Background: RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul is a privately-owned public hospital that has been burgeoning. Leadership held at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bantul today is a transformational leadership. While, for motivating employee, the management of the hospital strives to provide adequate and fair compensation based on employee status, class rank and tenure. Hence, the compensation system will encourage every employee to give excellent service for each patient.Methodology: The research is a quantitative analysis using cross-sectional survey method. Data is obtained by disseminating questionnaire to the population, the whole permanent employee up to 104 respondents.Result: The statistical result indicates that management\u27s policy transformational leadership and distributive justice and procedural compensation rate affect to the satisfaction of work of the nurses at RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul.Summary: Regarding to the result of the research, management\u27s policy to appreciate its employee through a good and fair compensation can significantly improve the satisfaction of work of the nurses at RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul. Moreover, the management should maintain a workable situation and pay a lot of attention to the nurses

Silicon nanoparticles with a polymer-derived carbon shell for improved lithium-ion batteries: Investigation into volume expansion, gas evolution, and particle fracture

Silicon (Si) and composites thereof, preferably with carbon (C), show favorable lithium (Li) storage properties at low potential, and thus hold promise for application as anode active materials in the energy storage area. However, the high theoretical specific capacity of Si afforded by the alloying reaction with Li involves many challenges. In this article, we report the preparation of small-size Si particles with a turbostratic carbon shell from a polymer precoated powder material. Galvanostatic charge/discharge experiments conducted on electrodes with practical loadings resulted in much improved capacity retention and kinetics for the Si/C composite particles compared to physical mixtures of pristine Si particles and carbon black, emphasizing the positive effect that the core−shell-type morphology has on the cycling performance. Using in situ differential electrochemical mass spectrometry, pressure, and acoustic emission measurements, we gain insights into the gassing behavior, the bulk volume expansion, and the mechanical degradation of the Si/C composite-containing electrodes. Taken together, our research data demonstrate that some of the problems of high-content Si anodes can be mitigated by carbon coating. Nonetheless, continuous electrolyte decomposition, particle fracture, and electrode restructuring due to the large volume changes during battery operation (here, ∼170% in the voltage range of 600−30 mV vs Li+/Li) remain as serious hurdles toward practical implementation

We study the integration operator, the differentiation operator and more general differential operators on radial Fr´echet or (LB) H¨ormander algebras of entire functions. We analyze when these operators are power bounded, hypercyclic and (uniformly) mean ergodic. This research was partially supported by MEC and FEDER Project MTM2010-15200. The research of M. J. Nuclearity of rapidly decreasing ultradifferentiable functions and time-frequency analysis

[EN] We use techniques from time-frequency analysis to show that the space S(omega )of rapidly decreasing omega-ultradifferentiable functions is nuclear for every weight function omega(t) = o(t) as t tends to infinity. Moreover, we prove that, for a sequence (M-p)(p) satisfying the classical condition (M1) of Komatsu, the space of Beurling type S-(M)p when defined with L-2 norms is nuclear exactly when condition (M2)' of Komatsu holds. We thank the reviewer very much for the careful reading of our manuscript and the comments to improve the paper. Liana communities exhibit different species composition, diversity and community structure across forest types in the Congo Basin

Lianas are poorly characterized for central African forests. We quantify variation in liana composition, diversity and community structure in different forest types in the Yangambi Man and Biosphere Reserve, Democratic Republic of Congo. These attributes of liana assemblages were examined in 12 1-ha plots, randomly demarcated within regrowth forest, old growth monodominant forest, old growth mixed forest and old growth edge forest. Using a combination of multivariate and univariate community analyses, we visualize the patterns of these liana assemblage attributes and/or test for their significant differences across forest types. The combined 12 1-ha area contains 2,638 lianas (>= 2 cm diameter) representing 105 species, 49 genera and 22 families. Liana species composition differed significantly across forest types. Taxonomic diversity was higher in old growth mixed forests compared to old growth monodominant and regrowth forests. Trait diversity was higher than expected in the regrowth forest as opposed to the rest of forest types. Similarly, the regrowth forest differed from the rest of forest types in the pattern of liana species ecological traits and diameter frequency distribution. The regrowth forest was also less densely populated in lianas and had lower liana total basal area than the rest of forest types. We speculate that the mechanism of liana competitive exclusion by dominant tree species is mainly responsible for the lower liana species diversity in monodominant compared to mixed forests. We attribute variation in liana community structure between regrowth and old growth forests mostly to short development time of size hierarchies

The Cesàro operator on Korenblum type spaces of analytic functions

[EN] The spectrum of the CesA ro operator , which is always continuous (but never compact) when acting on the classical Korenblum space and other related weighted Fr,chet or (LB) spaces of analytic functions on the open unit disc, is completely determined. It turns out that such spaces are always Schwartz but, with the exception of the Korenblum space, never nuclear. Some consequences concerning the mean ergodicity of are deduced. The research of the first two authors was partially supported by the projects MTM2013-43540-P and MTM2016-76647-P.
