Revealing personal identity through conferences about short stories in low-ses preschoolers.
This paper reveals personal identity through conferences about short stories in low-SES (Socio Economic Status) preschoolers between four and five years old in a kindergarten from the ICBF (Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar) in Bogotá. This research project´s objective is to analyze low-Ses preschoolers´ personal identity through conferences about short stories, identify criteria that determine low-SES preschoolers´ personal identity and describe the relationship between personal identity criteria and low-SES preschoolers´ life experiences. To achieve this purpose, the researchers selected ten preschoolers between four and five years old, five girls and five boys. For the implementation there were seven sessions in total in which the researchers applied seven personal identity criteria by showing children different short stories. These stories were created by the researchers and tailored to be relevant to the children. Also, different reading comprehension strategies and activities were carried out, children then drew about their life experiences and answered multiple questions designed by the researchers which were called conferences. To collect the data, the researchers used field notes, children´s drawings and conferences. After the process, it was found that feeling like part of a family, building relationships, recognizing their bodies and abilities, absorbing their environment, using their imagination to solve problems and dreaming about their future were relevant aspects and are related to their personal identity
Novel Insights into the Mechanisms of Regulation of Tyrosine Kinase Receptors by Ras Interference 1
Receptor-tyrosine kinases (RTKs) are membrane bound receptors characterized by their intrinsic kinase activity. RTK activities play an essential role in several human diseases, including cancer, diabetes and neurodegenerative diseases. RTK activities have been regulated by the expression or silencing of several genes as well as by the utilization of small molecules.
Ras Interference 1 (Rin1) is a multifunctional protein that becomes associated with activated RTKs upon ligand stimulation. Rin1 plays a key role in receptor internalization and in signal transduction via activation of Rab5 and association with active form of Ras. This study has two main objectives: (1) It determines the role of Rin1 in the regulation of several RTKs focusing on insulin receptor. This was accomplished by studying the Rin1-insulin receptor interaction using a variety of biochemical and morphological assays. This study shows a novel interaction between the insulin receptor and Rin1 through the Vps9 domain. Two more RTKs (epidermal growth factor receptor and nerve growth factor receptor) also interacted with the SH2 domain of Rin1. The effect of the Rin1-RTK interaction on the activation of both Rab5 and Ras was also studied during receptor internalization and intracellular signaling. Finally, the role of Rin1 was examined in two differentiation processes (adipogenesis and neurogenesis). Rin1 showed a strong inhibitory effect on 3T3-L1 preadipocyte differentiation but it seems to show a modest effect in PC12 neurite outgrowth. These data indicate a selective function and specific interaction of Rin1 toward RTKs. (2) It examines the role of the small molecule Dehydroleucodine (DhL) on several key signaling molecules during adipogenesis. This was accomplished by studying the differentiation of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes exposed to different concentrations of DhL in different days of the adipocyte formation process. The results indicate that DhL selectively blocked adipocyte formation, as well as the expression of PPARγ, and C/EBPα. However, DhL treatment did not affect Rin1 or Rab5 expression and their activities.
Taken together, the data indicate a potential molecular mechanism by which proteins or small molecules regulate selective and specific RTK intracellular membrane trafficking and signaling during cell growth and differentiation in normal and pathological conditions

La presente indagación obedece a intereses históricos y sociales en materia de derechos políticos. Y para llegar a estas esferas de desarrollo partimos del complejo campo del lenguaje, como quiera que éste es el campo articulador de todas las relaciones sociales, por ende políticas y económicas que definen todos los otros campos de acción. Lo que nos reitera que somos seres lingüísticos, seres que viven en el lenguaje.
