Uniqueness and flow theorems for solutions of SDEs with low regularity of the drift.
We prove existence and uniqueness of strong solutions to stochastic differential equations with unit diffusion and singular time dependent drift b. We only assume an integrability condition on b, and show the existence of a semiflow for the solution
Stability of solitons under rapidly oscillating random perturbations of the initial conditions
We use the inverse scattering transform and a diffusion approximation limit
theorem to study the stability of soliton components of the solution of the
nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger and Korteweg-de Vries equations under random
perturbations of the initial conditions: for a wide class of rapidly
oscillating random perturbations this problem reduces to the study of a
canonical system of stochastic differential equations which depends only on the
integrated covariance of the perturbation. We finally study the problem when
the perturbation is weak, which allows us to analyze the stability of solitons
quantitatively.Comment: Published in at http://dx.doi.org/10.1214/13-AAP931 the Annals of

Regularity of Stochastic Kinetic Equations
We consider regularity properties of stochastic kinetic equations with
multiplicative noise and drift term which belongs to a space of mixed
regularity (-regularity in the velocity-variable and Sobolev regularity in
the space-variable). We prove that, in contrast with the deterministic case,
the SPDE admits a unique weakly differentiable solution which preserves a
certain degree of Sobolev regularity of the initial condition without
developing discontinuities. To prove the result we also study the related
degenerate Kolmogorov equation in Bessel-Sobolev spaces and construct a
suitable stochastic flow

High frequency analysis of imaging with noise blending
International audienceWe consider sensor array imaging for simultaneous noise blended sources. We study a migration imaging functional and we analyze its sensitivity to singular perturbations of the speed of propagation of the medium. We consider two kinds of random sources: randomly delayed pulses and stationary random processes, and three possible kinds of perturbations. Using high frequency analysis we prove the statistical stability (with respect to the realization of the noise blending) of the scheme and obtain quantitative results on the image contrast provided by the imaging functional, which strongly depends on the type of perturbations
Partial Differential Equation and Noise
In this work we present examples of the effects of noise on the solution of a partial differential equation (PDE) in three different settings. We will first consider random initial conditions for two nonlinear dispersive PDEs, the nonlinear Schrödinger equation and the Korteweg - de Vries equation, and analyze their effects on some special solutions, the soliton solutions. The second case considered is a linear PDE, the wave equation, with random initial condi- tions. We will show that special random initial conditions allow to substantially decrease the computational and data storage costs of an algorithm to solve the inverse problem based on the boundary measurements of the solution of this equation. Finally, the third example considered is that of the linear transport equation with a singular drift term, where we will show that the addition of a multiplicative noise term forbids the blow up of solutions, under very weak hypothesis for which we have finite-time blow up of solutions in the deterministic case.

On a class of stochastic transport equations for L^2_loc vector fields
We study in this article the existence and uniqueness of solutions to a class of stochastic transport equations with irregular coefficients. Asking only boundedness of the divergence of the coefficients (a classical condition in both the deterministic and stochastic setting), we can lower the integrability regularity required in known results on the coefficients themselves and on the initial condition, and still prove uniqueness of solutions
