    Effects of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Learning Model Assisted by Spinning Wheel Media on Students’ Learning Outcomes in Atomic Structure

    Atomic structure material is abstract and requires a strong conceptual understanding, so innovative learning models and media that actively engage students are needed. This study seeks to investigate the impact of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, supported by spinning wheel media, on the learning outcomes of Grade X high school students in atomic structure. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class X1 as the control class and X7 as the experimental class, each comprising 27 students. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques with SPSS. Analysis using the Mann–Whitney U test indicated a significance level of 0.046 (p < 0.05), confirming that the learning outcomes differed significantly between the experimental and control groups. Students in the experimental class, where the TGT model supported by spinning wheel media was applied, achieved higher learning outcomes compared to those in the control class using traditional teaching methods. Therefore, it can be determined that the Teams Games Tournament learning model supported by spinning wheel media results in a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes in atomic structure and can serve as an innovative alternative in high school chemistry learning

    Epistemic Agency as a Mediator in Dual-Path Learning: Insights from Indonesian Chemistry Classrooms

    This study investigates the mediating role of epistemic agency in the relationship between students’ perceptions of constructivist learning environments and their conceptual understanding in Indonesian chemistry classrooms. A sequential explanatory mixed-methods design was employed, integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches. In the quantitative phase, data were collected from 712 high school students across five schools using an adapted Constructivist Learning Environment Survey (CLES) and a three-tier diagnostic chemistry test. Rasch modeling confirmed the strong psychometric properties of the adapted CLES, while structural equation modeling (SEM) revealed that epistemic agency significantly mediated the relationship between classroom environment perceptions and conceptual understanding. In the qualitative phase, thematic analysis of interviews with 12 selected students uncovered three dominant themes contributing to misconceptions: limited dialogic space, lack of contextualization, and teacher-dominated instruction. The integration of both data strands demonstrates that epistemic agency is not only influenced by pedagogical practices but also shaped by cultural norms. These findings extend the dual-path learning framework by embedding agency as a key mechanism for conceptual change. Pedagogically, the results underscore the need for dialogic, student-centered learning environments that promote active participation and reduce misconceptions. Policy-wise, the findings align with the OECD Learning Compass 2030 and Indonesia’s Merdeka Belajar curriculum, emphasizing the importance of agency-oriented strategies in achieving global education standards

    Indonesia's marine biological diversity is exceptionally rich, encompassing all existing phyla. Among them, the class Gastropoda represents the largest group within the Phylum Mollusca. Organisms inhabiting hard substrates in intertidal zones exhibit remarkable adaptability to dynamic conditions. Gastropods, in particular, demonstrate a high capacity for adaptation, enabling their survival across various habitats. The level of gastropod species diversity in a given aquatic environment is influenced by several factors, including physical environmental conditions. This study investigates the impact of environmental parameters on the evenness and dominance of gastropods, as well as the effects of environmental changes on these community characteristics. Sampling was conducted at three stations along the coastal area of Bone Bolango Regency. An observational procedure employing a census method was used for sample collection, and purposive sampling determined the sampling points based on specific criteria. Gastropod specimens were collected using a hand-picking technique within a 150 m² transect area, observing the entire station's hard substrate. Water quality data were subsequently analyzed using a pollution index. A total of 422 gastropod individuals were recorded across all stations, representing eight families: Conidae, Cypraeidae, Muricidae, Turbinidae, Neritidae, Strombidae, Tegulidae, and Turbinellidae. Nineteen species were identified from the three research locations. The diversity indices calculated for the three locations are as follows: The Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H′) showed values less than four, indicating moderate diversity. The Simpson's dominance index (D) had values close to one, suggesting a high level of dominance. The Pielou's evenness index (J′) approached one, indicating high evenness within the gastropod community

