    Pitting Corrosion of Ni3(Si,Ti) Intermetallic Compound at Various Chloride Concentrations

    The pitting corrosion of Ni3(Si,Ti) intermetallic compound was investigated as function of chloride concentration by using electrochemical method and scanning electron microscope in sodium chloride solutions at 293 K. In addition, the pitting corrosion of type C276 alloy was also studied under the same experimental condition for comparison. The pitting potential obtained for the intermetallic compound decreased with increasing chloride concentration. The specific pitting potential and pitting potential of Ni3(Si,Ti) were lower than those of C276 alloy, which means that the pitting corrosion resistance of C276 alloy was higher than that of Ni3(Si,Ti)

    This paper discusses the social construction of the Craken village community regarding the longkangan tradition in TrenggalekRegency. This study uses the theoretical concept of Peter L. Berger with three components, namely externalization, objectivationand internalization. This study uses qualitative methods and uses a phenomenological approach with the aim of uncovering aphenomenon of cultural behavior that occurs in the Craken village community. The research location is in Craken Village,Trenggalek Regency. The results of the research regarding the construction of the Craken village community regarding thelongkangan tradition, namely the first, the Longkangan tradition as a sacred culture. Second, the longkan tradition as a meansof asking for safety and thanksgiving. Third, the longkan tradition as an investment for the future.     DETEKSI PROSES KOROSI PADA BAJA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN LAPISAN AKRILIK TERMODIFIKASI PHENOLPHTHALEIN

    Masalah korosi merupakan salah satu pertimbangan biaya pemeliharaan dalam proses produksi industri minyak dan gas bumi, petrokimia dan geothermal. Salah satu metode mitigasi korosi adalah proses pelapisan polimer atau cat. Walaupun struktur di lapis oleh cat, proses korosi terjadi karena preparasi permukaan yang tidak benar. Proses deteksi dini korosi dibawah lapisan cat bisa salah satu kandidat untuk mengurangi kerusakan lebih lanjut. Material senyawa cerdik adalah phenolphthalein (PP) diperlukan sebagai indikator terjadinya korosi. Konsentrasi senyawa PP divariasikan dengan sebesar 0,01% ; 0,1 % dan 1% yang diimbuhkan ke lapisan berbasis akrilik. Pengujian perfoma lapisan cat melalui pengujian kabut garam (ASTM B117-97) selama 240 jam. Metode visualisasi secara makro dilakukan untuk melihat kerusakan cat. Perfoma senyawa PP pada cat dengan konsentrasi 0,01% dan 1% memberikan indikasi bercak warna jingga di waktu ekspos 24 jam. Reaksi oksidasi dan reduksi (elektrokimia) berlangsung  pada daerah antar muka lapisan cat dan substrak baja melalui visualisasi warna jingga

    Information Sharing Model in Supporting Implementation of e-Procurement Service: Case of Bandung City

    This research examines the factors influencing the Information Sharing Model in Supporting Implementation of e-Procurement Services: Case of Bandung City in its early maturity stage. The early maturity of information sharing stage was determined using e-Government Maturity Stage Conceptual Framework from Estevez. Bandung City e-Procurement Information Sharing system was categorized at stage 1 in Estevez model where the concern was mainly on assessing the benefit and risk of implementing the system. The Authors were using DeLone McLean (DM) Information System Success model to study benefit and risk of implementing the system in Bandung city. The model was then empirically tested by employing survey data that was collected from the available 40 listed supplier firms. DMs model adjusted by Klischewskis description was introducing Information Quality, System Quality, and Service Quality as independent variable; Usability and User Satisfaction as intermediate dependent variable; and Perceived Net Benefit as final dependent variable. The findings suggested that, all of the predictors in DMs model significantly influenced the net perceived benefit of implementing the e-Procurement system in the early maturity stage. The theoretical contribution of this research suggested that DMs model might find useful in modeling complex information technology successfulness such as the one used in e-Procurement service. This research could also have implications for policy makers (LPSE) and system providers (LKPP) following the introduction of the service. However, the small number of respondent might be considered limitation of the study. The model needs to be further tested using larger number of respondents by involving the population of the firms in extended boundary/municipality area around Bandung

