Transitivity in Linguistics Abstracts Papers of 2nd LLTC by ELESP

In linguistic field, transitivity is widely used to analyze newspaper, short stories, novels or other discourses to construe the ideology of the discourses. This research aims to analyze the transitivity processes in abstracts. The data are obtained from abstract papers submitted in 2nd LLTC held by ELESP Sanata Dharma University. The data are analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative methods since the research provides the descriptive analysis based on the percentage of occurrence of the findings. There are five abstracts chosen randomly from twenty linguistics abstracts. The results show that (1) there are six transitivity processes analyzed; material (62.4%), relational (24.7%), verbal (5.4%), mental (4.3%), behavior (3.2%), existential (1.1%) and (2) there thirteen circumstantial elements with the highest percentage is place (54.4%), and the least are frequency, commutative, and matter (1.3% for each). The presence of people who are quite potential as influencers can certainly have an effect in providing an impact or information that will immediately spread to the community. Some of them are equipped with good rhetoric skills. Rhetoric itself is the ability to persuade someone through a given message or gesture, one of which is in the form of a campaign. The ability to rhetoric itself is important for a communicator to do so that messages or information can be conveyed properly to the audience. Likewise what happened to a member of the band SID (Superman Is Dead), who recently became a conversation because of his actions that spread messages through his personal Instagram account. Many responses came from internet users, both pros and cons. Jerinx, or whose real name is I Gede Ari Astina, once uploaded his statement regarding a case related to a pandemic which certainly caused a commotion to the public. However, not a few of them thought hard about Jerinx's opinion, who said that "IDI is a WHO worker". This statement he made was further strengthened when his legal authority spoke to the public if Jerinx had previously asked the IDI (Indonesian Doctors' Association) to speak privately and explain the real situation in Indonesia today. But unfortunately the invitation has not been fulfilled. Of course, this post made by Jerinx in digital media makes the public more aware and thinks twice about the phenomena that exist in the pandemic era and sort out which information is appropriate or not

THE IMPACT OF WORK-FAMILY CONFLICT TOWARD JOB PERFORMANCE – THE CASE OF EXTERNAL AUDITOR

The purpose of this study is to explain about how work-family conflict affects auditor which in this case is job performance. Further, this study also investigates the mediating relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The research is done using 30-items instrument that are given to public accounting firms that listed in IAI. Demographic profiles asked are gender, working experience, education, living with family, and public accounting firm. The analysis was performed on 82 responses using SEM analysis to find out the relationship between variables and how do they imply in auditors who live in JABODETABEK. While some of the previous research found that job satisfaction had insignificant relationship with job performance, analysis showed that work-family conflict had significant negative relationship with  job  satisfaction  and  organizational commitment. The next result suggested that job satisfaction and organizational commitment had significant positive relationship with job performance. Analysis also indicated that job satisfaction and organizational commitment mediates relationship between independent variable and dependent variable partially. Kepuasan Pernikahan pada Perkawinan Matrilineal: Bagaimana peranan keterbukaan diri dan kematangan emosi?

This study uses a quantitative correlational research design to determine (1) the relationship between self-disclosure and emotional maturity with marital satisfaction in matrilineal marriages in Ngada District (2) the relationship between self-disclosure and marital satisfaction in matrilineal marriages in Ngada District (3) the relationship between emotional maturity and marital satisfaction of husband and wife in matrilineal marriages in Ngada District. Sampling in this study using non-probability sampling using purposive sampling technique. The population in this study were married couples in Ngada Regency who were married in a matrilineal manner with a minimum age of 5 years of marriage. The subjects of this study amounted to 102 people. The analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis to determine the direction and influence of self-disclosure and emotional maturity on marital satisfaction in matrilineal marriages in Ngada District. Measuring tools used in the form of a scale of marital satisfaction, a scale of self-disclosure and a scale of emotional maturity. The results of this study reveal that self-disclosure and emotional maturity have a significant influence on marital satisfaction in matrilineal marriages in Ngada District, both partially and simultaneously

