Compact and High Performance Dual-band Bandpass Filter Using Resonator-embedded Scheme for WLANs
A compact microstrip dual-band bandpass filter (DBBPF) with high selectivity and good suppression for wireless local area networks (WLANs) is proposed utilizing a novel embedded scheme resonator. Two passbands are produced by a pair of embedded half-wavelength meandered stepped-impedance resonator (MSIR) and a quadwavelength short stub loaded stepped-impedance resonator (SIR) separately. The resonator is fed by folded Tshaped capacitive source-load coupling microstrip feed line, and four transmission zeros are obtained at both sides of the bands to improve selectivity and suppression. Simultaneously, the size of the filter is extermely compact because embedding half-wavelength MSIR only changes the interior configuration of quad-wavelength SIR. To validate the design method, the designed filter is fabricated and measured. Both simulated and measured results indicate that good transmission property has been achieved
Classical Poisson structures and r-matrices from constrained flows
We construct the classical Poisson structure and -matrix for some finite
dimensional integrable Hamiltonian systems obtained by constraining the flows
of soliton equations in a certain way. This approach allows one to produce new
kinds of classical, dynamical Yang-Baxter structures. To illustrate the method
we present the -matrices associated with the constrained flows of the
Kaup-Newell, KdV, AKNS, WKI and TG hierarchies, all generated by a
2-dimensional eigenvalue problem. Some of the obtained -matrices depend only
on the spectral parameters, but others depend also on the dynamical variables.
For consistency they have to obey a classical Yang-Baxter-type equation,
possibly with dynamical extra terms.Comment: 16 pages in LaTe
Coherent control at its most fundamental: CEP-dependent electron localization in photodissoziation of a H2+ molecular ion beam target
Measurements and calculations of the absolute carrier-envelope phase (CEP)
effects in the photodissociation of the simplest molecule, H2+, with a 4.5-fs
Ti:Sapphire laser pulse at intensities up to (4 +- 2)x10^14 Watt/cm^2 are
presented. Localization of the electron with respect to the two nuclei (during
the dissociation process) is controlled via the CEP of the ultra-short laser
pulses. In contrast to previous CEP-dependent experiments with neutral
molecules, the dissociation of the molecular ions is not preceded by a
photoionization process, which strongly influences the CEP dependence.
Kinematically complete data is obtained by time- and position-resolved
coincidence detection. The phase dependence is determined by a single-shot
phase measurement correlated to the detection of the dissoziation fragments.
The experimental results show quantitative agreement with ab inito 3D-TDSE
calculations that include nuclear vibration and rotation.Comment: new version includes minore changes and adding the supp_material.pd
Higher Order Potential Expansion for the Continuous Limits of the Toda Hierarchy
A method for introducing the higher order terms in the potential expansion to
study the continuous limits of the Toda hierarchy is proposed in this paper.
The method ensures that the higher order terms are differential polynomials of
the lower ones and can be continued to be performed indefinitly. By introducing
the higher order terms, the fewer equations in the Toda hierarchy are needed in
the so-called recombination method to recover the KdV hierarchy. It is shown
that the Lax pairs, the Poisson tensors, and the Hamiltonians of the Toda
hierarchy tend towards the corresponding ones of the KdV hierarchy in
continuous limit.Comment: 20 pages, Latex, to be published in Journal of Physics
Theoretical Study on Rotational Bands and Shape Coexistence of {Tl} in the Particle Triaxial-Rotor Model
By taking the particle triaxial-rotor model with variable moment of inertia,
we investigate the energy spectra, the deformations and the single particle
configurations of the nuclei Tl systemically. The calculated
energy spectra agree with experimental data quite well. The obtained results
indicate that the aligned bands observed in Tl originate from
the , , proton
configuration coupled to a prolate deformed core, respectively. Whereas, the
negative parity bands built upon the isomeric states in
Tl are formed by a proton with the
configuration coupled to a core with triaxial oblate deformation, and the
positive parity band on the isomeric state in Tl is
generated by a proton with configuration coupled to a
triaxial oblate core.Comment: 16 pages, 5 figures. To appear in Physical Review
On the Toda Lattice Equation with Self-Consistent Sources
The Toda lattice hierarchy with self-consistent sources and their Lax
representation are derived. We construct a forward Darboux transformation (FDT)
with arbitrary functions of time and a generalized forward Darboux
transformation (GFDT) for Toda lattice with self-consistent sources (TLSCS),
which can serve as a non-auto-Backlund transformation between TLSCS with
different degrees of sources. With the help of such DT, we can construct many
type of solutions to TLSCS, such as rational solution, solitons, positons,
negetons, and soliton-positons, soliton-negatons, positon-negatons etc., and
study properties and interactions of these solutions.Comment: 20 page
A method to find unstable periodic orbits for the diamagnetic Kepler Problem
A method to determine the admissibility of symbolic sequences and to find the
unstable periodic orbits corresponding to allowed symbolic sequences for the
diamagnetic Kepler problem is proposed by using the ordering of stable and
unstable manifolds. By investigating the unstable periodic orbits up to length
6, a one to one correspondence between the unstable periodic orbits and their
corresponding symbolic sequences is shown under the system symmetry
decomposition
B\"{a}cklund transformations for the constrained dispersionless hierarchies and dispersionless hierarchies with self-consistent sources
The B\"{a}cklund transformations between the constrained dispersionless KP
hierarchy (cdKPH) and the constrained dispersionless mKP hieararchy (cdmKPH)
and between the dispersionless KP hieararchy with self-consistent sources
(dKPHSCS) and the dispersionless mKP hieararchy with self-consistent sources
(dmKPHSCS) are constructed. The auto-B\"{a}cklund transformations for the
cdmKPH and for the dmKPHSCS are also formulated.Comment: 11 page
Quantum asymmetric cryptography with symmetric keys
Based on quantum encryption, we present a new idea for quantum public-key
cryptography (QPKC) and construct a whole theoretical framework of a QPKC
system. We show that the quantum-mechanical nature renders it feasible and
reasonable to use symmetric keys in such a scheme, which is quite different
from that in conventional public-key cryptography. The security of our scheme
is analyzed and some features are discussed. Furthermore, the state-estimation
attack to a prior QPKC scheme is demonstrated.Comment: 8 pages, 1 figure, Revtex
