Correlación Citocolposcópica e Histopatológica de Lesiones Pre e invasivas de Cuello Uterino en las pacientes que acuden a la Consulta Ginecológica del Centro de Salud Francisco Morazán, Managua I semestre de 2015

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo establecer la correlación citológica e histopatológica de lesiones pre e invasivas de cuello uterino en las pacientes que acuden a la consulta ginecológica del centro de salud francisco Morazán en el municipio de Managua en el I semestre 2015. Es una investigación de tipo descriptiva de corte transversal, donde la muestra fue 100 pacientes que acudieron a la consulta ginecológica de dicha unidad de salud, las cuales fueron captadas mediante información anotada en el libro de registro de citologías y biopsia que se llevaba en la unidad de salud en estudio lo que permitió identificar los expedientes de las pacientes. En los resultados encontrados se compararon las pruebas de tamizaje de PAP y colposcopia con la biopsia y se estableció el grado de correlación y por lo tanto la sensibilidad de las mismas en las diferentes lesiones. Las 100 mujeres presentaron diagnostico citológico y anatomopatológico, no así colposcópico apareciendo el diagnostico de lesión pre maligna y maligna en 54 pacientes, sin embargo todas presentaron mapeo colposcópico; se compararon las pruebas individualmente. Los grupos etarios predominantes fueron 21-30 años y 31-40 años con 31% de incidencia cada uno, la escolaridad predomino la secundaria con 45%, 73% de las participantes eran amas de casa, 47% estaban casadas, 58% inicio vida sexual antes de los 16 años. La correlación entre PAP y biopsia es baja, sin embargo es buena para detectar lesiones de alto grado; se reportó 69 casos de LIEBG por citología de los cuales se confirmaron 40 para un 57%, 22 casos de LIEAG se confirmaron por biopsia 16 para un 72.7%, 9 casos de ASCUS reportados ninguno confirmado por biopsia. Hubo buena correlación entre colposcopia y biopsia, de 26 casos de LIEBG por colposcopia 20 se confirmaron por biopsia para un 76.9%, de 27 casos de LIEAG 25 se confirmaron por biopsia para un 92.5% y 1 caso de carcinoma invasor por colposcopia el cual se confirmó por biopsi

Rèseaux urbains en Amèrique Latine: Nouveaux enjeux dáprès la connexion aèrienne des villes

The paper introduces the situation of Latin American urban system, analyzing the growth population, using primarily air transportation as an indicator of territorial structure and cohesion. Air transportation connectivity measures are recently used, as well, to assess the inclusion of the nodes on the global arena, as it is also the purpose of this study. Permanencies and changes in the Latin American and Caribbean urban system will be highlight using quantitative methodologies based on descriptive statistical operations. The aim of our work will be to identify those nodes that burst on the urban scene and those destined to play a global role as main linkages between the region and the world.El trabajo presenta la situación actual del sistema urbano latinoamericano mediante el análisis de su evolución demográfica y utiliza el transporte aéreo como un indicador significativo de la vertebración y la cohesión regional. También se utilizan medidas de conectividad aérea para valorar la inserción de los nodos latinoamericanos en el escenario global. Mediante metodologías cuantitativas basadas en operaciones de estadística descriptiva se ponen de manifiesto los cambios y permanencias que se han producido en el sistema urbano de América Latina y del Caribe durante las últimas décadas, con objeto de identificar nuevas relevancias en el sistema urbano y la existencia de nodos que tienden a cumplir, cada vez más, una función global, actuando como centros de conexión necesaria entre esta región y el resto del mundo.Ce travail présente l’actualité du réseau urbain latinoaméricain d’après l’analyse de la dinamique démographique récente et du transport aérien comme indicateur de l’articulation regionale. Down-regulation of a pectin acetylesterase gene modifies strawberry fruit cell wall pectin stracture and increases fruit firmness