    This study aimed to know the effect of economics micro factor and macro factor on Mining And Mining Services company stock prices either simultaneously or partially. Micro Tractors were studied are the Current Ratio (CR), Debt Equity Ratio (DER), Inventory Turnover (ITO), Return on Equity (ROE), Price Earning Ratio (PER), while macro Tractors were studied are inflation and world oil prices. The results showed that the variable economics micro factors and macro factors simgnificant simultaneously effect stock prices. Further results of the study also showed that partially DER, ROE, inflation, and world oil prices have significant effect on stock prices, while other variables such as CR, ITO, and PER haven't significant effect on company stock prices mining and mining services 2008-2011 period

    EXPLORING BRAND POSITIONING AND HOTEL PERSONA TROUGH WOM AND CONTENT BY TEXT ANALYSIS

    Hotel management will concentrate on addressing difficult challenges and finding new ways for hotels to succeed in today's changing market world. Online customer reviews can be used to reflect the degree of differentiation between hotel brands and understanding the hotel industry's market structure through text analytics. The purpose of this study is to discover and demonstrate how customer online reviews (WOM and content), in the hospitality industry using text analysis can be used to explore brand positioning of hotel persona. This study gathered 4.215 online reviews one of hotel at Bandung city from year of 2015 – 2019, the methodology used the approach of text classification, quantitative analysis of text. This study found the category of visitors who stay the most are comes from family category and romantic vacation category, while the target visitors expected by the hotel are from business traveler’s category. Most customer state the word "family" when mentioning the hotel. Children, family, pool, zoo are the words most often discussed in customer reviews. This study findings can be used as an insight into what are the things that generate a satisfying experience and strengthen brand positioning of the hotel. In the future, it would be interesting to gathered data from multiple e-commerce application, and combining ontology-learning-based text mining and psychometric techniques to translate online hotel’s reviews into a hotel’s positioning map, capturing the relationship between product of hotel and reviewer effectively.     Corrosion Behavior of Ni3(Si,Ti) + 2Mo in Hydrochloric Acid Solution

    The corrosion behavior of Ni3(Si,Ti) + 2Mo intermetallic compound (L12 and (L12 + Niss) mixture region) has been investigated using an immersion test, polarization method and surface analytical method (scanning electron microscope and energy-dispersive X-Ray spectrometry) in 0.5 kmol/m3 hydrochloric acid (HCl) solution at 303 K. In addition, the results obtained were compared to those of the L12 single-phase Ni3(Si,Ti) intermetallic compound and C 276 alloy. It was found that Ni3(Si,Ti) + 2Mo had the preferential dissolution of L12 with a lower Mo concentration compared to (L12 + Niss) mixture region. From the immersion test and polarization curves, Ni3(Si,Ti) + 2Mo and C276 showed the lowest corrosion resistance and the highest corrosion resistance in the solution, respectively. From this work, It implied that unlike C276, Ni3(Si,Ti) +2Mo intermetallic compound was difficult to form a stable passive film in HCl solution as well as Ni3(Si,Ti) in the same solution

    Studi Awal Potensi Daun Belimbing Wuluh sebagai Inhibitor Korosi pada Baja Karbon di Larutan Asam Klorida

