Framework to Avoid Similarity Attack in Big Streaming Dat
The existing methods for privacy preservation are available in variety of fields like social media, stock market, sentiment analysis, electronic health applications. The electronic health dynamic stream data is available in large quantity. Such large volume stream data is processed using delay free anonymization framework. Scalable privacy preserving techniques are required to satisfy the needs of processing large dynamic stream data. In this paper privacy preserving technique which can avoid similarity attack in big streaming data is proposed in distributed environment. It can process the data in parallel to reduce the anonymization delay. In this paper the replacement technique is used for avoiding similarity attack. An Enhanced Image retrieval Technique based on Edge-Orientation Technique
With the tremendous development in Networking and Multimedia technologies, Image Retrieval plays significant roleand is used for browsing, searching and retrieving images from a large database of digital images. Image Retrieval techniques utilize annotation methods of adding metadata such as captioning, keywords or descriptions to the images. The manual image annotation is much time consuming laborious and expensive.As the data bases size increases, annotation becomes a tedious task. Thus automatic image annotationhas drawn the attention of the researchers in recent years.. The increase in social web application and the semantic web drawn attention of researchers in  the development of several web-based image retrieval tools. This paper presents an easy, efficient image retrieval approach using a new image feature descriptor called Micro-Structure Descriptor (MSD). The microstructures are defined based on an edge orientation similarly while the MSD is built based on the underlying colors in micro-structures with similar edge orientation.In this method of Image retrieval the MSD extracts features by simulating human’s early visual processing by effectively integrating color, texture, color lay out information and shape. The proposed MSD algorithm has high indexing performance and low dimensionalityas it has only 72 dimensions for full color images.The technique is examined on Corel datasets with natural images; the results demonstrate that this image retrieval method is much more efficient and effective than reprehensive feature descriptors, such as Gabor features and Multi Texton Histograms

PREPARATION AND EVALUATION OF SIMVASTATIN TRANSDERMAL FILM
Objective: The objective of the study was to prepare simvastatin transdermal films for the treatment of atherosclerosis and to evaluate the effect of concentration of polymer on penetration enhancement.
Methods: Solvent evaporation technique was employed for the preparation of films and the prepared films were evaluated for various physicochemical properties of films such as tensile strength, thickness, surface pH, swellability, drug content, moisture content and folding endurance. In vitro drug, release study and release kinetics were also studied.
Results: Tensile strength ranged from 3.56±0.343 to 4.56±0.12 (N/mm²). The films were of uniform weight. Thickness varied from 0.2±0.3 mm to 0.2±0.8 mm. Surface pH ranged from 6.6±0.14 to 6.9±0.16. Percentage swellability ranged from12.1±0.36 to 16.3±0.22. Percentage drug content ranged from 88.4±0.7% to 90.5±0.6% in all the formulation. Percentage moisture content ranged from 0.864 to 1.03%. Moisture uptake was from 2.6±0.24 to 2.9±0.072. The folding endurance test gave satisfactory results and F3 formulation showed maximum drug release.
Conclusion: From the study, it was concluded that out of various formulations, the F3 formulation was found to be the optimum formulation with 88% drug release at the fourteenth hour

This paper describes and analyses the various forms of the E-mail viruses via the Microsoft Word Documents and the PDF Documents. DEVELOPING A FRAMEWORK FOR SCRUTINIZING STRATEGIC GREEN ORIENTATION AND ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE WITH RELEVANCE TO THE SUSTAINABILITY OF TOURISM INDUSTRY
The purpose of this paper is to review the concept of sustainability, theoretical background and strategic green orientation (SGO) to develop an in-depth understands for the benefit of organizational performance (OP). Theoretical background outlines how triple bottom line and ecological modernization viewpoints relate with SGO and OP towards the sustainability to develop a research framework. The paper discloses a series of gaps in sustainability related theories and empirical research at business organizations and recommends a quantitative research approach and method for an empirical study on SGO of business organizations in tourism industry of Sri Lanka. Proposed study expects that new relationships could be discovered and theorized. This may address identified research gaps and would contribute to the body of knowledge. The findings of proposed research could be useful to future research initiatives on green business modeling for the sustainability in terms of triple bottom line: economic, environmental, and social performance. Article visualizations
Knowledge, attitude and practice of foot care in diabetes patients with foot at risk attending diabetology department of a tertiary care hospital
