    Konfigurasi Aktor dan Instisusi Politik dalam Penetapan Bakal Calon Kepala Daerah pada Pilkada Kota Pekanbaru Tahun 2017

    Pemilihan Kepala Daerah di samping merupakan prosedur dan mekanisme pendelegasian kedaulatan rakyat kepada penyelenggara Negara, juga yang terpenting merupakan prosedur dan mekanisme Perubahan politik secara tertib dan periodik, baik Perubahan sirkulasi elit, maupun arah dan pola kebijakan politik. Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa Partai Politik masih menjadi media yang paling dominan dalam Pilkada bahkan dalam kasus di Provinsi Riau belum ada satupun ruang politik dari jalur independen yang berhasil memenangkan kontestasi politik Pilkada di Riau. Dominannya partai politik itu menjadikan partai hegemoni dalam menetapkan kandidat termasuk Partai Amanat Nasional pada Pilkada Kota Pekanbaru 2017. Kajian ini secara spesifik melihat konfigurasi aktor dan peran institusi partai politik dalam penetapan bakal calon kepala daerah sebagai bagian dari mekanisme pendelegasian kedaulatan rakyat kepada penyelenggara negara tersebut. Studi aktor dalam demokrasi lokal dan interaksi aktor dalam ranah politik menjadi konsep pokok yang dikedepankan dalam analisis kajian ini. Selanjutnya, kajian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan penekanan pada interpretasi terhadap fenomena yang dimaksud yaitu konfigurasi aktor dan peran institusi partai politik dalam penetapan bakal calon kepala daerah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konfigurasi aktor dalam penetapan calon Kepala Daerah dari PAN tergambar bahwa aktor daerah (lokal) tidak memiliki pengaruh yang cukup signifikan karena pada akhirnya penetapan calon menjadi domain DPP PAN. Asumsi ini diperkuat dengan diberikannya status kader kepada Irvan Herman yang jelas-jelas belum mengikuti kaderisasi (LKAD) pada Partai Amanat Nasional. Situasi kelembagaan yang timbul akibat penetapan calon Kepala Daerah oleh DPP PAN yakni lemahnya peran DPD atau struktur partai di tingkat lokal dalam mengawal Pasangan Calon yang ditetapkan oleh DPP. Hal itu semakin menguatkan terjadinya politik transaksional dalam penetapan calon kepala daerah oleh Partai Amanat Nasional yang berdampak pada mundurnya demokratisasi di tubuh partai karena semua keputusan strategis partai ada di tangan DPP

    The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of corporate governance on the firm performance of companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange.The sample examined in this research consist of 40 manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2008 to 2012 using purpose sampling as its sample selection techniques. Independent variables from this research are board structure, board committees, board meetings, board size, executive directors and independent non-executive directors. Dependent variables are return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). The analysis method use are the classical assumption test, multiple regression, and the t test. the result of the t test showed, board structure has no effect on corporate performance as measured by return on assets (ROA), but a negative effect on company performance as measured by return on equity (ROE),board committees positive effect on the firm performance, board meetings had no influence on the performance of the company, board size has a positive effect on the firm performance, executive directors do not have an influence on the company\u27s performance as measured by return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE), independent non-executive directors have a negative effect on corporate performance as measured by return on assets (ROA), but does not affect the company\u27s performance as measured by return on equity (ROE)

    Mutation is generally a transfer of employees from one activity to another agency institutions with the aim to improve the efficient and effective operation of the organization concerned . The basic foundation of the process of mutation has been stated in Government Regulation No. 63 Year 2009 on the Authority Appointment , Removal , and Termination of Civil Servants . And the decision of the Civil Service Agency No. 70 / KEP / 2003 on the Delegation of Authority Head of Regional Office for State Personnel Board and the Agreement Establishing the Decree on Civil Service Civil Movements .Activities aimed mutation as a form of refreshment functions and duties . It is very important in improving employee performance , and spur employees to work better with the hope of getting a better position anyway . However, mutations also can be given to employees who excel and also serves as a means of giving sanction for errors or misuse that has been done by employees . There are two factors that cause mutations reasons , namely : (1) On its own desires , (2) Transfer productive tasks .This study was conducted to determine the factors that cause the number of civil servants of the Government mutation Pelalawan to Riau Provincial Government , and to determine whether the employee with a boss proximity factor is a political element in the process of mutation . Location of the study was conducted at the Regional Employment Agency and Employment Board the regency of Riau Province . The research is a qualitative study , with descriptive methods . The nature of this research is a case study .The results showed that the factors causing the number of civil servants of the Government Pelalawan mutation to the provincial government in based on their own with the main reason the family , geographic location , refreshment , and a career path .Keywords : Mutation , Civil Servants , Cause Mutati

