Determinación de los Factores Que Inciden en la Alfabetización Financiera en Mujeres en Condición de Vulnerabilidad, Para Bucaramanga y su Área Metropolitana, Colombia

El rol de las mujeres en la sociedad, a lo largo de los años ha estado condicionado por diversos factores, uno de ellos corresponde al acceso a la educación, en donde la alfabetización financiera juega un papel significativo pues es quien determina en gran medida el bienestar financiero de las personas. Es así como el objetivo de la investigación consiste en determinar qué factores inciden en la alfabetización financiera de las mujeres en condición de vulnerabilidad del área metropolitana de Bucaramanga en Colombia. Adicionalmente, se pretende establecer qué factores influyen sobre el conocimiento, comportamiento y actitud financiera y, qué tan lejos se encuentran dichas métricas respecto a las medidas en diferentes países pertenecientes a la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económico (OCDE). Por consiguiente, se realiza una revisión de literatura, desarrollando una herramienta de medición a través de la cual se recopilan y analizan los datos por medio de un software estadístico, que permite correlacionar las variables y los factores introducidos respecto a los objetivos planteados, para finalmente obtener cuales variables socioeconómicas, de conocimiento, comportamiento y actitud, determinan el nivel de alfabetización financiera de la población objetivo.   The role of women in society, over the years, has been conditioned by various factors, one of which corresponds to access to education, where financial literacy plays a significant role, since it is what determines well-being to a great extent. people's finances. Por consiguiente, se realiza una revisión de literatura, desarrollando una herramienta de medición para la recopilación y análisis de datos por medio de un software estadístico, que permite analizar las variables y los factores considerados. En este trabajo de investigación se presenta un sistema de atención al cliente para supermercados, específicamente en el supermercado Merca Sur 401 ubicado en Bogotá, utilizando IA y aplicaciones multiplataforma que busca compensar las dificultades de comunicación con el cliente. En la actualidad con el surgimiento de nuevos establecimientos dedicados a la venta de víveres y el surgimiento de aplicaciones que ofrecen servicios de venta de víveres de manera online, la manera en que se aborda al cliente es muy importante, esto conlleva a que las empresas deben buscar diferentes alternativas para poseer un valor adicional a los servicios que están ofreciendo actualmente. El proceso de formación en el ciclo profesional involucra espacios académicos diversos para lograr las competencias propuestas por la Universidad ECCI, en lo que tiene que ver con la formación de Tecnólogo en Mecánica Automotriz, es así que se desarrollan practicas con ayudas didácticas, equipos y herramientas en asignaturas especificas tecnológicas donde se dan a conocer los diversos sistemas del vehículo, este proceso es repetitivo con cada grupo de estudiantes de acuerdo al plan de estudios, lo anterior deriva en una desgaste de las ayudas didácticas hasta un punto donde se requiere realizar un proceso de reparación o cambio por baja operatividad. Colombian Forest Monitoring System: Assessing Deforestation in an Environmental Complex Country

Colombia is a key actor related with the adoption of the relevant UNFCC provisions referred in the context of obtaining result-based payments for REDD+ actions. Since 2012, the Colombian Forest Monitoring System (SMByC, Spanish acronym) has generated wall-to-wall historical information about the deforestation process over the last 27 years at national and regional levels. The SMByC generates a methodology that integrates tools for the preprocessing and semi-automated processing of satellite imagery to detect and quantify the loss of forest cover by deforestation. Also, the SMByC has done an extensive literature review, collecting qualitative and quantitative information to identify how the drivers of deforestation (illicit crops, illegal mining and postconflict scenario) could result in an increased forest lost during a postconflict scenario. Given that Colombia is a country conformed by regions that have differentially socioeconomic and environmental conditions, the study shows how the methods could generate official information and specifies the context of deforestation process of those regions

Mitigating the noise of DESI mocks using analytic control variates

In order to address fundamental questions related to the expansion history of the Universe and its primordial nature with the next generation of galaxy experiments, we need to model reliably large-scale structure observables such as the correlation function and the power spectrum. Cosmological $N$-body simulations provide a reference through which we can test our models, but their output suffers from sample variance on large scales. Fortunately, this is the regime where accurate analytic approximations exist. To reduce the variance, which is key to making optimal use of these simulations, we can leverage the accuracy and precision of such analytic descriptions using Control Variates (CV). We apply two control variate formulations to mock catalogs generated in anticipation of upcoming data from the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) to test the robustness of its analysis pipeline. Our CV-reduced measurements, of the power spectrum and correlation function, both pre- and post-reconstruction, offer a factor of 5-10 improvement in the measurement error compared with the raw measurements from the DESI mock catalogs. We explore the relevant properties of the galaxy samples that dictate this reduction and comment on the improvements we find on some of the derived quantities relevant to Baryon Acoustic Oscillation (BAO) analysis. We also provide an optimized package for computing the power spectra and other two-point statistics of an arbitrary galaxy catalog as well as a pipeline for obtaining CV-reduced measurements on any of the AbacusSummit cubic box outputs. We make our scripts, notebooks, and benchmark tests against existing software publicly available and report a speed improvement of a factor of $\sim$10 for a grid size of $N_{\rm mesh} = 256^3$ compared with $\texttt{nbodykit}$.Comment: 15 pages, 9 figures, public package (for power spectrum and control variates estimation

Designing an optimization proposal of the deforestation early-warning system in Colombia: “The heart of the Amazon” case study

ilustraciones, fotografías, graficas, mapasEl objetivo de este estudio es la propuesta de la optimización del sistema de alertas de deforestación de Colombia, se lleva a cabo en tres fases investigativas, la primera, hace un análisis de factores críticos del sistema de alertas de deforestación, la segunda, propone una automatización en la computación en la nube de la detección de deforestación por medio de series temporales de los valores de componentes principales y la tercera, realiza un mapa de actores e identifica los canales de comunicación por medio de la interpretación y análisis de datos cualitativos. La deforestación se detectó por medio de técnicas de machine learning para cada nueva imagen de los satélites Landsat 7, Landsat-8, Sentinel-2 y Sentinel-1 correspondientes al año 2021. Los resultados para la zona de estudio se comunicaron y validaron con los diferentes actores, se encontró que la deforestación tiene exactitudes de usuario altas y precisiones de productor moderadas, lo que indica un producto adecuado para apoyar la gestión de los bosques y las actividades de las instituciones. Así mismo se concluye que se deben realizar ajustes institucionales, normativos y financieros que doten al Estado de los instrumentos necesarios para la gestión de los bosques y la efectiva reducción y control de la deforestación en Colombia. (Texto tomado de la fuente)The purpose of this study is the design of an optimization proposal for the deforestation early-alert system in Colombia. The study occurred in three phases: (1) analyzing the critical factors of the early-warning system; (2) proposing an automation process on the cloud for detecting deforestation through temporal series of the values of main components; and (3) mapping identifying all key actors and communication channels through qualitative data analysis. Deforestation was detected using Machine Learning techniques for each new image of the Landsat 7, Landsat-8, Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-1 satellites corresponding to 2021. The results were communicated and validated with all the involved actors. Deforestation has very high user accuracies and moderately high producer accuracies, which indicates an adequate product to support forest management and institutional activities.
