Multiobjective Optimization of Fuzzy System for Cardiovascular Risk Classification

Dado que las enfermedades cardiovasculares (ECV) plantean una preocupación mundial crítica, la identificación de los factores de riesgo asociados sigue siendo un foco de investigación fundamental. Este estudio tiene como objetivo proponer y optimizar un sistema difuso para la clasificación del riesgo cardiovascular (RCV) utilizando un enfoque multiobjetivo, abordando aspectos computacionales como la configuración del sistema difuso, el proceso de optimización, la selección de una solución adecuada a partir del frente de Pareto óptimo, y la interpretabilidad del sistema de lógica difusa después del proceso de optimización. El sistema propuesto utiliza datos, incluida la edad, el peso, la altura, el sexo y la presión arterial sistólica para determinar el riesgo cardiovascular. El modelo difuso se basa en información preliminar de la literatura; por lo tanto, para ajustar el sistema de lógica difusa utilizando un enfoque multiobjetivo, el índice de masa corporal (IMC) se considera como un resultado adicional ya que hay datos disponibles para este índice, y el índice de masa corporal se reconoce como un indicador aproximado del riesgo cardiovascular dada la propensión a sufrir enfermedades cardiovasculares. Estas enfermedades se atribuyen al exceso de tejido adiposo, que puede elevar la presión arterial, los niveles de colesterol y triglicéridos, provocando daño arterial y cardíaco. Al emplear un enfoque multiobjetivo, el estudio pretende obtener un equilibrio entre los dos resultados correspondientes a la clasificación de riesgo cardiovascular y el índice de masa corporal. Para la optimización multiobjetivo se propone un conjunto de experimentos que arrojan como resultado un frente de Pareto óptimo para posteriormente determinar la solución adecuada. Los resultados muestran una adecuada optimización del sistema de lógica difusa, permitiendo la interpretabilidad de los conjuntos difusos luego de realizar el proceso de optimización. De esta manera, este artículo contribuye al avance del uso de técnicas computacionales en el ámbito médico.Since cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) pose a critical global concern, identifying associated risk factors remains a pivotal research focus. This study aims to propose and optimize a fuzzy system for cardiovascular risk (CVR) classification using a multiobjective approach, addressing computational aspects such as the configuration of the fuzzy system, the optimization process, the selection of a suitable solution from the optimal Pareto front, and the interpretability of the fuzzy logic system after the optimization process. The proposed system utilizes data, including age, weight, height, gender, and systolic blood pressure to determine cardiovascular risk. The fuzzy model is based on preliminary information from the literature; therefore, to adjust the fuzzy logic system using a multiobjective approach, the body mass index (BMI) is considered as an additional output as data are available for this index, and body mass index is acknowledged as a proxy for cardiovascular risk given the propensity for these diseases attributed to surplus adipose tissue, which can elevate blood pressure, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels, leading to arterial and cardiac damage. By employing a multiobjective approach, the study aims to obtain a balance between the two outputs corresponding to cardiovascular risk classification and body mass index. For the multiobjective optimization, a set of experiments is proposed that render an optimal Pareto front, as a result, to later determine the appropriate solution. The results show an adequate optimization of the fuzzy logic system, allowing the interpretability of the fuzzy sets after carrying out the optimization process. In this way, this paper contributes to the advancement of the use of computational techniques in the medical domain

Memories of dance in Vereda los Soches (1860-1970) through the stories, cultural objectives and the dance experience of Virginia Martínez Solórzano