Alat Ukur Curah Hujan Tipping-Bucket Sederhana dan Murah Berbasis Mikrokontroler

Telah dirancang dan dibangun alat pengukur curah hujan tipe tipping-bucket (TB) berbasis mikrokontroler AT89S8252. Alat ini menghasilkan tetesan 0,21 mm untuk daerah tabung kecil terpancang sebagai penerima tetesan (tipping-bucket/TB) dari kerucut penampung air hujan seluas 2837,54 mm2. Untuk mencacah TB-nya, sensor tipe reed switch digunakan dan dibaca oleh data logger berbasis mikrokontroler AT89S8252. Data logger tersebut dilengkapi sebuah real time clock dan komunikasi serial agar dapat mengirimkan data ke komputer. Curah hujan maksimum yang bisa diukur adalah 914,4 mm/jam. Kata kunci: Curah hujan, sensor reed switch, mikrokontroler AT89S8252AbstractA Tipping-bucket (TB) rain gauge using AT89S8252 microcontroller has been designed and built. This device produces 0,21 mm drops of water for the small tube receiver (tipping bucket/TB) from the rain water cone area of 2837,54 mm2. Reed switch sensor is used for sampling TB and the sampling data will be read by data logger system using AT89S8252 microcontroller. Data logger system is provided with real time clock and communication serial for sending the data to the computer. Pengaruh mekanisme corporate governance, audit tenure, dan kualitas audit terhadap nilai perusahaan

This research needs to be done to review the value of a good company in the presence of several factors. These factors include good corporate governance: managerial ownership, independent commissioners, institutional ownership, audit tenure, audit committee, and audit quality. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of corporate governance mechanisms on firm value, with firm size, leverage, and profitability as control variables. All manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019–2021 are the population of this study. The sample selection applied purposive sampling and obtained 393 data. Multiple linear regression analysis was used in this study. The results showed that there is an effect of managerial ownership, independent commissioners, and audit tenure on firm value. Meanwhile, institutional ownership, audit committee, and audit quality have no effect on firm value. Furthermore, all control variables affect firm value

Standardisasi dan Uji Aktivitas Antioksidan Ekstrak Bahan Alam Propolis untuk Terapi Infeksi SARS-CoV2

Natural ingredients with immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant activities can be used as supportive therapy for SARS-CoV2 infection. The aims were standardized the quality and safety of propolis and determined the antioxidant activity of propolis. There are two types of propolis powder samples: microencapsulated propolis powder containing wax (SMPW) and non-waxed (SMP). Standardization includes specific and non-specific parameters. Antioxidant activity test using FRAP and ABTS methods. The total flavonoids of SMPW and SMP were 0.31% and 1.59%. The total phenolic of SMPW and SMP were 83.9082 and 98.0821 mg GAE/g. The losses on drying of SMPW and SMP were 3.65% and 3.88%. The water content of SMPW and SMP were 5.12% and 5.11%. The total ash content of SMPW and SMP were 0.80% and 0.65%. Heavy metal propolis powder negative. ALT and AKK values < 10 CFU/g, microbiology contamination was negative. Antioxidant activity of SMPW with IC50 ABTS 2.4177 ppm and EC50 FRAP 26.41 g/mL. Meanwhile, the antioxidant activity of SMP with IC50 ABTS 2.213 ppm and EC50 FRAP 32.10 g/mL. It was concluded that the extract of propolis met the requirements of the standard for extracts of natural ingredients and had strong antioxidant activity. Propolis powder can be developed for supportive therapy for SARS-CoV2 infection.Bahan alam dengan aktivitas imunomodulator, antiinflamasi, dan antioksidan dapat digunakan sebagai terapi suportif infeksi SARS-CoV2. Tujuan penelitian standardisasi mutu dan keamanan propolis sebagai bahan baku obat terapi suportif Covid-19 serta uji aktivitas propolis sebagai antioksidan. Sampel serbuk propolis terdiri dari dua jenis: serbuk mikroenkapsulasi propolis mengandung wax (SMPW) dan non wax (SMP). Standardisasi meliputi parameter spesifik dan non spesifik. Uji aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode FRAP dan ABTS. Kadar total flavonoid SMPW dan SMP sebesar 0,31% dan 1,59%. Kadar total fenolik SMPW dan SMP sebesar 83,9082 dan 98,0821 mg GAE/g. Susut pengeringan SMPW dan SMP sebesar 3,65% dan 3,88%. Kadar air SMPW dan SMP sebesar 5,12% dan 5,11%. Kadar abu total SMPW dan SMP sebesar 0,80% dan 0,65%. Logam berat serbuk propolis negatif. Nilai ALT dan AKK < 10 CFU/g, cemaran E. Coli, S. aureus, Salmonella spp dan P. aeruginusa negatif. Aktivitas antioksidan SMPW dengan IC50 ABTS 2,4177 bpj dan EC50 FRAP 26,41 μg/mL. Sedangkan, aktivitas antioksidan SMP dengan IC50 ABTS 2,213 bpj dan EC50 FRAP 32,10 μg/mL. Disimpulkan ekstrak bahan alam propolis memenuhi persyaratan standard ekstrak bahan alam dan memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang kuat. Serbuk EBA propolis dapat dikembangkan menjadi bahan baku untuk OHT terapi suportif infeksi SARS-CoV2

