    A Importância dos Estilos de Formatação de Trabalhos Acadêmicos: uma revisão de literatura

    ntroduction: Scientific research aims to generate new knowledge, to contribute to the various segments of society and provide a better quality of life for the population, using specific methods and techniques for this purpose. For the dissemination of this knowledge to occur ethically and effectively, the researcher must be aware of some important aspects, such as scientific writing, which includes bibliographic references and standardization of scientific papers. Objective: To describe the main characteristics of the formatting styles of scientific works: ABNT, APA, Chicago, MLA, Vancouver. Material and Method: A bibliographic review was carried out in the Scientific Electronic Library (SCIELO), Virtual Health Library Brazil (BVS) and Google Scholar databases. Literature Review: Standardizations are important, as they contribute to the standardization and structuring of inputs for technological and scientific development, effectively and with quality. Final Considerations: It is expected that the compiled content will guide the reader/researcher as to the applicability of the technical norms for standardization of the styles of standardization of scientific papers commonly recommended by national and international journals to reach and disseminate the knowledge produced.Introdução: A pesquisa científica tem por objetivo gerar novos conhecimentos, de forma a contribuir com os diversos segmentos da sociedade e proporcionar melhor qualidade de vida para a população, utilizando de métodos e técnicas específicas para esta finalidade. Para que a disseminação destes conhecimentos ocorra de forma ética e eficaz, o pesquisador deve estar atento a alguns aspectos importantes, como a redação científica, a qual inclui as referências bibliográficas e a normatização dos trabalhos científicos. Objetivo: Descrever as principais características dos estilos de formatação de trabalhos científicos: ABNT, APA, Chicago, MLA e Vancouver. Material e Método: Foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica no banco de dados Scientific Electronic Library (SCIELO), Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde Brasil (BVS) e Google Acadêmico. Revisão de Literatura: As normatizações são importantes, pois contribuem com a padronização e estruturação dos insumos do desenvolvimento tecnológico e científico, de forma eficaz e com qualidade. Considerações Finais: Espera-se que o conteúdo compilado oriente o leitor/pesquisador quanto a aplicabilidade das normas técnicas de normalização dos estilos de padronização de trabalhos científicos comumente recomendados por periódicos nacionais e internacionais com o intuito de ter um alcance e disseminar o conhecimento produzido

    O cuidado ao hipertenso no município de Juiz de Fora/MG: uma análise comparativa em Unidade Básica de Saúde

    This article examines the production of care for hypertensive patients in two Units of Health Primary Care in the city of Juiz de Fora - one operates with the traditional model, and the other with the Family Health Program, which allowed a discussion of the two models of health care working in the city. The instrument used to collect data was the “Descriptor Flow Chart”, which allows a graphical representation of the processing of the work focused on paths traveled by users. Its implementation has occurred through meetings with the teams of UBS, which can collectively describe the production of care for hypertensive patients in the units. This analysis showed a persistent difficulty in organizing the work focused on the user and in teamwork, in promoting the building of ties with users, and in the establishment of spaces that prioritize the process of health education, both in individual level and as group.Este artigo analisa a produção do cuidado ao hipertenso em duas Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS) do município de Juiz de Fora. Uma delas opera com o modelo tradicional e a outra com o Programa de Saúde da Família, o que possibilitou uma reflexão sobre os dois modelos de assistência à saúde operantes no município. O instrumento utilizado para a coleta de dados foi o “Fluxograma Descritor”, que permite uma representação gráfica do processamento do trabalho centrado nos caminhos percorridos pelos usuários. A sua aplicação ocorreu por meio de reuniões com as equipes das UBS’s, sendo possível descrever coletivamente a produção do cuidado ao hipertenso nas Unidades. Através da análise, percebeu-se que persiste uma dificuldade na organização do processo de trabalho centrado no usuário e no trabalho em equipe, no fomento à construção de vínculos com os usuários e no estabelecimento de espaços que primem pelo processo de educação em saúde tanto em nível individual quanto grupal

    Design, synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of N-benzyl-piperidinyl-aryl-acylhydrazone derivatives as donepezil hybrids: Discovery of novel multi-target anti-alzheimer prototype drug candidates

    A new series of sixteen multifunctional N-benzyl-piperidine-aryl-acylhydrazones hybrid derivatives was synthesized and evaluated for multi-target activities related to Alzheimer's disease (AD). The molecular hybridization approach was based on the combination, in a single molecule, of the pharmacophoric N-benzyl-piperidine subunit of donepezil, the substituted hydroxy-piperidine fragment of the AChE inhibitor LASSBio-767, and an acylhydrazone linker, a privileged structure present in a number of synthetic aryl- and aryl-acylhydrazone derivatives with significant AChE and anti-inflammatory activities. Among them, compounds 4c, 4d, 4g and 4j presented the best AChE inhibitory activities, but only compounds 4c and 4g exhibited concurrent anti-inflammatory activity in vitro and in vivo, against amyloid beta oligomer (A\uce\ub2O) induced neuroinflammation. Compound 4c also showed the best in vitro and in vivo neuroprotective effects against A\uce\ub2O-induced neurodegeneration. In addition, compound 4c showed a similar binding mode to donepezil in both acetylated and free forms of AChE enzyme in molecular docking studies and did not show relevant toxic effects on in vitro and in vivo assays, with good predicted ADME parameters in silico. Overall, all these results highlighted compound 4c as a promising and innovative multi-target drug prototype candidate for AD treatment

    Neotropical freshwater fisheries : A dataset of occurrence and abundance of freshwater fishes in the Neotropics

    The Neotropical region hosts 4225 freshwater fish species, ranking first among the world's most diverse regions for freshwater fishes. Our NEOTROPICAL FRESHWATER FISHES data set is the first to produce a large-scale Neotropical freshwater fish inventory, covering the entire Neotropical region from Mexico and the Caribbean in the north to the southern limits in Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, and Uruguay. We compiled 185,787 distribution records, with unique georeferenced coordinates, for the 4225 species, represented by occurrence and abundance data. The number of species for the most numerous orders are as follows: Characiformes (1289), Siluriformes (1384), Cichliformes (354), Cyprinodontiformes (245), and Gymnotiformes (135). The most recorded species was the characid Astyanax fasciatus (4696 records). We registered 116,802 distribution records for native species, compared to 1802 distribution records for nonnative species. The main aim of the NEOTROPICAL FRESHWATER FISHES data set was to make these occurrence and abundance data accessible for international researchers to develop ecological and macroecological studies, from local to regional scales, with focal fish species, families, or orders. We anticipate that the NEOTROPICAL FRESHWATER FISHES data set will be valuable for studies on a wide range of ecological processes, such as trophic cascades, fishery pressure, the effects of habitat loss and fragmentation, and the impacts of species invasion and climate change.