Desde la llegada de los primeros pobladores a la vereda Los Soches (Usme) se ha consolidado una tradición alrededor del encuentro festivo. La comida, el trago, la danza y la música han gestado una forma específica de relación con el mundo y han sido el soporte cultural de los campesinos y campesinas que habitan la vereda. Los portadores y portadoras del saber de la danza conservan memorias relacionadas con esta expresión que inició en las chicherías y que fue evolucionando, al mismo tiempo, con el vestuario y los géneros musicales que se introdujeron a través de la radio. La inmersión en el territorio, que se gestó a partir del diálogo de saberes campesinos, permitió encontrar en Virginia Martínez Solórzano, la mujer más longeva de la vereda, una construcción de vida en torno al trabajo, a la danza y el encuentro festivo. El acercamiento en calidad de bisnieto y futuro licenciado permitió consolidar sus memorias, y la de otros habitantes, con el ánimo de construir una visión del territorio campesino de Los Soches a partir de la tradición festiva.Since the arrival of the first settlers to the village Los Soches (Usme) has consolidated a tradition around the festive meeting. Contributions of Neuroeducation to the Escuela Nueva Pedagogical Model

Aportes de la neuroeducación al modelo pedagógico Escuela Nueva, para mejorar el enfoque escritural, busca rastrear aquellos elementos que de forma directa o indirecta afectan el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Por un lado, se profundiza desde la individualidad de cada estudiante por medio de estrategias diseñadas por la Neuroeducación para usar estímulos cerebrales y por otro lado se profundiza sobre los beneficios de la Escuela Nueva, la cual desarrolla ampliamente el crecimiento intersubjetivo por medio de una construcción social entre diversas edades y diversos actores que circundan el aula. El trabajo de investigación no solo plantea posibles conexiones entre estas dos formas de enseñanza, también profundiza sobre el proceso de escritura ayudado por estos dos enfoques con el objetivo de mejorar la experiencia en el proceso de enseñanza y garantizar mayores aprendizajes significativos en los estudiantes adscritos a la escuela nueva en Bogotá.Contributions of neuroeducation to the new school pedagogical model, to improve the scriptural approach, seek to track those elements that directly or indirectly occur in the teaching and learning process. Experimental determination of the heat of formation of 2,3-dimercaptopropanol from its heat of comparison and combustion with computational values

Esta monografía contiene los resultados obtenidos del cálculo experimental del Calor de combustión y el Calor de formación del Dimercaprol. Para ello, se verificó inicialmente que el calorímetro LABSYS PRO IKA C 2000 estuviera en óptimas condiciones utilizando ácido benzoico sólido para observar la diferencia entre los valores experimentales con los teóricos. Posteriormente, se pesó la cantidad de Dimercaprol a combustionar y se procedió a introducirla en el equipo para efectuar la medición del calor de combustión. Luego, se realizó una titulación de la solución de lavado del vaso calorimétrico, utilizando NaOH 0,78 M como patrón primario y Fenolftaleína como indicador. Finalmente, se compararon los resultados de las lecturas con los valores computacionales para validarlos. Los resultados obtenidos muestran un calor neto de combustión del Dimercaprol de 25476 J/g para una muestra, un calor de formación del H2SO4 de -507,6 cal y un calor total de formación de -39594,9 cal/mol. El contraste con los valores computacionales refleja una diferencia de -5.99 kcal/mol para el calor de formación del Dimercaprol, volviéndose materia de investigación y validez para resultados posteriores. Este estudio busca promover la investigación hacia las propiedades termoquímicas del Dimercaprol, con el fin de ampliar las bases de datos y referencias que existen actualmente.This monograph contains the results obtained from the experimental calculation of the Heat of combustion and the Heat of formation of Dimercaprol. For this, it was initially verified that the LABSYS PRO IKA C 2000 calorimeter was in optimal conditions using solid benzoic acid to observe the difference between the experimental and theoretical values. Subsequently, the amount of Dimercaprol to be combusted was weighed and proceeded to introduce it into the equipment to measure the heat of combustion. Then, a titration of the washing solution of the calorimetric vessel was carried out, using 0.78 M NaOH as primary standard and Phenolphthalein as indicator. Finally, the results of the readings were compared with the computational values ​​to validate them. The results obtained show a net heat of combustion of Dimercaprol of 25476 J/g for one sample, a heat of formation of H2SO4 of -507.6 cal and a total heat of formation of -39594.9 cal/mol. The contrast with the computational values ​​reflects a difference of -5.99 kcal/mol for the heat of formation of Dimercaprol, becoming a matter of investigation and validity for subsequent results. El informe de pasantías tiene la finalidad de mostrar el proceso que se logró desarrollar con la población del CADIS, en donde se realizó un plan piloto (inicial) del curso denominado Alfabetización integral, el cual busca que (3) tres áreas del conocimiento (artes, matemáticas y lengua castellana) dialoguen y generen un espacio interdisciplinar académico para dar las bases de un proceso de alfabetización a la población con discapacidad cognitiva. Por ende el área de educación artística se plantea un plan de trabajo que permita dialogar con esta población y sus experiencias a través de los diferentes lenguajes del arte, en donde sé logra un enfoque a nivel plástico y escénico.The internship report aims to show the process that was developed with the population of CADIS, where a pilot (initial) plan of the course called Integral Literacy was made, which seeks that (3) three areas of knowledge (arts, mathematics and Spanish) dialogue and create an interdisciplinary academic space to give the foundations of a literacy process to the population with cognitive disabilities. Restoration and commissioning of the vacuum generator bank through the venturi effect of the Technological faculty

