    Advanced standard operating procedures for survey of buildings and structures of metallurgical production

    This article presents modern methods for determination of the depth of various types of foundations at the metallurgical industry facilities. It was decided to use modern geophysical research methods, such as seismic exploration methods in order to solve the tasks for determination of depth of pile foundations and deep foundations under conditions of operating production metallurgical site. Geometric parameters of foundations can be measured using engineering seismic equipment, and three-component measurement data shall be processed by means of specific processing flow. The use of coherency procedures makes it possible to separate the dedicated phases of reflection from the foundation bottom in the wave pattern. Reproducibility of results of foundation bottom laying depth with actual depth was checked using engineering seismic recording systems by uncovering of foundation check pit-holes at the blast furnace complex facilities No. 7 of JSC EVRAZ NTMK. The measurement accuracy of pile foundations and spread foundations equal to 0.5 meters was achieved by means of seismic techniques as a result of the measurements conducted at the metallurgical production facilities.     Formation of Consumption Properties of Sweet Pepper (Capsicum Annuum L.) Sauce

    The aim of the study is to form consumption properties of a green sweet pepper sauce with a balanced content of macro- and microelements. Due to the use of Xanthium strumarium and chitosan a new product has high organoleptic properties that attract a consumer and increase its competitiveness at the market.Sweet green pepper that relates to most valuable vegetable cultures as to food value and taste was chosen as a main component of a sauce. For giving it a necessary consistence and for decreasing a time of thermal processing, there was used chitosan. According to results of the conducted studies, it was established, that among studied types of chitosan, advantages as to forming a consistence belongs to food acid-soluble chitosan with particle sizes up to 0,5 mm in amount 0,5 %.For preserving the natural green color, pepper fruits were preliminarily processed in 1 % decoction of Xanthium strumarium at temperature 75ΒΊΠ‘ during 15 min. For increasing its food value, the recipe was added with spicy-aromatic vegetable raw materials: garlic, dill, parsley, celery.The sauce quality was formed by mathematical modeling using general criteria of optimization of organoleptic parameters. There were also determined specific criteria of optimization of the recipe composition taking into account their daily need. As a result of the conducted studies the composition of recipe components for the sauce was optimized: sweet pepper 80 %, garlic leaves – 5 %, parsley leaves,dill – 5 %, celery leaves – 5 %, salt – 1,5 %, sugar – 0,5 %, chitosan – 0,5 %.There were studied organoleptic parameters of the developed sauce, characterized by a pleasant bright-green color, homogenous paste-like consistence, pleasant taste and smell. The used stabilizing factors allowed to get the sauce with the increased content of essential factors of nutrition. They participate in the increase of protective forces of the organism, so allow to recommend them in prophylactic, child and dietary nutrition

    Proliferative activity in ovarian endometrrioma

    Endometriosis shows features similar to neoplasia, which recently increased interest in the monoclonal antigen Ki-67. The aim of the study was to study the expression of Ki-67 in the operated ovarian endometriomas in women of reproductive age. Materials of the study were 32 patients with ovarian endometriomas and 30 patients with tubal infertility in the control group who underwent surgical treatment. Immunohistochemical study was performed by avidin-biotin-peroxidase method according to the standard method. Evaluated the number of positively colored cells using rabbit monoclonal antibodies to Ki-67. In 68.75% of patients with operated endometriomas, active proliferation in ovarian formations is observed, which is manifested by increased expression of oncoprotein Ki-67 in the glandular epithelium, in the cytogenic stroma of the endometrium and in surrounding vessels. There is a direct correlation between the level of Ki-67 expression and the prevalence of the endometriomas

    Over a period of 2007-2011 188 stomach cancer (SC) patients have been included in the research in abdominal oncosurgical department of Odessa regional oncological dispensary. It was retrospective, one-center, nonrandomized research. Volume of lymph node dissections differed by quantity of lymph nodes to be removed. All patients were divided into three groups. Patients with D1 or D1+ lymph node dissections have been performed, totally 90 patients are included in group of historical control. The main group includes 33 patients to whom D3 lymph node dissections is executed and, finally, control group – 65 patients dissected up to the D2 volume. In all cases so-called lymph node dissections for principal reasons have been executed. The multifactorial analysis of patients survival is implemented depending on a type of a lymph node dissections, a stage of the cancer, number of involved lymph nodes, involvement of the tumoral microcirculatory net (ly is carried out, v) signs of a perinevral invasion (Nev), availability of residual tumoral tissue (R), degree of a differentiation (G). Regardless of a disease stage, SC at 60% of patients, represented with initially hematologicaly disseminated disease. 40% of SC`s had no signs of intratumoral microcirculatory net involvement even in case of more than 15 regional lymph nodes are involved. In the absence of a SC perinevral invasion appeared to be the most precise predictive marker. The conclusion is made some brand new additional53 prognostic factors could play a crucial role in more accurate patients selection for expanded lymph node dissections

    Novel data according Will Roger`s phenomenon in stomach cancer patients

    Mostly Will Roger`s phenomenon means existence of so-called "jumping" or "jumping over the stages" regional metastases in the stomach cancer patients. N1 in the 6th edition means 16 regional lymph nodes involvement, while the N1 seventh edition – only 1-2 of regional lymph nodes involvement. This means that T1N1Mo \ 6th and T1N1Mo \ 7th - not quite the same, and the survival of the two groups will be different. The study, made on the abdominal oncosurgical department of Odessa Regional Oncology Center, included 188 patients operated for gastric cancer in the period 2007-2011. The study included only radically treated patients. Comparison of survival in patients with gastric cancer between 6th revision groups of 7th has been reviewed. The classification mission is to provide differences in the survival rates between the groups. Regression multivariate Cox analysis showed that 7th UICC classification showed different capability of stratifying survival groups of UICC N classification (P \ 0.01)
