins controles. Cependant, aucune différence n'a été constatée entre les deux doses utilisées. Les raisins ont été vinifiés en cuves de 100 litres (quatre vins pour chaque traitement). 11 a été noté que la durée de la fermentation était plus courte dans les vins provenant des traitements avec l'éthéphon, en particulier dans le cas de traitement 2. Ce résultat pourrait etre conséquence d'une teneur en sucre inférieur dans les raisins des traitements en comparaison avec les raisins controle. Les résultats des parametres physico-chimiques des vins apres fermentation malolactique ont montré des différences significatives dans le teneur en alcool et l'acidité volatile, qui étaient plus faibles dans les vins issus de raisins traités avec Fruitel que dans le controle, sans différence entre les doses. En outre, les vins des traitements avec l'éthéphon ont montré une tendance vers une supérieure intensité de couleur, sans différence entre les doses. En ce qui concerne aux attributs sensoriels, le traitement avec la dose la plus élevée du produit a conduit a une meilleure évaluation aromatique. Toutefois, le vin controle a été préféré en structure, astringence et persistance, qui pourrait etre liée a une teneur en alcool plus élevée.Peer Reviewe

    Experiencias de Aprendizaje-Servicio en la UPM: 2021 y 2022

    La Oficina de Aprendizaje-Servicio (ApS) de la UPM, constituida en sesión del Consejo de Gobierno de diciembre de 2019 tiene, como misión fundamental, promover en el ámbito de las enseñanzas de esta universidad la metodología ApS. Con esta finalidad se vienen realizando convocatorias de proyectos de impacto social alineados con los ODS como un mecanismo más para la contribución a la Agenda 2030, y se colabora intensamente con las diversas oficinas constituidas con el mismo objetivo en otras universidades. Nuestra oficina pretende impulsar progresivamente la colaboración con entidades ajenas a la UPM, y atender demandas y necesidades sociales en las que nuestros estudiantes y profesores brinden sus conocimientos para la construcción de una mejor y más justa sociedad. Con este propósito, se han puesto en marcha numerosas iniciativas y colaboraciones con Ayuntamientos, Asociaciones, ONG, Fundaciones y centros de enseñanza, con el fin común de plantear mejoras y trabajar con entornos desfavorecidos, y colectivos vulnerables de nuestro entorno. Cabe destacar la muy positiva acogida que, progresivamente se está logrando, en lo relativo a la diseminación de estas iniciativas en el ámbito de la UPM, viéndose incrementada la participación e interés de nuestros docentes y estudiantes en los llamamientos que se realizan desde la oficina. Desde la constitución de la oficina, son ya más de 100 actividades desarrolladas con la participación de más de 500 profesores. Uno de los compromisos de la Oficina ApS de la UPM es dar visibilidad por su carácter meritorio a las experiencias realizadas por el profesorado y los estudiantes de nuestra universidad y, es por ello, que nos complace la presentación de esta primera edición del ebook, en el que se recogen algunas de las experiencias realizadas en nuestra universidad y que confiamos ampliar periódicamente con futuras ediciones.     Aim: to present the results of the Spanish home enteral nutrition (HEN) registry of the NADYA-SENPE group for the years 2018 and 2019. Material and methods: from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2019 the home enteral nutrition registry was recorded, and afterwards a further descriptive and analytical analysis was done. Results: in 2018, 4756 active patients were registered and the prevalence was 101.79 patients per one million inhabitants; in 2019 there were 4633 patients with a prevalence of 98.51 patients per one million inhabitants. They originated in 46 hospitals: 51.3 % were male, and median age was 71.0 years in both periods. The most frequent diagnosis was a neurological disorder that presents with aphagia or severe dysphagia - 58.7 % and 58.2 %, respectively. The main cause of episode termination was death. A total of 116 pediatric patients were registered in 2018 and 115 in 2019. Females represented 57.8 % and 59.1 %, respectively, in each of the periods. Median age at the beginning of HEN was 5 and 7 months. The most commonly recordered diagnostic group (42.2 % and 42.6 %) was included within the other pathologies group, followed by neurological disorders that present with aphagia or severe dysphagia in 41.4 % and 41.7 % of children. The route of administration was gastrostomy in 46.6 % and 46.1 %, respectively, in each of the periods. Conclusions: the NED registry of the NADYA-SENPE group continues to operate uninterruptedly since its inception. The number of registered patients and the number of participating hospitals remained stable in the last biennium analyzed