Antisense-mediated down-regulation of several fruit-specific genes has previously demonstrated how the cell wall disassembly in strawberry fruit is mediated by a series of enzymes that act sequentially (Posé et al. 2011). An interesting example, the silencing of the polygalacturonase gene FaPG1, was also related with a significant increase of the post-harvest strawberry fruit firmness (Posé et al. 2013). Our research group has isolated a pectin acetylesterase gene, FaPAE1, which expression is enhanced during strawberry ripening. The main goal of this work was to elucidate the role of the degree of acetylation in cell wall integrity and fruit firmness through the antisense-mediated down-regulation of FaPAE1 in strawberry plants. Several transgenics lines were generated and 5 of them produced fruits 5-15% firmer than controls. Cell wall from ripe fruits was isolated from two independent transgenic lines and a control line, and sequentially extracted with different solvents (PAW, H2O, CDTA, Na2CO3). Modifications in fraction yield, its sugar composition and the degree of acetylation in each fraction were determined. Higher amounts of CDTA and Na2CO3 fractions were obtained in transgenic fruits, suggesting a decreased pectin solubilization as results of FaPAE1 silencing. Accordingly, the degree of acetylation of the Na2CO3-soluble pectins was greater in the transgenic lines than the control, but the opposite result was found in pectins from the CDTA fraction. These results suggest that PAE is preferentially active in pectis that are tightly bound to the cellulose-hemicellulose network and its activity could reduce the complexity of the cell wall structure, allowing that other hydrolytic enzymes could access the pectin chains. Thus, the increased fruit firmness observed in the transgenic FaPAE1 lines could be attributed to the direct effect of the silencing of the PAE enzyme and also to the indirect effect that the increase of the degree of acetylation of pectins has on the activity of other enzymes involved in the cell wall degradation. * Posé et al. Air Transport and Connectivity: Evidences on the Emergence of Tourist Nucleuses in the World Urban System

Transporte aéreo y turismo son dos de los vectores con más impronta en los procesos de globalización, existiendo una clara interdependencia entre ambos. La presente investigación ahonda en estas relaciones valorando la variabilidad del ranking de ciudades turísticas mundiales (2006- 2016) e interpretando estos resultados a la luz de diferentes indicadores de conectividad aérea, como el volumen de frecuencias y la especialización geográfica de la conexión. Se considera que ello permite determinar cómo y en qué medida se ha producido la irrupción de determinados núcleos turísticos en el sistema urbano mundial y cuál es su alcance o proyección internacional. Unos se corresponden con grandes metrópolis globales mientras que en otras localizaciones el fenómeno se debe a especializaciones funcionales muy concretas. Los resultados hablan de la eclosión de algunos nodos especialmente relevantes en la región de Asia Pacífico y de la recomposición de los pesos y significados funcionales de las grandes regiones turísticas mundiales.Abstract Air transportation and tourism are undoubtedly two of the main vectors on globalization processes with a deep interrelation between them. The research deeps on these relationships at measuring the changes on the top 100 touristic city ranking (2006- 2016). The air transportation indicators, such as the total number of flights, facilitates to interpret the results. In the end, the analysis shows the way and the scope of the irruption of touristic nuclei in the world urban system and what is their international meaning. Some of these cities are global ones, with a huge range of activities and functions but the emergence of another type of touristic cities is due to their specific functional roles. Design of Electric Racing Vehicles: An experience of interdisciplinary project-based education in engineering

This paper describes a project based learning program carried out in the E.T.S.I.I. of the University of Malaga, Spain, whose main objective is the organization of a team for the development of experimental electric racing vehicles and their evaluation in competitive races. It is shown the work done during the first two years of the project, highlighting the most important aspects of the experience: the training focused on senior students (capstone courses), the training focused on freshmen (cornerstone courses) and the university-industry collaboration for the manufacture of the prototypes and equipment designed.Universidad de Málaga. Plataforma hardware universal para prácticas sobre sistemas electrónicos analógico-digitales avanzados en régimen de semipresencialidad

Aquest projecte tracta d’implementar una metodologia per fer pràctiques d’Electrònica Analògica amb circuits avançats que es puguin configurar fàcilment dins d’una placa hardware universal. Aquesta metodologia es basa en el procés habitual que segueixen els dissenyadors electrònics i consta de tres fases: 1- disseny i càlcul teòric del circuit 2- simulació del circuit 3- mesures sobre un prototip 4- validació del disseny Aquest procés s’ha de fer seqüencialment i estaria controlat per un programa web que donaria als estudiants el timing correcte de les tasques a realitzar i els ajudaria amb els continguts teòrics necessaris. El fet de que el programa sigui web facilita la semipresencialitat de les sessions de laboratori i permet una gran millora a l’autoaprenentatge dels estudiants. Tant el software que controla la metodologia com el material de pràctiques es transferible a qualsevol assignatura que faci pràctiques de circuits analògics