    Hambatan prosedural dalam proses klaim BPJS Kesehatan, seperti kompleksitas verifikasi dokumen, ketidakterpaduan sistem informasi, serta tingginya klaim tertunda dan keterlambatan pembayaran, masih menjadi tantangan yang berdampak pada kinerja fasilitas kesehatan. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada perumusan strategi adaptasi operasional alur klaim Jamsostek sebagai model implementasi yang aplikatif bagi BPJS Kesehatan, bukan sekadar perbandingan sistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan strategi adaptasi alur klaim Jamsostek sebagai upaya peningkatan efisiensi proses klaim BPJS Kesehatan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap informan dari BPJS Kesehatan, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, dan rumah sakit mitra, disertai observasi dan telaah dokumen kebijakan serta prosedur klaim. Keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi metode, sumber, dan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan digitalisasi verifikasi sejak awal kasus, penguatan Service Level Agreement (SLA) pada setiap tahapan klaim, sistem notifikasi otomatis antar pemangku kepentingan, serta monitoring berbasis dashboard secara real time berpotensi mempercepat proses verifikasi, mengurangi revisi dokumen berulang, menekan klaim tertunda, dan meningkatkan kepastian pembayaran

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa antara penggunaan media audio-visual dan media non-audio-visual dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK). Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari kebutuhan optimalisasi media pembelajaran sejalan dengan program digitalisasi pendidikan yang mendorong pemanfaatan perangkat teknologi seperti Smart TV dan Interactive Flat Panel. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto, dilaksanakan di SDN 4 Gununglipung dengan populasi seluruh siswa berjumlah 342 orang. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 27 siswa yang belajar menggunakan media audio-visual dan 27 siswa yang menggunakan media non-audio-visual. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket motivasi belajar dengan 21 butir pernyataan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji t melalui SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa pada kelompok audio-visual berada pada kategori lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok non-audio-visual, dan uji t mengonfirmasi adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan media audio-visual mampu memberikan stimulasi lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan perhatian, minat, ketekunan, dan dorongan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PJOK. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi pendidik dan pemangku kebijakan untuk lebih mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran di sekolah

    Application of the Laguerre Perturbed Galerkin Analysis Method for Solving Higher-Order Integro-Differential Equations

    This study presents the development and implementation of a novel numerical method, the Laguerre Perturbed Galerkin (LPG) method, for solving higher-order integro-differential equations. The method leverages the advantages of Laguerre polynomials as basis functions while incorporating Chebyshev polynomials as perturbation terms to enhance both accuracy and efficiency. In the LPG method, the solution is approximated using Laguerre polynomials of degree N, with the residual error minimized via the Galerkin approach. Chebyshev polynomials are introduced as perturbation terms to further refine the solution. The residual is systematically reduced to a system of (N + 1) equations, which is then solved to determine the unknown coefficients of the approximating Laguerre polynomials. Comparative analyses demonstrate that the LPG method achieves superior accuracy and faster convergence rates compared to existing techniques, particularly for higher-order integro-differential equations. The findings contribute to the advancement of numerical methods in this domain, providing a powerful computational tool for scientists and engineers

    Geochemical Characteristics of Basalt in the Northern Taopa Area, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi

    This study analyzes the geochemical characteristics of basaltic rocks in the Northern Taopa (Taopa Utara) area, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi, to constrain magma affinity, magmatic series, and tectonomagmatic setting. Although Central Sulawesi records complex arc–oceanic interaction, the major-element geochemistry of basalts from Northern Taopa has remained poorly documented. Petrographic observations and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) major-oxide analyses were conducted on four representative samples (ST10, ST19, ST24, and ST36). Petrographic analysis shows that all samples have a hypocrystalline–porphyritic texture with plagioclase, clinopyroxene, olivine, and opaque minerals set in a microlitic groundmass. Major-oxide compositions are characterized by SiO2 48.85–50.65 wt% and total Fe2O3 12.89–13.11 wt%, consistent with mafic basalt. On the total alkali–silica diagram the samples plot in the basalt field and display low total alkalis (Na2O+K2O 1.11–2.11 wt%) and very low K2O (0.039–0.051 wt%), indicating a low-K subalkaline affinity. AFM relations show relative Fe enrichment and place the samples within the tholeiitic series. Tectonic discrimination using TiO2–P2O5–MnO (TiO2 0.98–1.06 wt%; P2O5 0.405–0.427 wt%; MnO 0.208–0.276 wt%) suggests an ocean-island tholeiite (OIT) signature. The low-K tholeiitic, OIT-like character implies an intraplate oceanic mantle source contribution to basalt generation and provides quantitative constraints for refining regional tectonic reconstructions of Central Sulawesi during emplacement of the Taopa volcanic unit