Background: The current study was undertaken to assess the knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) of foot care among diabetes patients with foot at risk, to evaluate the impact of counselling in terms of KAP score, VPT (vibration perception threshold) value, foot examination status and other clinical parameter, to assess the severity of peripheral neuropathy in diabetes patients based on VPT value and to assess the prevalence of peripheral neuropathy among men and women.Methods: A prospective cross-sectional and interventional study was conducted in the diabetology department of a tertiary care hospital in South India. A total of 100 diabetes patients with foot at risk were selected for the study. A questionnaire was used to assess the knowledge, attitude and practice of foot care among diabetes patients with foot at risk. The questionnaire consists of total 24 questions. Their knowledge, attitude and practice were classified as good, satisfactory and poor depending upon the score. For the KAP, if score is ≥70% it was regarded as good, 50-69% as satisfactory and <50% as poor.Results: The study assessed that among 100 patients, 6% of the participants had good knowledge before counselling and after counselling, 46% had satisfactory level of knowledge and 43% had good knowledge. Most of the patients had a good attitude towards foot care before and after counselling. Only 1% of patients were in good practice before counselling and after counselling 62% of the patients had satisfactory practice and 25% had good practice. The study revealed that about 53% had a VPT value of 26-50 V before providing counselling and after counselling about 43% of the participants VPT became 26-50 V. The study also showed that the prevalence of peripheral neuropathy according to VPT value is more in males than females.Conclusions: Poor knowledge and poor practice were observed among the diabetes patients with foot at risk who had attended the diabetology department. Poor knowledge and practice are the major reason for the amputation of limb as the people are unaware of their foot care. Thus, by providing proper education regarding foot care, the foot complications can be improved and there by the amputation rate can be reduced to an extent
Design and Fabrication of Garlic Peeler
Garlic is an important and economical plant. It has many uses in medicinal, culinary and ayurvedic purposes. Garlic peeling is a tedious, time consuming and laborious work. So far, traditional peeling methods are used for garlic peeling. These methods are observed to be unhygienic, laborious and caused high damage to garlic segments. Mechanical peelers available are costly and not affordable to small scale industries. Since, the traditional methods are laborious and mechanical methods are costly there is a need to develop low cost, mechanical peeler that will reduce the drudgery.
Angular iron and flat iron was used for main frame and supporting the main units. A food grade rubber and mild steel pipe was used for rubber roller. Iron bar was used for shaft. A wire mesh was used as screen. Dimensions of garlic segments were measured using digital vernier callipers and weight of each garlic segment was measured using electronic balance. Moisture content, orthogonal dimensions, weight, geometric mean diameter, sphericity, equivalent mean diameter, shape factor, terminal velocity and drag coefficient of garlic segments were found.
Moisture content of garlic segments was 59.36±0.87% (w.b). At this moisture content, average length, width and thickness of garlic segments were found to be 25.818 3.743 mm, 10.116 2.209 mm and 7.34 1.638 mm, respectively. Average weight of individual garlic segments were found to be 1.159 g. Geometric mean diameter, sphericity, equivalent mean diameter and shape factor of garlic segments were found out to be 12.422 mm, 0.481, 13.03 mm and 0.218, respectively. The terminal velocity and drag coefficient were 18.941 m/s and 0.416 at moisture content of 59.08 ± 0.82% (w.b.). Cost of peeler was estimated to be about ₹ 10,005/-
Impact of COVID-19 pandemic on postpartum contraception services in women delivering at a tertiary care centre in South India
Background: Contraception and sexual health are a fundamental human right and an integral part of women’s health services. Postpartum period is the unique opportunity for counselling and availing contraception. COVID-19 pandemic hindered routine and special services like postpartum clinics has negative impact on family planning services. Objectives were to assess the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on postpartum contraceptive care services received and to describe the challenges faced in availing these services among pregnant women delivering at a tertiary care centre in South India.Methods: A descriptive study carried out in 422 women who had delivered at our hospital from July 2020 to October 2020. Data was collected in Epicollect version 5 and analysed using Stata version 14.2.Results: A total of 422 women were interviewed. Only one-third of the participants received contraceptive counselling in the antenatal period compared to 90% postpartum. 39% (primiparous-34%/multiparous-5%) had adopted barrier methods followed by post-partum intrauterine uterine contraceptive devices in 33% (primiparous-19.6%/multiparous-13.4%) and 5% had sterilisation concurrent with caesarean section. Around 30-40% of women faced challenges in accessing the family planning methods due to closure of elective services like postpartum clinics, operation theatres, nationwide lockdown, and non-availability of field health workers.Conclusions: Contraceptive choices for postpartum women appear to be largely restricted to temporary methods with additional challenges of availing these services during the pandemic. With the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and continuous need for contraception, there is a need to refocus and motivate eligible couples for long-acting reversible contraceptive methods (LARC) with significantly lower failure rates