    Di Indonesia, pengembangan bahan dasar inhibitor korosi dari banyak tanaman dilakukan oleh para peneliti sebagai pengganti inhibitor komersial yang potensial. Khususnya, investigasi terhadap daun belimbing wuluh (DBW) sebagai inhibitor korosi alami dilakukan melalui pengujian elektrokimia antara lain Tafel dan Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), dimana dilakukan pada logam baja karbon di media lartan asam klorida (HCl). Penambahan konsentrasi ekstrak DBW dapat menurunkan laju korosi secara signifikan,dimana peningkatan nilai efisiensi inhibisi tertinggi 94,5% dan nilai tahanan transfer muatan (Rp) baja karbon 175,5 ohm pada konsentrasi DBW sebesar 6000 ppm. Inhibitor ekstrak DBW dikatagorikan sebagai inhibitor campuran dengan melihat penurunan dikedua nilai rapat arus anodik dan katodik yang terjadi seiring dengan penambahan konsentrasi inhibitor dan pergeseran nilai potensial korosi dibawah ±85 mV. Berdasarkan hasil studi awal, peningkatan nilai Rp dan penurunan kapasitansi lapisan ganda (Cf) mengindikasikan keberadaan lapisan pasif akibat proses adsorpsi molekul ekstrak DBW di permukaan baja karbon

    Water is one of the primary necessities for living beings on earth. One way to utilize water is a weir. The water level raising caused by the dam causes the flow of super critis in the downstream of the dam and will lead to water leap. The effect of this water jump is still to erode the bottom of the river downstream of the weir. To reduce the scouring downstream of stilling basin, then installed baffle blocks in stilling basin. The purpose of this study was to examine the performance of weirs with ogee spill. Another test is to test the effectiveness of type V baffle blocks in reducing flow energy, water jump length and flow turbulence compared with half-cylinder block baffles. Experiments in this study were conducted at the Hydraulics Laboratory of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. This research uses flume tool with size 30 cm × 60 cm × 1000 cm, slope base 0,0058 channel. Mercu dam using ogee type. The ojek pool uses a USBR-II type using two variations of baffle blocks. Total running done as many as 35 running. The results show some conclusions. First, the best baffle block arrangement to absorb flow energy is baffle blocks with 75 ° angle placed at the beginning of the pond. secondly, the most effective baffle block position to reduce water jump length is baffle blocks with 75 ° angle placed with zig-zag position on stilling basin with performance percentage of 29.82%. Third, the performance of the most effective baffle block shape and position reduces turbulence downstream of the vortex is baffe blocks with a 75 ° angle placed in zigzag position on the stilling basin. Fourth, the comparison of the formula used between the formula of Bambang Triatmojo and also from the book of Irrigation Planning Criteria with the USBR-II graph does not have a significant difference, a considerable difference only in water jump lengths in the two formulas. Finally, Froude Number 12.28 is obtained at the lowest discharge and in the most effective baffle block arrangement proves that USBR-II usage is correct for this experiment, considering the minimum usage of USBR-II Froude Number is 4.5

    The Influence of Social Media Communication on Purchase Intention and Purchase Decision Through Brand Equity in Mixue Indonesia

    Purpose: This research aims to identify the influencing factors of Social Media Communication purchase intention and purchase decision through brand equity so that the business can maintain sustainability using descriptive analysis and SEM-PLS on SmartPLS.   Theoretical framework: This research is a development of industrial theoretical aspects of ice & tea in Indonesia, which consists of Firm Generated Social Media Communication and User-Generated Social Media Communication variables influencing purchase intention and purchase decision through mediating variables, including brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty.   Design/Methodology/Approach: This research uses quantitative methods. The data source comes from a survey by distributing online questionnaires to 385 people who have purchased Mixue products and have seen Mixue content created by the Mixue Indonesia company and other Tiktok users. The data analysis technique used is SEM-PLS analysis and using SmartPLS software.   Findings:  User-Generated Social Media Communication is the variable that most influences purchase intention and purchase through the TikTok social media application, while the mediating variable, Perceived Quality is one of the highest brand equity mediating variables. Additionally, adding variables in this research proves that purchase intention influences purchase decision.   Research, Practical & Social implications:   Mixue management must pay attention to social media communication, especially user-generated content on the Tiktok application and brand equity, to achieve and maintain consistency and sustainability.   Originality/Value: This research is the first to analyze the factors influencing purchasing intentions and purchasing decisions at Mixue Indonesia so that it can become a reference in academic aspects and managerial knowledge
