Las uniones de hecho como base de la familia en Chile : su necesidad de regulación por parte de nuestro ordenamiento jurídico

Eficiencia de la metodología de la clase invertida en la enseñanza universitaria

Hoy día las nuevas tecnologías han invadido casi todos los aspectos de la vida cotidiana. Los videos docentes son una realidad en el ámbito de la docencia. Hace años comenzamos a utilizar videos docentes a modo de complemento en clase, sin embargo el descubrimiento de la flipped classroom nos hizo plantearnos una nueva forma de enseñanza, invirtiendo los papeles: el alumno toma el papel protagonista, estudiando en casa con ayuda del material proporcionado por el profesor y aprovecha el tiempo de clase para resolver ejercicios, dudas y trabajar en equipo. Si bien esta metodología ha sido llevada a cabo con éxito en diversos niveles educativos no universitarios, en nuestra realidad, hemos tenido que adaptarla, incorporando elementos adicionales. En este trabajo se expone la experiencia en el desarrollo de la clase invertida con el uso de una página web de vídeos docentes, tanto en la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales de la Universidad de Málaga, como en la Universidad Nacional de San Martín en Argentina. Con esta metodología se consigue entusiasmar al alumno en el estudio previo, además el teléfono móvil tiene un papel importante en este cambio, utilizando Socrative para contrastar los avances de los alumnos. Todo este proceso se evalúa mediante la respuesta del alumno ante esta iniciativa, a través de la realización de encuestas antes, durante y después del curso, así como mediante un análisis de los resultados finales de las asignaturas.Universidad de Málaga. La Educación Económico-Financiera tiene una doble vertiente, primera, de dotar al individuo de una formación de contenidos y, segunda, la componente Ético-Moral asociada a toda buena educación. ¿Cuándo planea retirarse? Antecedentes de la edad de retiro en empresas familiares

The family CEOs' intention to retire seems to be critical to trigger the succession process. For a more comprehensive understanding of the leadership succession in family businesses, it is important to study the antecedents of the family CEO's intended retirement age. Using a global database, we examine the incumbents' retirement age from their own perspective as the determinant of retirement timing. We apply the theory of planned behavior to explore factors affecting retirement age with a forward perspective, using the intended age of retirement as an antecedent for effective retirement age. Our results suggest that individual factors of the intended retirement age have stronger explanatory power in leader intended retirement age compared to the family business factors.La intención de retiro de los CEO familiares parece ser crítica para desencadenar el proceso de sucesión. Para una comprensión más completa de la sucesión de liderazgo en las empresas familiares, es importante estudiar los antecedentes de la edad de retiro prevista del CEO familiar. Utilizando una base de datos global, examinamos la edad de retiro de los titulares desde su propia perspectiva como determinante del momento del retiro. Aplicamos la teoría del comportamiento planificado para explorar los factores que afectan la edad de retiro con una perspectiva hacia adelante, utilizando la edad de retiro prevista como antecedente para la edad de retiro efectiva. Nuestros resultados sugieren que los factores individuales de la edad de retiro prevista tienen mayor poder explicativo en la edad de retiro prevista del líder en comparación con los factores de la empresa familiar

THE EFFECT OF ROUNDING ON THE PROBABILITY DISTRIBUTION OF REGRADING IN THE U.S. PEANUT INDUSTRY

This article determines the effect of rounding (pointing-off) of grade percentages to the nearest whole number on the probability distribution of regrading in the peanut industry. Results show that rounding causes graders to have to regrade an extra 4% of samples even when they follow all directions and make no mistakes. When rounding was not used, the sample weight had little effect on the probability of regrading. With rounding, the probability of regrading was reduced by beginning with a larger than 500-gram sample. Thus, rounding provides an incentive to take overweight samples in order to avoid regrading. Overweight samples can overestimate the value of peanuts. Verified Model Checking for Conjunctive Positive Logic

We formalize, in the Dafny language and verifier, a proof system PS for deciding the model checking problem of the fragment of first-order logic, denoted FOAE/\ , known as conjunctive positive logic (CPL). We mechanize the proofs of soundness and completeness of PS ensuring its correctness. Our formalization is representative of how various popular verification systems can be used to verify the correctness of rule-based formal systems on the basis of the least fixpoint semantics. Further, exploiting Dafny’s automatic code generation, from the completeness proof we achieve a mechanically verified prototype implementation of a proof search mechanism that is a model checker for CPL. The model checking problem of FOAE/\ is equivalent to the quantified constraint satisfaction problem (QCSP), and it is PSPACE-complete.
