This is a survey on disjointly homogeneous Banach lattices and their applicactions. Several structural properties of this class are analyzed. Applicable law to the merits of investment treaties disputes

En este trabajo se analizará cuál es el derecho aplicable al fondo de la controversia de un arbitraje surgido de un Tratado de Inversiones. A lo largo del artículo se tratará de demostrar que la fuente primaria aplicable al fondo de la controversia, será el mismo Tratado de Inversión, seguido por un análisis del rol que tendrá el derecho local al momento de resolver la controversia. Lo mismo se hará respecto al resto de normas del derecho internacional y la manera en como dichas normas se integran para ser aplicadas por los árbitros al momento de resolver la controversia.In the present work I will analyze the law applicable to merits of an investment dispute originated under an Investmnet treaty, through out the article it will be established that the proper law to resolve that dispute it is the investment treaty itself. Social learning as a requirement for rural development: The connectivity of Salinas, San Luis Potosí

It is postulated that communities using social learning on rural planning will achieve sustainable development. The construction of roads integrates geographic spaces and it is a requirement for competitiveness and development of the communities. In Mexico, the construction of roads and its improvement use existing ways originated by the transfer of cattle or the pathways drawn over past times, without considering any municipal or local development plan. One looked for to define a reference frame on the importance of the ways, first in Mexico, the state of San Luis Potosí and the behavior of investment in the municipality of Salinas de Hidalgo, San Luis Potosí and to outline an intervention method that allows to design criteria for the decision in the road construction using like planning tool the social learning. Any alternative of road selection it is desirable that should include local actors weighting their needs along with the technical criteria as well under an IPMA competence baseline schem

The role of aversiveness in the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty and inflexible avoidance

The study of avoidance behaviour is considered relevant to improve our understanding of anxiety disorders, which are commonly characterized by the presence of undue avoidance behaviours. Flores et al. (2018) found evidence that Prospective Intolerance of Uncertainty (P-IU) is associated with inflexible avoidance behaviour. Specifically, healthy participants learned in a free-operant discriminative task to avoid an aversive sound, and were tested in extinction to measure the sensitivity of avoidance responses to the devaluation of the sound aversiveness. The results showed that an increase in P-IU was positively associated with insensitivity to outcome devaluation. This association was still significant even when trait anxiety was controlled for. These results suggested that PIU may be a vulnerability factor for inflexible avoidance. However, in a recent replication, we found that the relationship between P-IU and inflexible avoidance was moderated by the participants ratings of outcome aversiveness. Specifically, the significant association between PIU and insensitivity to outcome devaluation was found to be conditional upon high aversiveness ratings.Universidad de Málaga. Inclusion of Low Income Sectors in Latin American Agribusiness

We examine three case studies on agribusiness ventures that have included low income sectors (LIS) into value creation activities to reduce poverty in Latin America. While the goal for each agribusiness is economic profit, we find that this goal is not inconsistent with wealth creation among LIS. El uso de las gráficas en el discurso matemático escolar: un estudio socioepistemológico en el nivel básico a través de los libros de texto

La siguiente investigación contribuye al planteamiento fundacional de la aproximación socioepistemológica, la cual consiste en considerar a las prácticas sociales como los elementos constituyentes del conocimiento matemático: ¿qué es lo que norma lo que se construye como conocimiento matemático? Tal planteamiento ofrece indica- dores para desarrollar una matemática funcional en el sistema educativo. Realizamos así un estudio del uso de las gráficas en el discurso matemático escolar (dme), el cual consiste en comprender a la graficación como una práctica social en su proceso institucional y no como una representación del concepto de función. Dicho estudio lo realizamos a través de los libros de texto del nivel básico para ir creando un marco de referencia que ayude a resignificar el conocimiento matemático en cuestión
