Lazer e cultura em Goiânia

Extrato de relatório.Este projeto pretende identificar os equipamentos de lazer ligados aos interesses artísticos e culturais da cidade de Goiânia, nomeadamente os museus, centros culturais, teatros, bibliotecas, cinemas e também os parques ecológicos. Nesse sentido, nosso objetivo então será o de analisar o modo de distribuição geográfica desses equipamentos no interior da cidade de Goiânia, inferindo sobre as possíveis co-relações entre suas respectivas localizações e outros aspectos sócio-econômicos, como a densidade populacional, o IDH e a renda per capita dos bairros em que se inserem. Em outras palavras, pretende-se saber quantos equipamentos dessa natureza existem em Goiânia, em que parte da cidade estão localizados e quais os padrões de distribuição. Também será alvo de análise suas formas de gestão, suas fontes financiadoras, seus regimes jurídicos, a programação que oferecem, a forma de contratação e treinamento de recursos humanos, o perfil geral dos freqüentadores, entre outras questões.Rede CEDES / M

PINGUE-PONGUE EN MONGOLIA: DEPORTE, IMPERIALISMO Y RESISTENCIA CULTURAL EN LA ASIA ORIENTAL

O filme Pingue-Pongue na Mongólia, dirigido pelo cineasta chinês Ning-Hao, conta a história de uma criança que se depara com um universo cultural desconhecido ao encontrar uma bola de pingue-pongue. No contexto desse enredo, a difusão de esportes representa os dramas de uma sociedade que vive conflitos e ambigüidades decorrentes de amplas e rápidas transformações modernizadoras. A partir daí, este trabalho discute os sentidos e os efeitos da difusão global de esportes em sociedades cujos estilos de vida seriam supostamente alheios e antitéticos aos valores ocidentais modernos, tal como a Mongólia, que nos serve aqui de exemplo para uma reflexão sobre as dinâmicas de imperialismo e resistência cultural através do esporte.Mongolian Ping Pong is a movie, made by Ning Hao, a Chinese cinemaker, that tell the history of a kid that found a new order cultural after he founds a ping pong’s ball. In this tall, the widespread of sports portray a society that live contests and ambiguities coming from bready and fast social transformations. So this work talks about the means and the effects of the widespread of sport in societies whose ways of life are different of the market economy and other modern western capitalist value, such as Mongolian. This case is used to think about imperialism and cultural resistance although sportLa película “Mongolian Ping Pong”, dirigida por el cineasta chino Ning Hao, cuenta la historia de un niño que se enfrenta a un nuevo mundo cultural después que él encontró una pelota de ping pong. En esta trama, la difusión del deporte representa una sociedad que vive los conflictos y ambigüedades que surgen de los amplios y rápidos cambios de la modernización. A partir de entonces, se discuten aquí los sentidos y los efectos de la propagación mundial del deporte en las sociedades cuyos estilos de vida son supuestamente distintos de los valores de la modernidad occidental, tales como Mongolia. História do esporte no sertão brasileiro: memória, poder e esquecimento

La historiografía brasileña del deporte ha crecido considerablemente en los últimos años. En este proceso, llama atención la ausencia casi completa de estudios sistemáticos sobre la historia del deporte en algunas regiones del país, que es conocido por ser de dimensiones continentales. Tenga en cuenta, particularmente, la ausencia de trabajos acerca de un territorio amplio y geográficamente impreciso llamado “sertão” o “hinterland”. A partir del estudio de la historia del deporte en Goiás, este trabajo reflexiona sobre los efectos de esta brecha teórica e historiográfica.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Brazilian historiography of the sport has grown considerably in recent years. In this process, calls attention the almost complete absence of any systematic reflections about the sport history of some regions of the country, which is known to be of continental dimensions. Note, particularly, the absence of works regarding of a broad and geographically inaccurate territory called “sertão” or hinterland. From the study of the history of sport in Goiás, this paper reflects about the effects this theoretical and historiographical gap.A historiografia brasileira do esporte tem crescido bastante nos últimos anos. Nesse processo, chama atenção a ausência quase absoluta de quaisquer reflexões sistemáticas sobre a história do esporte em determinadas regiões do país, que tem, sabidamente, dimensões continentais. Nota-se, particularmente, a ausência de trabalhos sobre um amplo e geograficamente impreciso território chamado sertão ou hinterland. A partir do estudo da história do esporte em Goiás, este trabalho, então, reflete sobre os efeitos teóricos e historiográficos dessa lacuna

Momentos iniciais da educação física em Goiás (1917-1929)

This article analyze the early periods of institutional organization of the physical education in schools at Goiás, using laws, newspapers, photographs, books of memories, and official reports as resources. Developing a regional history approach, the work states that the years between 1917 and 1929 was very important for starting this process. More specifically, a combination of civil and military, national and regional interests, from inner and outside of Goiás, was the main responsible for this process of social building of physical education in the region.Este artigo analisa os momentos iniciais da organização institucional da educação física em escolas de Goiás, valendo-se de legislações, jornais, fotografias, livros de memórias e documentos oficiais como fontes. Desenvolvendo uma abordagem da história regional, o trabalho argumenta que o período entre 1917 e 1929 foi crucial para o início desse processo. Mais especificamente, uma combinação de interesses civis e militares, nacionais e regionais, de dentro e de fora de Goiás, parece ter sido o principal responsável por esse processo de construção social da educação física na região

