    Resumen Este artículo estudia la apropiación como repetición y copia. Propone un análisis del Apropiacionismo desde dos enfoques: la desviación de significados debida a cambios de temporalidad de la obra y su contexto, y la desviación generada con la aparición de la conectividad global gracias a la web 2.0, y a la materialización del Arte Digital. El artículo propone, en primer lugar, un análisis temporal de la obra After Walker Evans de Sherrie Levine, como forma de apropiación clásica derivada de la desviación contextual. En segundo, un acercamiento al mundo del Arte Digital para analizar la apropiación de la apropiación, copias de copias, como forma de remediación basada en el concepto de “Arte como bien común” y su enfoque hacia la materialización del Arte Digital.     Scoping review of the methodology of large health surveys conducted in Spain early on in the COVID-19 pandemic

But what information was collected, where, when and how, and who was the study population? Objective: To describe the methodological characteristics used in large health surveys conducted in Spain early on in the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Scoping review. Inclusion criteria: observational studies published between January 2020 and December 2021, with sample sizes of over 2,000 persons resident in Spain. Databases consulted: PubMed, CINAHL, Literatura Latinoamericana y del Caribe en CC de la Salud, Scopus, PsycINFO, Embase, Sociological Abstracts, Dialnet and Web of Science Core Collection. We analyzed the characteristics of the literature references, methodologies and information gathered in the surveys selected. Fifty five studies were included. Results: Sixty percentage of the studies included had mental health as their main topic and 75% were conducted on the general adult population. Thirteen percentage had a longitudinal design, 93% used the internet to gather information and the same percentage used non-probability sampling. Thirty percentage made some type of sampling correction to reduce coverage or non-response biases, but not selection biases. Sixty seven percentage did not state the availability of their data. Conclusions: Consistent with the extensive use of non-probability sampling without any bias correction in the extraordinary setting created by COVID-19, quality population frameworks are required so that probability and representative samples can be extracted quickly to promptly address other health crises, as well as to reduce potential coverage, non-response and particularly selection biases by utilizing reweighting techniques.     Habitat-dependent breeding biology of the Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) across a continuous and heterogeneous Mediterranean woodland

JLRS and EP were funded by Erasmus+ grants from the EU.Mediterranean woodland environments are characterised by high spatial and temporal heterogeneity, which means the inhabiting species face a wide variety of selective pressures. Species may respond differently to habitat heterogeneity and so distinct eco-evolutionary scenarios may be responsible for the inter-habitat variability in reproductive strategies observed in certain species. The inter-forest variability of some reproductive traits in passerines has been examined by comparing forest patches or separated fragments. However, there is still little information regarding how such highly mobile animals adjust their breeding performance across continuous and heterogeneous woodlands. Here we studied the reproductive performance of a population of Blue Tits (Cyanistes caeruleus) in an area of continuous Mediterranean woodland that included two mountain slopes and four different types of forest, ranging from deciduous oak forests to perennial non-oak forests. We studied the habitat hetero-geneity and inter-forest phenotypic variation in terms of reproductive performance and adult and nestling biometry, besides also exploring the effects of ectoparasites on Blue Tit reproduction. Eggs were laid earliest in deciduous Pyrenean Oak (Quercus pyrenaica) forests, while clutch size and the number of fledglings were highest in the humid Pyrenean Oak forest, which had the greatest tree coverage and most humid climate, and lowest in the coniferous Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) forest. There were no inter-forest differences in hatching (percentage of nests with at least one egg hatched) and fledging (percentage of nests in which at least one nestling fledged) success. Similarly, there were no inter-forest differences in adult and nestling biometry, but adults that raised more fledglings had a lower body mass, while males whose females laid larger clutches had smaller tarsi. Most ectoparasites did not affect Blue Tit reproduction, although Culicoides had a negative impact on nestling body mass. These results suggest that Blue Tits can adjust their reproductive effort to the forest where they breed even across a very small spatial scale.     Applying the theory of constraints to the logistics service of medical records of a hospital

    Management of patient records in a hospital is of major importance, for its impact both on the quality of care and on the associated costs. Since this process is circular, the prevention of the building up of bottlenecks is especially important. Thus, the objective of this paper was to analyze whether the Theory of Constraints (TOC) can be useful to the logistics of medical records in hospitals. The paper is based on a case study conducted about the 2007-2011 period in the Medical Records Logistics Service at the Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena in Seville (Spain). From April 2008, a set of actions in the clinical record logistics system were implemented based on the application of TOC principles. The results obtained show a significant increase in the level of service and employee productivity, as well as a reduction of cost and the number of patients’ complaints

    Investigamos en este artículo la relación entre caminar y dibujar como acciones que presentan múltiples afinidades porque revelan nuestra con-dición existencial espacio-temporal. También nos hacen percatarnos de que vivir es transitar, reco-rrer un camino y dejar una huella. Desde el dibujo como gesto, huella personal y testigo de nuestra interrelación con el ecosistema en el que vivimos, a las caminatas de los Walking-artists donde el gesto se hace dibujo, caminar y dibujar se muestran como actividades impulsadas por un mismo afán de ampliar el horizonte y aprehender nuevos territo-rios tanto físicos como conceptuales. Ambas ponen el cuerpo en movimiento y nos llevan a la toma de conciencia de nuestra unicidad existencial. Son ges-to, recorrido, trayectoria y también conquista, toma de posesión, delimitación. El resultado en ambas crea una línea. Caminar y dibujar son acciones que, al aumentar nuestra conciencia del aquí y ahora y del entorno, pueden llegar a transformar nuestra reflexión estética, ofreciendo un espacio privile-giado para la formación de un pensamiento crítico capaz de dar respuestas éticas y de producir un significativo cambio social, especialmente en esta época de crisis climática

    Using LEL and scenarios to derive mathematical programming models. Application in a fresh tomato packing problem

    [EN] Mathematical programming models are invaluable tools at decision making, assisting managers to uncover otherwise unattainable means to optimize their processes. However, the value they provide is only as good as their capacity to capture the process domain. This information can only be obtained from stakeholders, i.e., clients or users, who can hardly communicate the requirements clearly and completely. Besides, existing conceptual models of mathematical programming models are not standardized, nor is the process of deriving the mathematical programming model from the concept model, which remains ad hoc. In this paper, we propose an agile methodology to construct mathematical programming models based on two techniques from requirements engineering that have been proven effective at requirements elicitation: the language extended lexicon (LEL) and scenarios. Using the pair of LEL + scenarios allows to create a conceptual model that is clear and complete enough to derive a mathematical programming model that effectively captures the business domain. We also define an ontology to describe the pair LEL + scenarios, which has been implemented with a semantic mediawiki and allows the collaborative construction of the conceptual model and the semi-automatic derivation of mathematical programming model elements. The process is applied and validated in a known fresh tomato packing optimization problem.     The effects of teaching and assessment methods on academic performance: a study of an Operations Management course

    Whether the use of more active teaching–learning methods has a positive impact on academic performance remains unanswered. This article seeks to contribute to the issue by conducting a study of an Operations Management course with almost 1000 students per year over three consecutive academic years. The study compares three scenarios with differing degrees of student involvement and Information Technology usage. The findings show no differences in terms of exam grades, but there is an increase in the percentage of passes in the most active scenario analysed, in which continuous assessment tests are used. Notwithstanding, student involvement in the optional assessable activities was found to be a significant factor for predicting the likelihood of passing the subject, especially when continuous assessment tests are used, since their grades show a higher correlation with exam grades