No obstante, y como veremos en este desarrollo, el lenguaje también se ha constituido en un arma de exclusión en el acontecer histórico; debido a los quiebres que realiza quien y nombra y el sujeto nombrado en los imaginarios sociales y en las representaciones culturales. Veremos entonces el definitivo y preponderante papel que tienen los usos lingüísticos en la esfera cotidiana; como desde un solo termino, se tejen una serie de nociones que terminan dando cuenta de una situación, un hecho y/o un fenómeno, lo que como veremos puede llegar a tener un papel protagónico en todas las esferas de la vida, pues nuestra identidad esta relacionada con el sentido que conferimos a través del lenguaje, y al cambiar los términos o mutarlos (resemantizarlos) se cambian también los contextos varían los actores y las interpretaciones. Es de esta precisa manera como nace la bruja, producto de un desarrollo mítica que explico un fenómeno en una época puntual de la historia. En este proceso entonces del termino y la historia podremos evaluar como las mujeres mutaron de costumbres y oficios hasta encontrarse con una cierta claridad respecto de su razón de ser, de su vida, y de las razones para reflexionarse a si mismas y establecer paradigmas éticos claros a cerca de si mismas
Educação e modernidade na Colômbia: uma reflexão a partir dos postulados de Fernando Cruz Kronfly
En este artículo se reflexiona sobre el concepto de educación como crisis del pensamiento animista y el ensayo como manifestación de la modernidad a partir del volumen de ensayos La sombrilla planetaria de autoría de Fernando Cruz Kronfly. Metodológicamente se tomarán los principales ensayos del texto en los que se enuncia el concepto de crisis, para luego analizar la Ilustración y la ruptura de pensamiento que se presenta a través de algunos postulados ensayísticos y literarios. Se genera un acercamiento al surgimiento formal de la filosofía en Colombia, tomando como referencia el contexto social, político y clerical. Se concluye con una reflexión sobre la incidencia del pensamiento ilustrado en la consolidación de una idea de modernidad, y mediante la comprensión de la obra, en términos humanos y con una percepción de su multidimensionalidad.This paper reflects on the concept of education as a crisis of animist thought and the essay as a manifestation of modernity from the volume of essays La sombrilla planetaria (The Planetary Umbrella) by Fernando Cruz Kronfly. Methodologically, the main essays of this author, in which the concept of crisis is stated, will be taken to later analyse the enlightenment and the rupture of thought that is presented through some essay and literary postulates. An approach to the formal emergence of philosophy in Colombia is generated, taking as reference the social, political and clerical context. The paper concludes with a reflection on the incidence of illustrated thought in the consolidation of an idea of modernity, and through the understanding of the work in human terms and with a perception of its multidimensionality.Este artigo reflete sobre o conceito de educação como uma crise de pensamento animista e o ensaio como manifestação da modernidade com base no volume de ensaios La sombrilla planetaria de autoria de Fernando Cruz Kronfly. Metodologicamente, serão tomados os principais ensaios deste autor, nos quais o conceito de crise é enunciado, para analisar o Iluminismo e a quebra de pensamento apresentados por meio de alguns ensaios e postulados literários. É gerada uma abordagem para o surgimento formal da filosofia na Colômbia, tomando como referência o contexto social, político e administrativo e clerical. A caravana da modernidade: notas para consolidar um conceito de modernidade ilustrada
This article reviews the horizon of thought offered by some Colombian and Latin American thinkers and essayists, whose approaches are related to modernity as a social, political and ideological phenomenon that has its peak in the continent during the nineteenth century, and continues to take position and resignifying itself during the twentieth century. Based on the premise of Latin Americans, they have been thought more than they have thought themselves and recognizing that the philosophical foundations on which Latin American and Colombian thought and thinking are based have a basis in the Enlightenment and in the emergence of European political categories; it is necessary to record that these became valid in Latin America, through the secular thinkers who projected an ideal of republic taking as reference the changes generated in the European continent through ideological and military conquests, in an attempt to imitate the political and political categories. reproduce the libertarian values of the old continent in Latin America.El presente artículo revisa el horizonte de pensamiento que ofrecen algunos intelectuales, cuyos planteamientos están relacionados con la Modernidad como fenómeno social, político e ideológico que tiene su auge en el subcontinente durante el siglo XIX, y sigue tomando posición y resignificándose durante el siglo XX, a través de la Ilustración como proyecto desde el que se planea la educación en los países latinoamericanos. El principal propósito entonces radica en rastrear el concepto de modernidad, para comprender su origen y proyección histórica en la diversidad histórica, política y educativa del subcontinente latinoamericano. Se concluye a partir de dicho rastreo que los procesos de hibridación y apropiación de la modernidad están estrechamente vinculados con los procesos educativos, con el impulso crítico y reflexivo de los pueblos, producto del proyecto ilustrado que se tradujo en cada uno de los países latinoamericanos a un ritmo diferente, pero siempre desde una proyección educativa-formativa. Este artigo analisa o horizonte do pensamento oferecido por alguns intelectuais, cujas abordagens estão relacionadas com a modernidade como fenômeno social, política e ideológica que tem seu pico no subcontinente durante o século XIX e continua a ter lugar e novos significados ao longo do século XX, Através do Iluminismo como um projeto a partir do qual a educação é planejada nos países da América Latina. O objetivo principal, em seguida, encontra-se em traçar o conceito de modernidade para entender sua origem e projeção histórica na diversidade histórica, política e educacional do subcontinente latino-americano. Influencia del núcleo familiar en la formación ambiental del niño - niña. Estudio de caso : institución preescolar liceo infantil casita encantada localidad barrios unidos, Bogotá, D.C.
Esta investigación tiene como objetivo identificar la influencia del núcleo familiar en la formación ambiental del niño y niña, la cual se realizó en el Institución de Educación preescolar denominada "Liceo Infantil Casita Encantada" ubicada en el Barrio José Joaquín Vargas en la localidad de Barrios Unidos de la Ciudad de Bogotá D.C., con niños y niñas que oscilan entre 3 y 6 años de edad. Se diseño un instrumento socio-ambiental que combina los mapas mentales y la metodología del pensamiento creativo los cuales fueron aplicados al núcleo familiar, a las docentes, a los niños y niñas para identificar la influencia del núcleo familiar en la formación ambiental de los menores frente al recurso del agua, la energía eléctrica, la generación y el aprovechamiento de los residuos sólidos y la biodiversidad colombiana en familia.Magíster en Gestión AmbientalMaestrí
