Grothendieck categories as a bilocalization of linear sites
We prove that the 2-category Grt of Grothendieck abelian categories with
colimit preserving functors and natural transformations is a bicategory of
fractions in the sense of Pronk of the 2-category Site of linear sites with
continuous morphisms of sites and natural transformations. This result can
potentially be used to make the tensor product of Grothendieck categories from
earlier work by Lowen, Shoikhet and the author into a bi-monoidal structure on
Grt
Gabriel-Ulmer duality for topoi and its relation with site presentations
Let be a regular cardinal. We study Gabriel-Ulmer duality when one
restricts the 2-category of locally -presentable categories with
-accessible right adjoints to its locally full sub-2-category of
-presentable Grothendieck topoi with geometric -accessible
morphisms. In particular, we provide a full understanding of the locally full
sub-2-category of the 2-category of -small cocomplete categories with
-colimit preserving functors arising as the corresponding 2-category of
presentations via the restriction. We analyse the relation of these
presentations of Grothendieck topoi with site presentations and we show that
the 2-category of locally -presentable Grothendieck topoi with
geometric -accessible morphisms is a reflective sub-bicategory of the
full sub-2-category of the 2-category of sites with morphisms of sites
genearated by the weakly -ary sites in the sense of Shulman [37].Comment: 25 page
que favorece la relación entre ambos.SUMMARY -- Teaching programming concepts in the first year of
Computer Engineering needs an evaluation proposal
involving the students from day one and allows them
to receive continuous feedback.
On the course of "Data structure and algorithms" we
designed an evaluation plan based on skills, defining
specific learning objectives and relating them to the
most appropriate evaluation tools for each objective,
and thus to each skill.
Our evaluation combines three evaluation tools:
written tests, a project and a set of activities, which
drive students work throughout the entire semester.
This system aims to promote the study and active
participation. And also it increases the interaction
between teacher and student, which favours their
relationship

The Anthropomorphic Hand Assessment Protocol (AHAP)
The progress in the development of anthropomorphic hands for robotic and prosthetic applications has not been followed by a parallel development of objective methods to evaluate their performance. The need for benchmarking in grasping research has been recognized by the robotics community as an important topic. In this study we present the Anthropomorphic Hand Assessment Protocol (AHAP) to address this need by providing a measure for quantifying the grasping ability of artificial hands and comparing hand designs. To this end, the AHAP uses 25 objects from the publicly available Yale-CMU-Berkeley Object and Model Set thereby enabling replicability. It is composed of 26 postures/tasks involving grasping with the eight most relevant human grasp types and two non-grasping postures. The AHAP allows to quantify the anthropomorphism and functionality of artificial hands through a numerical Grasping Ability Score (GAS). The AHAP was tested with different hands, the first version of the hand of the humanoid robot ARMAR-6 with three different configurations resulting from attachment of pads to fingertips and palm as well as the two versions of the KIT Prosthetic Hand. The benchmark was used to demonstrate the improvements of these hands in aspects like the grasping surface, the grasp force and the finger kinematics. The reliability, consistency and responsiveness of the benchmark have been statistically analyzed, indicating that the AHAP is a powerful tool for evaluating and comparing different artificial hand designs
