La película No de Pablo Larraín reproduce y evidencia, tanto a nivel discursivo como formal, el cambio ocurrido en chile a causa de la implantación del sistema neoliberal. Una de las formas en que se impuso el mercado neoliberal en la sociedad chilena de los años ochenta fue articulada por la televisión. La tesis de la película es que bajo ese régimen mediático para el plebiscito del año 1988 fue la campaña televisiva del NO la que venció a la dictadura. Asumiendo las condiciones que ya había asignado el medio televisivo neoliberal, la película irrumpe con un discurso despolitizador que toma a la política como un producto de mercado, circunscribien- do el conflicto social y político de esos años al ámbito del medio televisivo. Además, la película utiliza en su propia factura visual el formato video y el archivo televisivo de la época, representando la historia de un modo anacrónico. con ello logra un uso reflexivo de la televisión, al ser ésta es un aparato cultural que ya forma parte de la historia en tanto medio al servicio de determinados agentes históricos, a la vez que puede utilizarse la televisión como plataforma para la representación histórica. Sin embargo, la película deja de lado otras manifestaciones artísticas y discursivas que también formaron parte de la franja política. con ello se implica que la película, en un giro cínico, asume la misma impronta estética “neoliberal” puesta en marcha por el régimen militar y continuada en la postdictadura

A RANGE UNIT ROOT TEST

Since the seminal paper by Dickey and Fuller in 1979, unit-root tests have conditioned the standard approaches to analyse time series with strong serial dependence, the focus being placed in the detection of eventual unit roots in an autorregresive model fitted to the series. In this paper we propose a completely different method to test for the type of“long-wave” patterns observed not only in unit root time series but also in series following more complex data generating mechanisms. To this end, our testing device analyses the trend exhibit by the data, without imposing any constraint on the generating mechanism. We call our device the Range Unit Root (RUR) Test since it is constructed from running ranges of the series. These statistics allow a more general characterization of a strong serial dependence in the mean behavior, thus endowing our test with a number of desirable properties, among which its error-model-free asymptotic distribution, the invariance to nonlinear monotonic transformations of the series and the robustness to the presence of level shifts and additive outliers. In addition, the RUR test outperforms the power of standard unit root tests on near-unit-root stationary time series and is asymptotically immune to noise.

Propuesta de un marco fiscal propio del trabajo autónomo

Con la aprobación del Estatuto del Trabajo Autónomo se resalta en nuestro país la figura del empresario individual a través de la prestación que realiza este empresario, surge el concepto de trabajo autónomo como una realidad que tendrá fuerza expansiva en todos los órdenes jurídicos. En materia de fiscalidad el Estatuto no aborda un marco fiscal específico, únicamente mandata a los poderes públicos para que con una política fiscal adecuada promocione el trabajo autónomo. No obstante nuestro país debe abordar un marco fiscal general para el trabajo autónomo, promocionando e incentivando las actividades de estos autónomos a través del establecimiento de beneficios fiscales.With the adoption of the Statute of the Autonomous Labor is highlighted in our country the figure of the individual entrepreneur through the provision that makes this businessman, comes the concept of self-employment as a reality that will have expansive force in all legal orders. 148 p.Los gliomas son tumores del sistema nervioso central de carácter difuso y con una alta vascularización. Las células que guían el crecimiento y expansión tumoral son las células madre tumorales que hay en el interior distribuidas preferentemente de forma perivascular. Mediante un modelo de generación endógena de gliomas hemos identificado las células madre tumorales y estudiado su distribución a lo largo de los diferentes estadios de malignidad, desde su estado menos maligno hasta el más avanzado. Hemos observado la presencia de células madre tumorales alrededor de la vascularización tumoral aberrante y una subpoblación de células madre que se distribuyen en el interior del tumor formando agrupación esferoides. Las células madre tumorales situadas de forma perivascular se encuentran en mayor cantidad en los vasos más aberrantes, como los glomerulos vasculares. Estas células madre están relacionadas con la angiogesis tumoral, al coexpresar factores como el VEGF.Las agrupaciones esferoides aumentan en tamaño y numero según aumenta el grado de malignidad tumoral y comparten caracteristicas morfologicas e inmunohistoquímicas con las neuroesferas obtenidas de gliomas. Estas agrupaciones esferoides son estructuras formadas por las células madre tumorales para defenderse en situaciones de hipoxia o falta de nutrientes.Por otro lado hemos utilizado un sistema de monitorización del comportamiento para identificar pautas que indiquen la presencia de un tumor del sistema nervioso central antes de la aparición de síntomas clínicos

Study of the Mercury M6e RFID reader for Ultra High Frequency band and testing operations

Pg. 6 Report 1 Introduction 1.1 Abstract In order to sum up the whole work done here, we must begin explaining with a fast overview of the contents that are going to appear below. At the beginning of the semester, the UPC bought the M6e RFID for UHF reader from mercury in the interest of make some research at experimental level and stating constancy of the knowhow of the equipment operation. This project defines not only the operation but also the scope and design of that knew tool, very useful in a few years but not commonly implemented nowadays. Another target of this research is to know how far can we arrive modifying some parameters from the equipment or try to implement new ones in order to optimize their functions to the maximum. Aside from those intentions, the idea of creating some kind of Python language wrappers (bindings) in order to call functions from the library written in C of the mercury API has been raised. The final purpose is to take control of the RFID system through a Python program by calling C functions in the vendor provided library. The reason why this study is being carried out is with the aspirations of implementing this system in a range of different possible applications. A personal aspiration is to take it to robotics applications such as mapping localization of the land and also finder stuff radar, as an example. It can be taken too for the supermarket cashier, thing that would make the job in a faster and easier way than current existing barcodes. The methods used here are basically two: in one hand, we must name the experimental work at the IOC’s Laboratory with the physical equipment which gets along with a software (Universal Reader Assistant) and in the other hand, with the help of two programming languages such as Python and C for the achievement of creating the bindings

Feasibility analysis and simulation of a renewable energy system in Barcelona

In order to sum up the whole work done here, it should be explained with a fast overview, the contents that are going to appear below. The main purpose of this project is to reduce Barcelona’s dependency of fossil fuels trough the installation and analysis of a renewable energy model developed at the Incheon National University Campus (EPSE Lab) that would fit the city according with its resources. The Renewable Energy Sources are going to be mainly solar and wind energy, quantifying the energy productions with a simulation software named SAM Energy which will show the performance depending on several key energy parameters. Es un tema controversial entre los economistas porque implica la intervención del estado en la operación del mercado y porque, en muchas ocasiones, no es claro si dicha intervención es beneficiosa para el consumidor o la economía. La Economía, como tema de cátedra universitaria y área del saber, parece haberse consolidado durante el siglo XVIII en Europa, conociéndose inicialmente como economía política. Fue solo hacia 1900 cuando el término 'economía' comenzó a popularizarse. La Universidad Javeriana ofreció la primera carrera universitaria de economía en Colombia a través de su Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Jurídicas fundada en 1931, cuyo programa tenía una duración de cinco años en el cual, dependiendo del programa escogido, el alumno podía recibir el título de doctor en Ciencias Económicas, doctor en Derecho, o doctor en Ciencias Económicas y Jurídicas.
