    This paper aims to discuss the analysis of the economic value of the basic food arisan system for wedding costs in Seko Besar Village, Pauh District, Sarolangun Jambi Regency. The data techniques in this study used observation, interview and documentation techniques, while for data analysis the researchers used descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the research are as follows: the implementation of basic food arisan for wedding expenses is done to reduce the economic needs of the community and is carried out according to the needs of the members who will hold a wedding party. The basic food arisan is carried out in consultation with the members and carried out in a family manner, in order to meet the needs of the wedding costs. The impact of the basic food arisan can ease the burden on the economic needs of arisan members and strengthen family relationships because of the elements of mutual help and friendship. Analysis of the economic value of the basic food arisan system for wedding expenses that has absolutely no elements of usury, gambling, fraud, extortion or chance and has met the criteria that allow arisan in Islamic economics

    Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang: analisis nilai ekonomi sistem arisan sembako untuk biaya pernikahan di Desa Seko Besar Kecamatan Pauh Kabupaten Sarolangun Jambi. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, sedangkan untuk analisis data peneliti menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: pelaksanaan arisan sembako untuk biaya pernikahan di Desa Seko Besar Kecamatan Pauh Kabupaten Sarolangun Jambi dilakukan untuk mengrangi kebutuhan ekonomi masyarakat dan dilaksanakan sesuai dengan kebutuhan anggota yang akan mengadakan pesta pernikahan. Pelaksanaan arisan sembako dilakukan dengan musyawarah bersama antara anggota dan dilakukan secara kekeluargaaan, guna untuk mencukupi kebutuhan biaya pernikahan. Dampak arisan sembako untuk biaya pernikahan di Desa Seko Besar Kecamatan Pauh Kabupaten Sarolangun Jambi dapat dilihat dari kegiatan arisan dapat meringankan beban kebutuhan ekonomi masyarakat (anggota arisan) dan kegatan arisan juga dapat mempererat hubungan kekeluargaan karena kegiatan arisan dutamakan untuk saling tolong menolong dan menjaga tali silaturahmi.Analisis nilai ekonomi sistem arisan sembako untuk biaya pernikahan yang dilaksanakan di Desa Seko Besar Kecamatan Pauh Kabupaten Sarolangun Jambi dimana arisan sama sekali tidak ada unsur riba, judi, penipuan, pemerasan atau untung-untungan dan telah memenuhi kriteria yang memperbolehkan arisan dalam ekonomi Islam

    Bioequivalence evaluation of new microparticulate capsule and marketed tablet dosage forms of lornoxicam in healthy volunteers

    Purpose: To compare oral bioavailability and pharmacokinetic parameters of different lornoxicam formulations and to assess similarity in plasma level profiles by statistical techniques.Methods: An open-label, two-period crossover trial was followed in 24 healthy Pakistani volunteers (22 males, 2 females). Each participant received a single dose of lornoxicam controlled release (CR) microparticles and two doses (morning and evening) of conventional lornoxicam immediate release (IR) tablet formulation. The microparticles were prepared by spray drying method. The formulations were administered again in an alternate manner after a washout period of one week. Pharmacokinetic parameters were determined by Kinetica 4.0 software using plasma concentration-time data. Moreover, data were statistically analyzed at 90 % confidence interval (CI) and Schuirmann’s two one-sided t-test procedure.Results: Peak plasma concentration (Cmax) was 20.2 % lower for CR formulation compared to IR formulation (270.90 ng/ml vs 339.44 ng/ml, respectively) while time taken to attain Cmax (tmax) was 5.25 and 2.08 h, respectively. Area under the plasma drug level versus time (AUC) curve was comparable for both CR and IR formulations. The 90 % confidence interval (CI) values computed for Cmax, AUC0-24, and AUC0- , after log transformation, were 87.21, 108.51 and 102.74 %, respectively, and were within predefined bioequivalence range (80 - 125 %).Conclusion: The findings suggest that CR formulation of lornoxicam did not change the overall pharmacokinetic properties of lornoxicam in terms of extent and rate of lornoxicam absorption.Keywords: Analgesic, Microparticles, Controlled release, Lornoxicam, NSAIDs, Pharmacokinetic

    Measurement of cell membrane thermo-stability and leaf temperature for heat tolerance in maize (Zea mays L): Genotypic variability and inheritance pattern

    The rise in ambient temperature is intimidating sustainability of maize productions worldwide. To overcome heat stress effects, identification of potential genotypes and knowledge of inheritance pattern is necessary for developing thermo-tolerant cultivars. This investigation, consisted of four experiments, was conducted for assess- ing genetic variation followed by developing and evaluating breeding material in non-stressed and heat-stressed environments. The first experiment concerning reproductive stage heat tolerance comprised one hundred maize inbred lines, was conducted at mean day/night temperatures of 33°C/19°C (field) and 40°C/23°C (plastic tunnel), respectively. Variance analysis of absolute and relative data for leaf temperature and cell membrane thermo- stability revealed statistically significant (P ≤ 0.01) genotypic variations. In second and third experiments, one heat tolerant (ZL-11271) and one susceptible (R-2304-2) lines were selected and crossed in a generation mean fashion to develop non-segregating (P , P , F ) and segregating (BC , BC , F ) plant populations. The fourth experiment involved appraisal of six basic generations in a factorial randomized complete block design replicated thrice with mean day/night temperatures of 33°C/20°C and 39°C/24°C. Data on leaf temperature and cell membrane thermo- stability recorded at reproductive phase were analyzed in a nested block design which suggested involvement of digenic epistatic interactions in controlling inheritance of both these traits. Generation variance analysis, however, revealed predominance of additive genes supported by higher estimates [> 60%] of broad sense and narrow sense heritability (F and F ). Future progress in plummeting leaf temperature and cell membrane thermo-stability of plant material is achievable through hybridization and rigorous selections in succeeding generations