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas kehidupan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja Karyawan di PT Toyota Hasjrat Abadi Kota Gorontalo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan di PT Toyota Hasjrat Abadi Kota Gorontalo sebanyak 31 karyawan, sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah sampel jenuh dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel sebanyak 31 orang. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari responden dengan menggunakan instrumen kuisioner. Selanjutnya data yang telah terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan spss serta analisis dengan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikan variabel kualitas kehidupan kerja(X1)  0.000 0.05 artinya variabel kualitas kehidupan mempengaruhi kinerja atau  nilai t-hitung9.114 t-tabel 1.699. hasil R square sebesar 0,741 atau 74.1% variabel kualitas kehidupan kerja memberikan konstribusi untuk mempengaruhi variabel kinerja. Adapun sisanya sebesar 26,9% merupakan faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja seperti disiplin kerja, kompensasi

    Decentralization as a Narrative of Opportunity for Women in Indonesia

    In the past seven years, decentralization has been implemented in Indonesia. Yet, the outcomes show that decentralization has two faces. It marginalizes women but at the same time also provides space for women to redefine their role in local governance. This book offers a gendered analysis of decentralization to capture the efforts of women and women organizations to make decentralization meaningful for their daily life. The first article discusses how the public domain and the political role of women are constructed in local politics and how this construction has impacted the daily life of women. It also discusses various strategies and gender interests defined by women as individuals and as part of a women organization in their efforts to make the government responsive to women's needs. The second article explores the question why have regulations that open up space for citizens in general and women in particular, to participate in planning and budgeting been unable to improve the welfare of the people, including women. This article exposes the politics of budgeting at the local level that has made grassroots groups, including women, frustrated with the Musrenbang bottom up planning mechanism. The third article explores the tensions and cooperation between NGOs that work to promote women's welfare and NGOs that work to promote democratization and good governance. By looking at the experience of thirteen NGOs, this article is making an attempt to assess whether women are really included in the local governance programs. The fourth article looks at how decentralization on the one hand has opened up space for the political participation of women but on the other hand it has also strengthened cultural and religious identities at the local level that discriminate women socially and politically. Finally, the fifth article is based on a thesis that looks at the oral tradition practiced by contemporary Acehnese women in order to understand the resistance of Acehnese women against discourses that marginalize them from the political realm. This thesis attempts to observe the different subjective positions held by women activists in Aceh amidst the various existing discourses constructed based on gender, nationality, and religion

    Mobile ad hoc network testbed using mobile robot technology

    MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network) researchers have shown increased interest in using mobile robot technology for their testbed platforms. Thus, the main motivation of this paper is to review various robot-based MANET testbeds that have been developed in previously reported research. Additionally, suggestions to heighten mobility mechanisms by using mobile robots to be more practical, easy and inexpensive are also included in this paper, as we unveils ToMRobot, a low-cost MANET robot created from an ordinary remote control car that is capable of performing a real system MANET testbed with the addition of only a few low-cost electronic components. Despite greatly reduced costs, the ToMRobot does not sacrifice any of the necessary MANET basic structures and will still be easily customizable and upgradeable through the use of open hardware technology like Cubieboard2 and Arduino, as its robot controller. This paper will also include guidelines to enable technically limited MANET researchers to design and develop the ToMRobot. It is hoped that this paper achieves its two pronged objectives namely (i) to facilitate other MANET researchers by providing them with a source of reference that eases their decision making for selecting the best and most suitable MANET mobile robots for real mobility in their MANET testbeds (ii) to provide MANET researchers with a prospect of building their own MANET robots that can be applied in their own MANET testbed in the future
