The population was the fourth semester students of English Education Department in the academic year of 2014/2015, and the number of population was 126 students who were divided into three classes. The samples, which were selected by using cluster random sampling, were IIB as the experimental group and IIA as the control group. Each group consists of 42 students. Theexperimental group was treated by using Collaborative Writing Technique, while the control group wastreated by using Direct Instruction. The integration of digital technology in the school environment has led to transformative changes in classroom management, affecting both teachers and students. Teachers play a central role in this process, and research on classroom management innovations highlights various variables that influence learning outcomes. Consequently, schools must grasp the implications of adopting these innovative practices. This study employs a qualitative approach, focusing on in-depth exploration of specific scenarios related to the use of digital technology in classroom management. Interviews were conducted with school administrators, including principals, teachers, and students from secondary schools. The findings indicate that the post-COVID-19 learning environment, with the widespread use of digital technology, has significantly impacted students. The incorporation of digital tools has empowered students to manage their time effectively and actively participate in class activities. Teachers, on the other hand, have embraced digital technology for online classes and blended learning approaches, thereby enhancing students’ understanding and engagement in learning. Additionally, the evaluation processes implemented by schools have facilitated the establishment of effective learning models, resulting in the successful diffusion of innovation in classroom management. Future research could further enhance the curriculum and education system by exploring additional opportunities for utilizing digital technology in education. Keywords: diffusion of innovation, digital technology, management class

The Role of Grammarly in Assessing English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Writing

This research aimed at investigating the use of Grammarly software and in what terms it was more effective in reducing students' errors in EFL writing compared to teacher corrective feedback (indirect corrective feedback). This research used the quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. There were 40 university students from English Education Study Program of a private university in Indonesia who were selected and randomized clustered into two; experimental and control groups. The students were tested at the beginning and the end of the research. The quantitative data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The results of the research confirm that the students whose work is evaluated by using Grammarly have a significant reduction in their errors compared to those whose work is evaluated by the teacher (indirect corrective feedback). The software is shown to be more effective to reduce the errors in terms of vocabulary USAges (diction), language use (grammar), and mechanics of writing (spelling and punctuation). However, it is less effective to improve the content and organization of students' EFL writing. This research can suggest EFL/ESL teachers with an alternative assessment for students' writing that supports an autonomous learning environment

ABSTRACT Environment is one of factors of hypertension disease. Exposure of Plumbum (Pb) or lead in low level for a long-term caused clinical effects. Relationships between hypertension with high and low level blood lead as biologic indicator of recent exposure was debated. This study aimed to determine the difference proportion of hypertension in low and high level blood lead and determine pattern of association blood lead and sistolic blood pressure or diastolic blood pressure. Study conducted on 129 operators of gasoline stations (SPBU) in center of Jakarta. Sampling is done by proportional random sampling. Variables are measured include hypertension as a dependent variable and blood lead as an independent variable. Confounding variables included duration of exposure, age, history of disease, stress, overweight, and habits (smoking, alcohol intake and salt intake). Data is collected by interview with using questionairre instrument. Blood pressure was measured by digital Sphygmomanometer and blood lead analyzed with AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry)-GFA (Graphite Furnace Atomization). Data analyzed by Chi-square, T-test, Linier regression and multiple logistic regression. Result revealed that hypertensive proportion in high level of blood lead is higher than low level with differences 33% (