Employer branding-arbete inom den offentliga sektorn, Exemplet: Helsingborgs stad

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur nyanställda upplever att en offentlig organisation arbetar för att attrahera och behålla sina medarbetare, utifrån ett employer branding-perspektiv. Även en jämförelse genomfördes för att ta reda på om organisationens profil stämmer överens med vad nyanställda i denna organisation anser om sin arbetsgivare. Studien gjordes som en fallstudie där en kvalitativ metod användes. Dokument från Helsingborgs stad studerades för att kartlägga organisationens profil och nio nyanställda medarbetare inom Helsingborgs stad intervjuades. Intervjumaterialet analyserades och sex kategorier togs ut. I studien framkom en tydlig överensstämmelse mellan Helsingborgs stads profil och vad de nyanställda ansåg om sin arbetsgivare. Detta visar på att Helsingborgs stads interna employer branding-arbete i stora delar förmedlats ut till de intervjudeltagare som börjat arbeta i organisationen. Dock uppgav några intervjupersoner att de visste väldigt lite om organisationen innan de började arbeta där. Majoriteten av de intervjuade ansåg dessutom att det främst var tjänsten som gjorde att de påbörjade sin anställning

Electroretinogram changes before and after silicone oil removal in eyes with macula-off rhegmatogenous retinal detachment

Background: Pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) with silicone oil (SO) injection for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) repair may adversely affect electroretinographic responses. This study was aimed at assessing retinal function using electrodiagnostic testing after successful PPV with SO tamponade in the eyes with macula-off RRD. Methods: In this interventional comparative study, eligible participants were recruited prospectively over 1 year. We included the eyes that underwent a single successful three-port PPV with SO tamponade for the primary repair of macula-off RRD. Full-field electroretinogram (ffERG) and multifocal electroretinogram (mfERG) were recorded 1 day before and 3 days after SO removal. The amplitude and implicit time of the a- and b-waves for ffERG and P1 and N1 waves for mfERG were evaluated. The unaffected fellow eyes of the patients were selected as controls. Results: We included the ten eyes of ten patients (seven men and three women) with a mean (standard deviation) age of 58.8 (6.2) years. The mean (SD) interval between the diagnoses of macula-off RRD and PPV was 11.7 (3.6) days. The mean (SD) duration of SO tamponade was 147.8 (34.9) days. Using ffERG, significantly lower a- and b-wave amplitudes were found in the eyes before and after SO removal or compared to the unaffected fellow eyes (all P < 0.05). Using the mfERG, treated eyes had significantly lower P1 amplitudes in the central R1+R2+R3 rings and in the R4 and-R5 peripheral rings of the macular area in the eyes before and after SO removal or compared to the unaffected fellow eyes (all P < 0.05). The wave implicit time in ffERG and mfERG did not differ significantly in the eyes before and after SO removal or compared to the unaffected fellow eyes (all P > 0.05). Conclusions: The electrical retinal response density in ERG waveforms increased following SO removal, indicating amelioration of the electrical activity of the retina and macula. These results indicate that the adverse effects of SO tamponade on electroretinography responses may be reversible with removal. In addition, ffERG and mfERG can be used to monitor retinal function in the eyes with macula-off RRD and SO tamponade. Further clinical trials are required to verify the preliminary findings of this study

Application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for Micro-Small and Medium Enterprises Agricultural in West Java

Agricultural Micro-Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in maintaining national food security. In terms of sources of economic growth, the agricultural sector is the largest contributor to West Java's economic growth in the first quarter of 2021. The agricultural business sector contributed as much as 0.94%, greater than its contribution in the fourth quarter of 2020 which amounted to 0.39%. MSMEs still have external and internal constraints, especially in terms of financing, product marketing, and lack of access to information. These constraints often hinder MSMEs in developing their business and expanding their market share. From various cases of marketing agricultural MSME products in West Java, it is necessary to implement technology to market agricultural commodities. One of them is a map application, which is useful in providing the location of agricultural MSMEs and how to reach that location from the customer's current location. So that sellers/farmers and buyers can do direct transactions. Therefore, map applications using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) can be used as the alternative technology to solve that problem. While, this research only focuses on generating the map. UAV - DJI Phantom 4 Pro has been used in this research to take images at each location of the sample locations. To control the UAV automatically for each mission, it used Pix4D capture flight plans. The data were processed by Agisoft Metashape Professional software. The location of image data collection was carried out in various areas: a building, an open space area and a real small and medium agriculture enterprises location. Two-dimensional maps and 3D maps of these areas have been successfully created. The average RMS error is 0.17 (2.88 pixels) indicating under 1% of the average error