CORRIDA DE RUA NO PAÍS DO FUTEBOL

Resumo: Na década de 1970 se iniciou a construção histórica da corrida de rua no Brasil, com os sentidos, formatos e proporções atuais. Embora vários fatores tenham concorrido simultaneamente para a situação, o nome e as ideias de Kenneth Cooper ficariam fortemente associados à memória social da difusão deste hábito no Brasil. O objetivo deste artigo é reconstituir e analisar essa história. Ao invés de confinar as explicações sobre este processo às ações de um único homem, o propósito geral é o de inseri-lo no contexto social e cultural mais geral da época. Transformações na estrutura ocupacional, novas percepções desencadeadas pela rápida urbanização, políticas governamentais para o incentivo de práticas esportivas, oportunidades oferecidas para divulgação de novos métodos de treinamento físico pela cobertura jornalística do futebol brasileiro e novos paradigmas médicos, podem ser apontadas como causas sociais e culturais mais gerais desse processo histórico.  Palavras-chave: História; Esporte; Atletismo; Corrida de Rua; Brasil. Jogging in the Country of Football Abstract: In the 1970s began the historical construction of the jogging in Brazil, with the senses, shapes and current proportions. Although several factors have contributed to the situation, the name and ideas of the Kenneth Cooper would be strongly associated with social memory of the spread of this habit in Brazil. The purpose of this article is to analyze this history. Instead of confining the explanations of this process to the actions and ideas of Cooper, the general purpose is to insert it into the social and cultural context more general of the Age. Changes in the occupational structure, new perceptions triggered by rapid urbanization, government policies for sports, opportunities for dissemination of new methods of physical training for media coverage of Brazilian football team, and new medical paradigms, can be identified as more general social and cultural causes of this historical process.Keywords: History. VACA LONGA: REPENSANDO A HISTORIOGRAFIA BRASILEIRA DO ESPORTE A PARTIR DO SURFE NA BAHIA

Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho é analizar o filme "Vaca Longa, 40 anos de surfe na Bahia". A versão para o desenvolvimento histórico do surfe na Bahia representada por esse filme é encarda aqui como uma oportunidade para se pensar, sob o ponto de vista teórico, as relações entre diferentes regiões do Brasil no desenvolvimento histórico do esporte. HISTÓRIA E HISTORIOGRAFIA DO LAZER

Resumo: Dentre os assuntos abordados pelos estudos do lazer, a história deste fenômeno está certamente entre as mais negligenciadas. Além do número reduzido de trabalhos sobre o assunto, há também uma certa precariedade empírica nos resultados apresentados. Todavia, pesquisas sobre a emergência e desenvolvimento histórico do lazer talvez seja uma necessidade para saltos qualitativos na compreensão desse assunto. Nesse contexto, o objetivo desse artigo é revisar a historiografia do lazer, destacando os principais aspectos do processo de constituição histórica deste fenômeno, identificando as teses centrais predominantes nesse ramo de estudos, apontando algumas possibilidades interpretativas alternativas, além de tentar extrair algumas implicações teóricas possíveis disso tudo.Palavras-Chave: História; Historiografia; Lazer.History and Historiography of LeisureAbstract: Among the main issues studied by the leisure studies, them history is one of the most neglected. Besides the few researches about it, there is also some empirical precariousness in them conclusions. However, researches about the historical developing and historical rising up of leisure may be a necessity to qualitative jumps for a better understanding of the subject. Thus, the aim of this article is to review the leisure's historiography, stressing the main aspects of the historical developing of this subject, identifying the central theses in these researches, identifying some alternative interpretations and trying to extract some theoretical implications.Keywords: History; Historiography; Leisure.Historia y historiografía del ocioResumen: Entre los asuntos abordados por los estudios del ocio, la historia de este fenómeno está ciertamente entre los más descuidos. Sin embargo, investigaciones sobre la emergencia y el desarrollo histórico del ocio tal vez sea una necesidad de saltos cualitativos en la comprensión de este tema. An Empirical Mode Decomposition Approach for Multiple Broken Rotor Bars Detection in Three-Phase Induction Motors at No-Load Condition

This paper presents an empirical mode decomposition (EMD) approach for multiple broken rotor bars detection in squirrel cage induction motors running at no-load condition, using the resultant magnetic flux density measured by a Hall Effect sensor installed between two stator slots of the electrical machine. Usually, the traditional motor current signature analysis (MCSA) has produced many cases of false indications related to, among other reasons, incorrect speed estimation, operation at low load (low slip) and nonadjacent broken bars. This study has investigated the application of the EMD technique in the signal collected from the Hall sensor, in order to detect broken rotor bars for an induction motor running at very low slip and subjected to adjacent and nonadjacent broken bars. The present approach has been validated from some experiments carried out by a 7.5 kW induction motor fed by a sinusoidal power supply in the laboratory
