Enfermería : fármacos más utilizados en urgencias hospitalarias
El Servicio de Urgencias del C.H.G.U.V. cuenta con una plantilla de 84 Enfermeros/as. Una
parte considerable de ellos es personal de nueva incorporación, de ahí que sea prioritaria la
elaboración de protocolos de actuación.
La administración de medicación intravenosa es sin duda una de las técnicas de mayor
aplicación en los pacientes que acuden a Urgencias, que en nuestro Hospital oscila entre
550-600 atenciones diarias.
Por ello nos planteamos, mediante la realización de reuniones de grupo, la elaboración del
presente trabajo con el objetivo de elaborar un manual informativo sobre la medicación más
habitual utilizada en nuestro Servicio de Urgencias; indicaciones, contraindicaciones,
diluciones, cuidados y recomendaciones sobre la administración que nos ayude a visionar la
practica en nuestro trabajo y la calidad del Servicio que prestamos a nuestros pacientes, y
sirva de consulta sobre todo al personal de nueva incorporación.The First aid service of the C.H.G.U.V. Nurse is provided with a staff of 84, a considerable

present essay. Our main objective is to prepare an informative guidebook about the most
common used medicines in our first aid service: indications, contraindications, dilutions, care,
and recommendations on the use. In this sense it will contribute to see the practice in our
work and the service quality that we give to our patients. And what is more, it will serve as a

Peculiarities in the electrical and magnetic properties of cobalt perovskites Ln1−xMxCoO3 (Ln3+: La3+, M2+: Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+; Ln3+: Nd3+, M2+: Sr2+)

The magneto-transport properties of such materials are peculiar and interesting: they show diodic behavior and large relaxation effects — these latter being specially important in the Nd compound — they display magnetoresistive effects specially at the M–I transition temperatures, and they age with time. Disorder induced phase segregation in La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 manganites
Neutron powder diffraction experiments on La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 over a broad
temperature range above and below the metal-insulator transition have been
analyzed beyond the Rietveld average approach by use of Reverse Monte Carlo
modelling. This approach allows the calculation of atomic pair distribution
functions and spin correlation functions constrained to describe the observed
Bragg and diffuse nuclear and magnetic scattering. The results evidence phase
separation within a paramagnetic matrix into ferro and antiferromagnetic
domains correlated to anistropic lattice distortions in the vicinity of the

Empirical agent-based modelling of everyday pro-environmental behaviours at work
We report on agent-based modelling work in the LOCAW project (Low Carbon at Work: Modelling Agents and Organisations to Achieve Transition to a Low Carbon Europe). The project explored the effectiveness of various backcasting scenarios conducted with case study organisations in bringing about pro-environmental change in the workforce in the domains of transport, energy use and waste. The model used qualitative representations of workspaces in formalising each scenario, and decision trees learned from questionnaire responses to represent decision-making. We describe the process by which the decision trees were constructed, noting that the use of decision trees in agent-based models requires particular considerations owing to the potential use of explanatory
variables in model dynamics. The results of the modelling in various scenarios emphasise the importance of structural environmental changes in facilitating everyday pro-environmental behaviour, but also show there is a role for psychological variables such as norms, values and efficacy. As such, the topology of social interactions is a potentially important driver, raising the interesting prospect that both workplace geography and organisational hierarchy have a role to play in influencing workplace pro-environmental behaviours
Discontinuous transitions in double exchange materials
It is shown that the double exchange Hamiltonian, with weak antiferromagnetic
interactions, has a rich variety of first order transitions between phases with
different electronic densities and/or magnetizations. For band fillings in the
range , and at finite temperatures, a discontinuous
transition between phases with similar electronic densities but different
magnetizations takes place. This sharp transition, which is not suppressed by
electrostatic effects, and survives in the presence of an applied field, is
consistent with the phenomenology of the doped manganites near the transition

From a literature review to a conceptual framework for health sector websites’ assessment
Health sector institutions’ websites need to act as effective web resources of information and interactive communication mediums to address the versatile demands of their multiple stakeholders. Academic and practitioner interest in health sector website assessment has considerably risen in recent years. This can be seen by the number of papers published in journals. The purpose of this paper is twofold to further establish the field. First, it offers a literature re-view on hospitals’ websites assessment. Second, it offers a conceptual framework to address the website assessment issue in health sector. The proposed assessment framework focuses on four main criteria: content, technology, services, and participation being evaluated by the use of several indicators. Neutrino Physics from Charged Higgs and Slepton Associated Production in AMSB
In the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with bilinear R-Parity
violation, terms that violate R-Parity and lepton number are introduced in the
superpotential, and sneutrino vacuum expectation values are induced. As a
result, neutrino masses and mixing angles are generated via a low energy
see-saw mechanism. We show that this model embedded into an anomaly mediated
supersymmetry breaking scenario is testable at a linear collider using charged
Higgs boson production in association with a stau. This is possible in regions
of parameter space where the charged Higgs and stau have similar mass,
producing an enhancement of the charged scalar mixing angles. We show that the
bilinear parameter and the sneutrino vev can be determined from charged scalar
observables, and estimate the precision of this determination.Comment: 21 pages, including 8 figure
Testing neutrino mixing at future collider experiments
Low energy supersymmetry with bilinear breaking of R-parity leads to a
weak-scale seesaw mechanism for the atmospheric neutrino scale and a radiative
mechanism for the solar neutrino scale. The model has striking implications for
collider searches of supersymmetric particles. Assuming that the lightest SUSY
particle is the lightest neutralino we demonstrate that (i) The neutralino
decays inside the detector even for tiny neutrino masses. (ii) Measurements of
the neutrino mixing angles lead to predictions for the ratios of various
neutralino branching ratios implying an independent test of neutrino physics at
future colliders, such as the Large Hadron Collider or a Linear Collider.Comment: LaTex, 35 pages, 20 figures included, version 2, section on model

Colossal dielectric constants in transition-metal oxides
Many transition-metal oxides show very large ("colossal") magnitudes of the
dielectric constant and thus have immense potential for applications in modern
microelectronics and for the development of new capacitance-based
energy-storage devices. In the present work, we thoroughly discuss the
mechanisms that can lead to colossal values of the dielectric constant,
especially emphasising effects generated by external and internal interfaces,
including electronic phase separation. In addition, we provide a detailed
overview and discussion of the dielectric properties of CaCu3Ti4O12 and related
systems, which is today's most investigated material with colossal dielectric
constant. Also a variety of further transition-metal oxides with large
dielectric constants are treated in detail, among them the system La2-xSrxNiO4
where electronic phase separation may play a role in the generation of a