    Pengaruh Tax Minimization, Debt Covenant dan Tunneling Incentive Terhadap Transfer Pricing Pada Perusahaan Pertambangan Yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2020-2024

    The research aims to assess how tax minimization, debt covenant, and tunnelling incentives affect transfer pricing. The independent variables assessed were tax minimization, debt covenant, and tunnelling incentive, while transfer pricing functioned as dependent variables. This study examined a total of 81 companies, with samples selected using purposive sampling techniques. In the end, forty-four mining companies listed between 2020 - 2024 on the IDX became a sample. A quantitative approach was used, relying on secondary data, with data analysis applied through multiple linear regression utilizing  SPSS software. The results demonstrate that whereas tunnelling incentives have a negative impact on transfer pricing, tax minimization has a favorable effect, and debt covenants have no influence at all. These results provide important new information about the variables influencing transfer pricing strategies in the mining industry

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Perbandingan Kinerja Keuangan Menggunakan Rasio Keuangan dan Metode Dupont Pada Perusahaan Sektor Teknologi Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2022-2024. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan sektor teknologi dari situs resmi yang diterbitkan oleh Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor teknologi dan hanya mengambil 11 perusahaan. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara Purpose Sampiling. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif karena data yang diperoleh berupa angka. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu dengan menguumpulkan, mengolah dan menginterpretasikan data yang diperoleh dari Analisis Rasio Keuangan dan Metode Dupont sebagai indikator pengukuran kinerja keuangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keuangan yang ditinjau dari Rasio Keuangan memperlihatkan kinerja yang kurang baik selama periode 2022-2024. Dilihat dari Rasio Likuditas yang diukur dengan Current Ratio dan Cash Ratio dinilai kurang baik sebab mengalami tren penurunan, serta Rasio Aktivitas yang diukur dengan Fix Asset Turnover menunjukan kinerja yang cukup baik berbeda dengan Receible Turnover yang mengalami tren penurunan sehingga dinilai kurang baik, dan juga dilihat dari Rasio Solvabilitas yang diukur dengan Debt To Equity Ratio dan Times Interest Earned juga dinilai kurang baik. Hal sama jika di tinjau dari Metode Dupont yang dilihat dari Rasio Return On Equity (ROE) menunjukan kinerja yang juga kurang baik. Yang juga terlihat pada Total Aset Turover, Net Profi Margin dan Equity Multiplier

    Metaphor Use in ABBA Song Lyrics

    This study analyzes conceptual metaphors in two ABBA songs, namely “Slipping Through My Fingers” and “The Winner Takes It All.” The analysis applies Lakoff and Johnson’s (1980) theory, which classifies metaphors into three types: structural, ontological, and orientational metaphors. The data consist of 17 metaphorical expressions collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method. The results show that “Slipping Through My Fingers” is dominated by ontological metaphors that conceptualize time, memory, and emotions as physical entities that can be held, stored, or lost. Meanwhile, “The Winner Takes It All” is dominated by structural metaphors that represent romantic relationships as a competitive game involving winning, losing, and rules. These findings demonstrate that metaphors in both songs strengthen emotional expression and transform abstract experiences into concrete and perceptible imager
