Wireless Interfacing with Closed Loop Control for Seizure Prediction

    Get PDF
The primary point of epilepsy treatments is to give seizure control to the patients while taking out symptoms. Huge numbers of the confinements of current intercession systems have enhanced the specificity of mediation through on-request methodologies may survive. This article audits advance in seizure expectation and discovery, potential new treatments to give enhanced specificity, and gadgets to accomplish these closures. In particular, we talk about Wireless telemetry from embedded account gadgets to outer PC frameworks. Besides, the future remote intercession will include combinational treatment with pharmaceuticals

Applications of carbon nanotubes in energy storage devices

    Get PDF
The development of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) has contributed to the advancement in science and technology. If CNTs could be properly engineered, they can pave the way for the future development of numerous additional materials for a variety of purposes. The open and enriched chiral structure of CNTs enabled improvements in the properties and performances of other materials, when CNTs are incorporated in them. Depending on the structural and morphological requirements, CNTs have been incorporated in energy storage systems either as an additive to improve the electronic conductivity of cathode materials or as an active anode component. Furthermore, they have also been used directly as the electrode material in supercapacitors and fuel cells. Therefore, demand for CNTs is increasing due to their underlying properties and prospective applications in the energy storage research fields. Different types of CNTs are used in energy storage devices such as batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells, and other devices. This chapter focuses on the review of CNTs in various energy conversion and storage systems, how their morphology and structure affect the electrochemical capabilities and energy storage methods

    Hazardous Waste Management

Waste management is one of the vital environmental issues since last few decades. It has been noted that the generation of waste increases with increasing population, industrialization and urbanization etc. The waste management strategy includes both non-hazardous and hazardous waste management. Non-hazardous waste does not cause potential threat to environment but instead hazardous waste is the waste that poses substantial or potential threats to public health and the environment. Rapidly growing industrial sector has contributed to the generation of large quantity of hazardous waste material. Therefore, to reduce environmental hazard, proper attention is required during storage, segregation, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste, because it cannot be disposed as off in the environment. This study explains about hazardous wastes, types and management
