ANALYSIS OF SEQUENCE POLYMORPHISM OF SCR CLASS I AND II ALLELES AND STUDY REGULATION OF THEIR EXPRESSION

Self-incompatibility (AI) is a widespread mechanism used by flowering plants to prevent inbreeding depression and helps create and maintain genetic diversity within a species. Oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) and especially its modern varieties are characterized by high level of self-fertility. In an effort to increase the production current breeding is focused on the production of inbred lines for making the F1 hybrids and the self-incompatibility can be an interesting tool for production self- sterile lines. In Brassica napus, we found two recessive alleles of a gene SCR II. Different expression of both alleles does not correspond to phenotypic manifestation of self-incompatibility and we can assume that it is prevailed by repressor gene that does not lie on the S-locus. This is also reason, why the SCR gene cannot serve as a molecular marker of self-incompatibility in Brassica napus, although many authors believe that this gene is essential in AI reaction. Brassica napus belong to plants with complex genetic constitution, is composed by two genomes, A and C, which give the possibility of different interactions and makes it difficult to study compared with diploid B. rapa and B. oleracea. In further study it is therefore important to focus on the interactions between genes SCR, SRK and SLG, and their influence on others, such as supressor gene systems

This thesis focuses on the diversity of weed vegetation and possibilities of its evaluati-on. The survey was carried out on fields of Mendel Univesity in Žabčice. Species di-versity was determined in the growth of opium poppy in 2013 and spring barley in 2014. Index of diversity were calculated according to the collected data. Spatial preference of individual weed species was designed by statistical analysis DCA (Detrended Corre-spondence Analysis) and RDA (Redundancy Analysis), processed on the basis of obtai-ned results. A total amount of 27 species was identified in opium poppy and 24 weed species were determined in spring barley. However, the vegetation consisted mostly by individuals of dominant species Echinochloa crus-galli, Chemopodium album and Lamium amplexicaule, in both monitored areas. It was found, that higher species richness are monitored on the edges of the fields, than their midpoints. Diversity of opium poppy was 0.17 and 0.36 of spring barely on experimental fields

(v AJ) Through the bachelor thesis I open the issue of dental literacy for non-medical health workers. The World Health Organization points out the importance of high health literacy and health education. Therefore, I decided to elaborate the final work on this topic and thus find out the level of dental literacy at various clinics. The theoretical part describes health literacy, anatomy and pathology of oral cavity and current knowledge of literacy in dentistry. The basis for the work I drew mainly on the basis of the research in the National Medical Library. From the catalog of the National Medical Library Medvik, the BMC database (Bibliographia medica čechoslovaca), the specialized databases CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) and MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online), from a personal source of professional literature, expert consultation with dental doctors and dental hygienists, own experience and other bachelor theses. The aim of this work is to create an information leaflet to address health professionals in the field of care. Methods: The work was elaborated on the basis of quantitative research by means of anonymous non-standardized questionnaire in printed form. The target group was non-medical health professionals. Objective: The..

Specific Tools for the Assessment of Cognitive Functions in Addictology Clients from the Perspective of an Occupational Therapist

Praktická část je zaměřena na aplikovatelnost a využitelnost přeloženého anglického kognitivního testu Brief Executive function Assessment Tool - BEAT.ObhájenoThe bachelor thesis is focused on the possibilities of cognitive testing of clients with a history of addiction, which could be useful in occupational therapy. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part, there is detailed description of the term addiction in general, particularly what is the meaning of this term and various distributions are in this part presented as well. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the effects of various addictive substances on cognitive functions and presents the possibilities of rehabilitation of damaged areas of cognitive functions. The conclusion of the theoretical part is focused on evaluation of cognitive functions from the point of view of occupational therapy with examples of screening tools developed directly for the addictology population. The practical part is focused on the applicability and usability of the translated English cognitive test named Brief Executive function Assessment Tool - BEAT

This bachelor work is focus on distinction between man and robot in web aplication at current operation in web aplication, like is for example insertion new report in discussion forum. Main idea and so practical part are create a test for identification man and robot on Turing test established and subsequent data analysis.Ústav systémového inženýrství a informatikyDokončená práce s úspěšnou obhajobo

    Contemporary Cultural Diplomacy of France

    No full text
This thesis deals with the contemporary French cultural diplomacy. Its aim is to determine what are the factors shaping this area of French foreign policy to its current form and what amount of resources is the state dedicating to its soft power. For a better understanding of this issue the first chapter explains the concepts of public and cultural diplomacy, the issue of culture and its role in international relations and also the method of financing French cultural diplomacy. The thesis further analyses the activities of the French Institute in Prague as the most prominent cultural institution operating in the Czech Republic and Cinema 35 as its constituent part. Apart from such examples, also other instruments of French cultural diplomacy, such as the French Alliance, the French Research Center in Humanities and Social Sciences, Campus France and the French audiovisual policy are contributing to define the current form of French cultural diplomacy, and are therefore dealt with in the last chapter of this thesis
