Visor++ : a software visualisation tool for task-parallel object-orientated programs

This thesis describes Visor++, a tool for visualising programs written in CC++, a task-parallel, object-orientated language derived from C++. Visor++ provides a framework of visualising task-parallel object-orientated programs in the absence of language support for visualisation, i.e. for programs such as CC++ which are written in languages which are not "visualisation-conscious". AbstractIn Academic Year 2012/2013 FTIK provide TEK 2020 Introduction to Accounting course to its students . Accounting course is a new thing for students , these course is expected become useful for graduates in order to work at the company. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the students’ perceptions of accounting .This study uses descriptive method where information collected through the use of questionnaires with a Likert scale refers to the scale of 1-5 and distributed online using the “ Google Form “ . The population in this study were63 respondents whose all students of FTIK Academic Year 2012/2013 which took Introduction to Accounting course.The results showed that students’ perceptions of motivation to become an accountant is not too big but they tend to like accounting because accounting interesting and was happy when her family members become accountants . Student perceptions of the accountant’s job looks less attractive , they consider accountant job was boring , because working alone , huddled numbers so just got a little satisfaction but they tend to disagree when people say that accountants are boring and realized many professional accountants interact with people . student perceptions about the awards on the accounting profession is quite high and the accounting profession considers honorable, but still below other professions.Keywords : Accounting, Student Perception86

Pemanfaatan Aplikasi E-Marketing pada PT Jeah untuk Memenangkan Persaingan Usaha

The purpose of this research is to design a system that could give information to customers about the provided product and also as the order media. The research method used is based on the principle of The Seven Stages of Internet Marketing to create e-marketing application, also library research, field research, analysis and designing methodology by doing survey to PT JEAH and analyzing the result. So far, the transaction process of PT JEAH is done through manual that is customer came to the store to do purchase transaction. After the e-marketing application is done, it is hoped that could give better service to customers. E-marketing concept in this system will increase efficiency and affectivity especially into order process and product information to community. Based on the research, it is concluded that with this e-marketing application as the center information and purchase media, it is hoped that the company could get loyalty from the customers and gather new market in online users

Identification of the Snail Oncomelania hupensis Lindoensis as Schistotomiasi Host Using CNN

Schistosomiasis is declared by the World Health Organization as a neglected tropical disease. In Indonesia, schistosomiasis is endemic in three regions of Central Sulawesi. In 2022, the schistosomiasis prevalence rate in humans was 1.44%, far from the government's target of 0% prevalence in humans, snails, and mammals by 2025. The role of technology is to identify O.hupensis Lindoensis snails as schistosomiasis hosts among snails in schistosomiasis endemic areas. This system can make it easier for people to recognize O.hupensis Lindoensis snails and can speed up the identification process and reduce survey costs for officers. The identification system is made with digital image processing techniques using the CNN algorithm with Mobile Net architecture. Model updating in the form of 4 classes with 1200 image data. The results of training accuracy of 93% and validation accuracy of 87% were obtained. The training loss function is 0.17, and the validation loss is 0.3

Pelatihan Guru untuk Tantangan Bebras 2022 di Biro Bebras Universitas Kristen Maranatha

Tantangan Bebras merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang memperkenalkan computational thinking dan informatika kepada siswa sekolah. Bebras Indonesia melalui setiap mitra biro Bebras di seluruh Indonesia menyelenggarakan Tantangan Bebras setiap tahunnya yaitu pada minggu kedua bulan November. Biro Bebras Maranatha juga mempersiapkan guru-guru yang berada di bawah naungan Biro Bebras Maranatha dalam kegiatan pelatihan pada 7 Oktober 2022 secara hybrid dan technical meeting pada 28 Oktober 2022. Pelatihan untuk tahun 2022 dimulai dengan kuis soal-soal Bebras yang diambil dari soal-soal dalam Tantangan Bebras tahun-tahun sebelumnya untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman guru dalam computational thinking. Kegiatan pelatihan dilanjutkan dengan pembahasan soal kuis melalui diskusi, penyampaian konsep computational thinking, serta pendaftaran dan persiapan siswa untuk Tantangan Bebras 2022. Pada akhir sesi pelatihan, guru-guru peserta mengisi kuesioner untuk mengetahui sejauh mana persiapan yang sudah dilakukan untuk Tantangan Bebras 2022. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan secara hybrid diikuti oleh 52 guru perwakilan sekolah. Dari 52 guru yang mengikuti kuis, nilai kuis berkisar antara 0 sampai 80 di mana rata-rata nilai adalah 35. Sebanyak 79% dari guru-guru yang mengikuti pelatihan ini sudah pernah mengikuti workshop Bebras di tahun-tahun sebelumnya dan 69% dari total guru tersebut telah memanfaatkan soal Bebras untuk pembelajaran di kelas. Selama proses pembekalan Tantangan Bebras, terdapat tiga tantangan terbesar yang dihadapi yaitu kemampuan berpikir siswa, persiapan guru untuk pembekalan, dan melatih siswa dalam membaca soal

Changes in the total leukocyte and platelet counts in Papuan and non Papuan adults from northeast Papua infected with acute Plasmodium vivax or uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria

<p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>There are limited data on the evolution of the leukocyte and platelet counts in malaria patients.</p> <p>Methods</p> <p>In a clinical trial of chloroquine vs. chloroquine plus doxycycline vs. doxycycline alone against <it>Plasmodium vivax </it>(n = 64) or <it>Plasmodium falciparum </it>(n = 98) malaria, the total white cell (WCC) and platelet (PLT) counts were measured on Days 0, 3, 7 and 28 in 57 indigenous Papuans with life long malaria exposure and 105 non Papuan immigrants from other parts of Indonesia with limited malaria exposure.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>The mean Day 0 WCC (n = 152) was 6.492 (range 2.1–13.4) × 10⁹/L and was significantly lower in the Papuans compared to the non Papuans: 5.77 × 10⁹/L vs. 6.86 × 10⁹/L, difference = -1.09 [(95% CI -0.42 to -1.79 × 10⁹/L), P = 0.0018]. 14 (9.2%) and 9 (5.9%) patients had leukopaenia (<4.0 × 10⁹/L) and leukocytosis (>10.0 × 10⁹/L), respectively. By Day 28, the mean WCC increased significantly (P = 0.0003) from 6.37 to 7.47 × 10⁹/L (73 paired values) and was similar between the two groups. Ethnicity was the only WCC explanatory factor and only on Day 0.</p> <p>The mean Day 0 platelet count (n = 151) was 113.0 (range 8.0–313.0) × 10⁹/L and rose significantly to 186.308 × 10⁹/L by Day 28 (P < 0.0001). There was a corresponding fall in patient proportions with thrombocytopaenia (<150 × 10⁹/L): 119/151 (78.81%) vs. 16/73 (21.92%, P < 0.00001). Papuan and non Papuan mean platelet counts were similar at all time points. Only malaria species on Day 0 was a significant platelet count explanatory factor. The mean D0 platelet counts were significantly lower (P = 0.025) in vivax (102.022 × 10⁹/L) vs. falciparum (122.125 × 10⁹/L) patients.</p> <p>Conclusion</p> <p>Changes in leukocytes and platelets were consistent with other malaria studies. The Papuan non Papuan difference in the mean Day 0 WCC was small but might be related to the difference in malaria exposure.</p