Este proyecto se basa en la restauración y puesta en funcionamiento del equipo generador de vacío por medio del efecto venturi. Inicialmente, se pondrá en contexto al lector sobre el equipo del cuál se trabajará, así mismo, se explicará porqué su composición contiene un tubo venturi que hace posible la generación de vacío. Luego se encuentran explicados los antecedentes y justificación que suministran la ejecución al desarrollo de este trabajo; del mismo modo las ventajas y desventajas que se obtienen al dar solución al problema planteado y quiénes serán los beneficiarios de esta solución. Es notable en el marco teórico del documento la explicación detallada de gran parte de los componentes del presente equipo; ejecutando el objetivo general y describiendo la manera en que se va llevando a cabo el proceso restaurativo del generador. Por otra parte, se menciona la implementación de un nuevo sistema electrónico el cuál será regulado por medio de un microcontrolador Arduino, observando a detalle cómo se realiza el diseño, montaje e implementación del mismo. Para finalizar se encontrarán las dos guías de laboratorio para la puesta en práctica del equipo. Brindando de este modo un mejor contenido y suministro al docente y estudiante, se da la ejecución y desarrollo de las ya mencionadas, obteniendo y plasmando así los resultados encontrados, y esperados cuando se realicen actividades similares. De igual manera, se observa el manual de mantenimiento que facilita y permite una mejor conservación del equipo, si se sigue a detalle las pautas allí estipuladas.This project is based on the restoration and putting into operation of the vacuum generating equipment through the venturi effect. From the territory to the city acculturation and construction of social imaginaries about urban school of indegenous childhood

El documento aquí contenido es una apuesta investigativa que se inscribe en la línea de los imaginarios sociales sobre escuela urbana que ha construido un grupo de niños y niñas pertenecientes a diferentes comunidades indígenas, en la Institución Educativa Distrital Antonio José Uribe, con la intencionalidad de reconocer, en las prácticas educativas, algunos elementos del proceso de aculturación y cómo estos inciden en la participación de los sujetos, teniendo en cuenta los pueblos originarios y la configuración de su realidad, su cosmogonía, las formas particulares de vivir en su territorio, que atiende a la construcción de significados desde la oralidad, en su lengua materna y las prácticas aprendidas, heredadas, transmitidas transgeneracionalmente, forjando características identitarias de reconocimiento. Los estudios sobre el campo de la infancia se relacionan en este contexto, en tanto sitúan a las niñas y los niños como los sujetos de investigación que reconfiguran sus imaginarios y representaciones sociales para adaptarse al escenario educativo al que se vinculan, por situaciones circunstanciales, por lo general caracterizado por fundamentos occidentalizados, como el currículo, los sistemas de evaluación, el manual de convivencia, lo cual deriva en prácticas estandarizadas y de carácter homogeneizante que desconocen el acervo cultural y conllevan a la adaptación y adopción de las dinámicas institucionales, en lo que aquí se denomina: proceso de aculturación. Por ello, la pretensión principal de este proyecto es reconocer las representaciones, los sentimientos, afectos, deseos y acciones que sobre escuela urbana elaboran los niños y las niñas de comunidad indígena en la IED.The document contained herein is a research proposal that is inscribed in the line of social imaginaries on urban school that has been built by a group of children belonging to different indigenous communities, in the District Educational Institution Antonio José Uribe, with the intention of recognizing, in educational practices, some elements of the acculturation process and how these affect the participation of the subjects. Studies on the field of childhood are related to this context, insofar as they situate girls and boys as research subjects who reconfigure their imaginaries and social representations to adapt to the educational scenario to which they are linked, due to circumstantial situations, generally characterized by westernized foundations, such as the curriculum, the evaluation systems, the coexistence manual, which derives in standardized and homogenizing practices that ignore the cultural heritage and lead to the adaptation and adoption of the institutional dynamics, in what is denoted here as the "cultural heritage"