    Line Ă— Tester analysis for morpho-physiological traits of Zea mays L seedlings

    Background:  Zea mays L. is one of the most imperative cereal crop in world after wheat and rice. It is a used as food for human and feed for livestock. To meet the ever increasing demand, maize production can be increased by application of improved agronomic techniques to get varieties with higher qualitative and quantitative traits and resilience to abiotic stresses.Methods: The genetic material was comprised of 8 parents and 12 F1 hybrids. The genotypes were sown in the iron treys filled with sand in three replications following completely randomized design. The data was recorded for fresh root length (FRL), fresh shoot length (FSL), fresh root-to-shoot length ratio (FRSLR), fresh root weight (FRW), fresh shoot weight (FSW), total fresh weight (TFW), fresh root-to-shoot weight ratio (FRSWR), dry root weight (DRW), dry shoot weight (DSW) and total dry weight (TDW), dry root-to-shoot weight ratio (DRSWR), chlorophyll contents (Ch.C), leaf temperature (LT), transpiration rate (E), photosynthetic rate (A), stomata conductance (gs), water use efficiency (WUS) and sub-stomata CO2 concentration (Ci). GCA (general combining ability) and SCA (specific combining ability) were calculated by using Kepmthorn, (1957) technique.  Results: Higher GCA of B-336 variety was recorded for FRL, FRW, FSW, TFW, A and Ci. Higher SCA of EV-1097Q × Pop/209, Sh-139 × Pop/209, EV-1097Q × B-316 and Sh-139 × B-316 varieties was recorded for FRL, FSL, FRW, FSW, TFW, A, Ci, WUE, LT, E and gs.Conclusion: Higher heritability, genetic advance, GCA and SCA had decisive role in selection of drought tolerant maize varieties. F1 hybrids EV-1097Q × Pop/209, Sh-139 × Pop/209, EV-1097Q × B-316 and Sh-139 × B-316 showed higher SCA for all traits that persuaded that these hybrids may be used for higher grain and fodder yield under drought conditions.

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pelayanan, Bagi Hasil, dan Produk Tabungan Mudharabah secara parsial dan secara simultan terhadap Minat Nasabah Menabung di Bank Syariah Mandiri Cab.Jelutung Kota Jambi. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Validitas, Uji Reliabilitas, Uji Asumsi Klasik Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda, Uji T, Uji F dan Analisis Koefisien Determinasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan persamaan regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui hubungan itu positif atau negatif dilihat dari Pengaruh Pelayanan, Bagi Hasil, dan Produk Tabungan Mudharabah terhadap Minat Nasabah Menabung adalah Y= 2.759 + 0,336(X1) + 0,526(X2) + 0,48(X3) + e. Hasil Uji T Secara parsial Pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Minat Nasabah Menabung dikarenakan nilai thitung > ttabel (4,365>1,984) dan nilai signifikan yang dihasilkan (0,000 ttabel (4,951 > 1,984) dan nilai signifikan yang dihasilkan (0,000 ttabel (2,050 > 1,984) dan nilai signifikan yang dihasilkan (0,004 ftabel atau 1540,599 > 2,70, nilai signifikan yang dihasilkan 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Nilai koefisien determinasi adalah 0,980. berarti besarnya Pengaruh Pelayanan, Bagi Hasil, dan Produk Tabungan Mudharabah terhadap Minat Nasabah Menabung di Bank Mandiri Syariah Cab. Jelutung Kota Jambi adalah 98,0% sedangkan sisanya 2,0% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya

    Impact of Training and Supervisor Support on Organizational Commitment with mediating role of Job Satisfaction

    Training and Supervisor support shows a very important role in growing organizational commitment. The purpose of this research is to give a hypothetical justification of: a) impact of supervisor support on organizational commitment, mediating part of job satisfaction for the positive connection between supervisor support and organizational commitment, b) direct impact of training on organizational commitment and job satisfaction for the positive association among training, organizational commitment too. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed. The population which is targeted for this study was employees of the textile firms in Lahore. Data were collected from 320 employees. The study uses the SPSS and Structural Equation Modelling to test the hypotheses among 320 respondents. The results indicate that there is a significant relationship between training and organizational commitment, supervisor support and organizational commitment, training and job satisfaction. Supervisor support is significantly related with job satisfaction and there is a significant relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment

Climate change presents a multifaceted challenge to global agricultural systems, exerting significant influences on productivity, crop yields, and food production. Amid these challenges, agricultural extension workers emerge as central figures bridging the chasm between technical knowledge and practical adaptation methods for farmers. This qualitative investigation draws upon a synthesis of existing research and incorporates insights from key informant interviews. By shedding light on the intricate interplay between climate change, agricultural productivity, and the pivotal function of agricultural extension workers, this research aspires to provide a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic relationships between these variables. By facilitating the adoption of climate-resilient techniques, such as cultivating drought-resistant crop varieties, implementing water-efficient irrigation methods, and promoting agroforestry, extension workers empower farmers to mitigate the severe impacts of climate change. Furthermore, extension workers play a pivotal role in bolstering farmers' adaptive capabilities and equipping them with essential skills to navigate increasingly volatile climatic conditions.
