En el presente trabajo se pretende ilustrar el islario y la isla desde diversos enfoques —histórico, cultural y lírico— para revelar la complejidad circunstancial de su tratamiento y el intento por descubrir su presencia en las literaturas del mundo, a través de un minucioso estudio de la obra de la escritora alemano-japonesa, Yoko Tawada. Por encima de las diferencias histórico-culturales desveladas en los acercamientos a autores tan disímiles como Benedetto Bordone, Edouard Glissant, José Lezama Lima y Khal Torabully prevalecen las similitudes: la relacionalidad, el movimiento, el imaginario y la resistencia a lo establecido

Las literaturas del mundo bajo el signo de la convivencia. Escribir después del eurocentrismo y el fin de la literatura mundial

El texto parte de la recuperación de los llamados Serments de Strasbourg, en tanto texto ejemplar que permite pensar una literatura bajo el signo de la convivencia a través de la traducción y aceptación de la lengua del otro. A partir de allí, leemos un fin histórico del eurocentrismo y del paradigma de la literatura mundial [Weltliteratur], y la emergencia de un sistema multi-lógico, archipelágico y transareal que denominamos literaturas del mundo. Este trabajo se propone esbozar una conceptualización y una descripción de los principales conceptos y las problemáticas más cruciales de dicho sistema basado en una (pos)filología fundada en el valor de un saber sobre el vivir y el convivir. Abstract The text begins with the recovery of the so-called Serments of Strasbourg, as an exemplary text that allows us to think about literature under the sign of coexistence through the translation and acceptance of the language of the other. From there, we read a historical end of Eurocentrism and the paradigm of world literature [Weltliteratur], and the emergence of a multi-logical, archipelagic and transareal system that we call world literatures. This work aims to outline a conceptualization and a description of the main concepts and the most crucial problems of said system based on a (post)philology founded on the value of knowledge about living and coexisting. Die Vorlesung präsentiert im Überblick die Romanischen Literaturen der Welt auf ihrem Weg von den historischen Avantgarden zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts bis zu den Literaturen nach der Postmoderne zu Beginn unseres Jahrhunderts. Sie erfasst damit einen historischen Zeit-Raum, der etwas mehr als ein gesamtes Jahrhundert einschließt, sowie zugleich eine territorialisierbare Raum-Zeit, welche eine ungeheure Mannigfaltigkeit an literarischen Entwicklungen nicht allein in den romanischen Literaturen Europas, sondern auch weiter Gebiete der außereuropäischen Welt miteinschließt