Didactic proposal to strengthen the teaching of physics based on phenomena through the use of the interactive blog in the tenth grade of the Colegio Militar Liceo Social Compartir Soacha - Cundinamarca

Uno de los desafíos que la sociedad plantea hoy al sistema educativo y por supuesto a los profesores, es el desarrollo del potencial creativo, al igual como se hace con la memoria u otras facultades del ser humano. En muchas ocasiones la solución de problemas se mecaniza de tal forma, que un estudiante puede resolver un problema de Física correctamente desde lo cuantitativo, pero no sabe explicar la esencia del fenómeno con el cual se relaciona, las leyes y/o categorías que lo sustentan. Para lograr una adecuada relación entre significados y sentidos, es imprescindible la unidad de la teoría con la práctica. Por tal razón, con la presente investigación se buscó fortalecer la enseñanza de la física basada en fenómenos mediante el uso del blog como herramienta de mediación pedagógica, en el grado décimo del Colegio Militar Liceo Social Compartir Soacha – Cundinamarca. Bajo una metodología cualitativa, con un enfoque fenomenológico-hermenéutico, donde se parte de la observación directa y la utilización de diarios de campo, buscando resaltar, la experiencia personal de cada uno de los estudiantes, y de esta manera, se recolectó datos que no se expresan numéricamente. Además, los instrumentos utilizados fueron, la observación directa acompañada del grupo focal, reposadas en los diarios de campo y la revisión documental como soporte de la investigación. Dentro de los hallazgos encontrados, se evidenció dificultades en el desarrollo de las habilidades científicas y poco interés por parte de los educandos en su proceso de aprendizaje. Sin embargo, luego de la aplicación de la estrategia didáctica, se logró avances significativos en la parte cognitiva del estudiante, haciendo del uso de las herramientas Tic un mecanismo de afianzamiento de los procesos educativos.One of the challenges that society poses today to the educational system and of course to teachers, is the development of creative potential, just as it is done with memory or other faculties of the human being. On many occasions, problem solving is mechanized in such a way that a student can solve a Physics problem correctly from the quantitative point of view, but does not know how to explain the essence of the phenomenon with which it is related, the laws and/or categories that support it. To achieve an adequate relationship between meanings and senses, the unity of theory with practice is essential. For this reason, with the present investigation we sought to strengthen the teaching of physics based on phenomena through the use of the blog as a pedagogical mediation tool, in the tenth grade of the Military College Liceo Social Compartir Soacha - Cundinamarca. Under a qualitative methodology, with a phenomenological-hermeneutic approach, which starts from direct observation and the use of field diaries, seeking to highlight the personal experience of each one of the students, and in this way, data was collected that was not They are expressed numerically. In addition, the instruments used were direct observation accompanied by the focus group, based on field diaries and documentary review as research support. Within the findings found, difficulties in the development of scientific skills and little interest on the part of the students in their learning process were evidenced. However, after the application of the didactic strategy, significant advances were made in the cognitive part of the student, making the use of ICT tools a mechanism for strengthening educational processes
