    La problemática global sobre el deterioro del medio ambiente y la destrucción del hombre de los recursos ha incrementado el afán del ser humano de corregir el rumbo, aun así las medidas tomadas en el ámbito general no son suficientes, y cada vez vemos mayor escasez de los recursos es por esto que es importante implementar nuevas alternativas para los consumos de estos recursos, hoy en día el agua es tal vez el recurso natural que diariamente más utilizamos y por esto mismo debemos tomar medidas sobre el uso e indagar en nuevas maneras de utilizar el agua que el medio ambiente nos suministra, es por esto que en este artículo daremos una propuesta de cómo usar todo el potencial natural para optimizar el uso de agua en un conjunto residencial y a su vez generar ahorros importantes de recursos físicos y financieros . La necesidad de que esta solución se enfoque a los parámetros del pmbok es la misma de cualquier proyecto de enfocar las actividades al objetivo, reducir sobrecosto, dar un beneficio al trabajo que se va a realizar que en este caso es ambiental y financiero y establecer las pautas claras para llevar un control de la secuencia en la implementación de este sistema de recolección.The global problem of the deterioration of the environment and man's destruction of resources has increased the desire of human beings to correct course, yet the measures taken in the general area are not enough, and growing shortages we see resources is why it is important to implement new alternatives to the consumption of these resources, today the water is perhaps the natural resource that every day more used and therefore must itself take action on the use and investigate new ways to use the water environment provides us, which is why this article will give a proposal for how to use all the natural potential to optimize the use of water in a residential complex and in turn generate significant savings in physical and financial resources.     Group cohesion profiles in athletes: Relationships with two waves of coping and affects in competition

    The study aimed to identify group cohesion profiles in athletes and examine whether athletes from distinct profiles significantly differed in affects and coping in competition. A total of 296 competitive athletes participated in the study and completed a series of self-report questionnaires in a temporal design with different measurement points. The athletes completed the questionnaires 2 days before competition, 2 h prior to competition and 2 h after competition. Results from latent profile analysis (LPA) model revealed that three profiles were the most suitable solution: (a) Low group cohesion profile, (b) a mixed group cohesion profile and (c) a high cohesion profile. In particular, (c) athletes from the high group cohesion profile revealed lower scores in intensity of negative affects after the competition, lower precompetitive relaxation, lower precompetitive mental distancing, lower precompetitive mental distraction, lower intracompetitive relaxation, lower intracompetitive logical analysis, lower intracompetitive mental distancing, lower intracompetitive mental distraction and lower intracompetitive disengagement. As a whole, the (b) mixed group cohesion profile revealed the worst combination of the three profiles in terms of coping strategies, which may be a profile at risk of not performing in competition. Thus, it is necessary to understand group cohesion as a multivariate experience for a better comprehension of this phenomenon

    Integrated analysis of root microbiomes of soybean and wheat from agricultural fields

    Root associated bacteria are critical for plant growth and health. Understanding the composition and role of root microbiota is crucial toward agricultural practices that are less dependent on chemical fertilization, which has known negative effects on the environment and human health. Here we analyzed the root-associated microbiomes of soybean and wheat under agricultural field conditions. We took samples from 11 different production fields across a large geographic area. We used 16S rRNA pyrosequencing to explore root microbial communities and also obtained 2,007 bacterial isolates from rhizospheres, which were tested for the presence of plant growth promoting (PGP) traits in-vitro. We observed that pH and nitrate content correlated with beta diversity variability of rhizospheric bacterial communities despite the variable field conditions. We described the dominant bacterial groups associated to roots from both crops at a large geographic scale and we found that a high proportion of them (60-70%) showed more than 97% similarity to bacteria from the isolated collection. Moreover, we observed that 55% of the screened isolates presented PGP activities in vitro. These results are a significant step forward in understanding crop-associated microbiomes and suggest that new directions can be taken to promote crop growth and health by modulating root microbiomes.Fil: Rascovan, Nicolas.     Electric field induced fluid flow on microelectrodes: the effect of illumination

    The electrokinetic manipulation of particles suspended in a fluid medium is accomplished using microelectrodes that generate non-uniform fields of significant strength from low applied potentials. The high strength fields produce not only forces on the particles but also on the fluid medium used for suspension. This paper presents qualitative and semi-quantitative observations of the movement of the fluid at applied field frequencies of the order of 1MHz and higher. The importance of the illumination in generating the fluid flow is described, the flow depending on both the intensity of illumination and the applied electric field. The theory of electrothermally induced fluid flow is briefly described and compared with the experimental observations. Reasonable agreement is found between the experiments and the theory, with the light generating temperature gradients, and therefore gradients in fluid permittivity and conductivity, and the electric field responsible for the motive force

    Variabilidad de compuestos fenólicos en diferentes estadios fenológicos en dos poblaciones de Valeriana carnosa Sm. (Valerianoideae, Caprifoliaceae) en Patagonia

    En este estudio se analizó el contenido total de compuestos fenólicos en extractos de raíces y rizomas provenientes de dos poblaciones de Valeriana carnosa Sm. (Caprifoliaceae) en tres estadios fenológicos. El contenido total de fenoles se determinó sobre muestras secas, mediante el método de Folin-Ciocalteu, que varió de 3.56-11.68 mg GAE/g entre individuos. Se determinó la actividad antioxidante utilizando el radical estable 2,2-difenil-1-picrilhidrazilo (DPPH) y se observó una correlación positiva significativa entre la actividad antioxidante y el contenido total de fenoles. Identificamos tentativamente 18 compuestos fenólicos mediante HPLC-MS, principalmente ácidos fenólicos, dos de los cuales estuvieron presentes en la población Hoya en la etapa vegetativa y en la población Piltri en las etapas de floración y fructificación. Los compuestos fenólicos en órganos subterráneos de V. carnosa varían cualitativamente (entre poblaciones/estadios) y cuantitativamente a nivel intra- e inter-poblacional en diferentes estadios fenológicos. En ambas poblaciones, en promedio se registró un mayor contenido de fenoles y actividad antioxidante en las etapas de floración y fructificación.This study analysed the total content of phenolic compounds in roots and rhizomes extracts from two populations of Valeriana carnosa Sm. (Caprifoliaceae) at three phenological stages. Total phenolic content was determined through the Folin-Ciocalteu method, which ranged between individuals from 3.56 to 11.68 mg GAE/g of dry sample. Antioxidant activity was determined using the stable radical 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), which showed a significant positive correlation between antioxidant activity and total phenolic content. We tentatively identified 18 phenolic compounds by HPLC-MS, mostly phenolic acids, one of which was present only in the Hoya population at the vegetative stage and one only in the Piltri population at the flowering and fruiting stages. Phenolic compounds in subterranean organs of V. carnosa vary qualitatively (between populations/stages) and quantitatively at intra- and inter-population level at different phenological stages.
