    On the Question of Decomposition of Multi-Timescale Systems Dynamic Model

    The problem of decomposition of a multi-timescale systems dynamic model is considered in this paper. The specific feature of these systems is the simultaneous presence of processes with essentially different speeds of free components of motions. The description model is represented by a singularly perturbed system of differential equations. The conditions are examined that allow reduction of the order of the system model: the checking of these conditions causes the greatest difficulty in practice. Research results are given as an iterative procedure requiring no special knowledge of singularly perturbed systems of differential equations

    La investigación titulada Logística inversa y Gestión de almacén de bidones para aguas San Luis en Corporación Lindley S.A., Zarate, 2018, empresa dedicada a la elaboración de bebidas no alcohólicas. El objetivo principal de la presente investigación fue determinar la relación entre la logística inversa y gestión de almacenes de bidones para agua San Luis de 20 lts. en Corporación Lindley S.A. la muestra estuvo constituida por 30 colaboradores de la empresa a quienes se aplicó una encuesta para medir las variables de estudio: logística inversa y sus dimensiones de evaluación, proceso y control, así como la variable de gestión de almacenes y sus dimensiones planeación, organización y control. Los resultados dejan ver que entre la variable logística inversa y la variable gestión de almacenes existe una moderada correlación de 0.564 y una significancia de 0,001, se halló que entre la logística inversa y la planeación de gestión de almacenes existe una moderada correlación de 0,564 y una significancia 0,001, de igual forma se halló que entre logística inversa y organización de gestión de almacenes existe una moderada correlación de 0,463 y una significancia de 0.010, también se halló que entre logística inversa y el control de gestión de almacenes existe una moderada correlación de 0.422 y una significancia de 0,020. Por lo que se recomienda implementar mejoras de la investigación logística inversa y gestión de almacén de bidones para agua San Luis en Corporación Lindley S.A. Zarate, 2018. Permitiendo realizar una buena clasificación y un buen almacenamiento de los bidones en lo centro de distribución y poder cumplir con los requerimientos de la planta de producción con mayor eficiencia

    PATRIOTISM AS A CULTURAL UNIVERSAL

    Purpose of the study: The purpose of the article is to introduce the concept of patriotism into scientific circulation as a cultural universal as an alternative to the predominant politicization of this concept. The interpretation of this topic in various socio-political contexts presents a lot of discrepancies and contradictory characteristics associated with the ideological and political preferences of researchers. Methodology: The research methodology is based on a situational and interactive approach to the study of socio-cultural processes and phenomena that are present in the study of social systems, as well as in cross-cultural studies and research of intercultural communication. Main Findings: The main results of the study are the identification of the possibilities of an interactive and situational approach in the study of patriotism, the development of a common strategy for the formation of patriotism as a sequence of stages of socialization of an individual, and identification of the decisive influence of spiritual culture on the real social experience of a patriotic orientation. Applications of this study: The results of the study open up prospects for further study of patriotism as a cultural universal, regardless of a particular political regime or national and cultural characteristics of certain countries and peoples. This can significantly expand the concept of patriotism, without linking the latter only to the specifics of its interpretation in a particular society, ethnic group or community, maintaining the necessary balance between communication and interaction in the formation of patriotism. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of the research consists in the use of an interactive and situational approach to the study and formation of patriotism, based on deep socio-anthropological patterns of formation and development of social groups and communities, as well as in the identified stages (situations and levels) of the formation of patriotism in real society, which can be quite stable and productive

    [For the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version)].ABSTRACT Severity and urgency of road safety problem at intersections of highways with railways require not only a sound and long-term control strategy for reducing a number of accidents and a risk of an accident at regulated crossings, but also continuous improvement of technical equipment of control plots by devices intended to prevent possible collision of cars with rail rolling stock. The proposed model of a gateway scheme of a crossing concerns conditions of passage through railway tracks of a motor transport moving with a high intensity (more than 7 thous. vehicles per day). Gateways with barriers and laser sensors-informants are added to standard devices, order of movement is adjusted, causing significant loss of crossing capacity, while safety increases fivefold.     Structure, magnetic and electrical properties of La-Sr manganite doped with cerium and zinc

    Background and Objectives: Doped manganites of La-Sr system exhibiting effects of colossal magnetoresistance, giant magnetostriction, and electrical switching are promising functional materials for various technical applications, in particular for sensor and information devices. However, the influence of characteristics of doping ions, especially those introduced into various sublattices, on the properties of manganites and their frequency dependences has not been sufficiently studied. The aim of this work is to establish the influence of Ce4+(5p6) and Zn2+(3d10) ions, which are donors and acceptors, on crystal lattice parameters of manganites, their magnetization, Curie point, magnetoresistance, and dependences of the resistance on the frequency and amplitude of electric field. Materials and Methods: For the first time, single-phase ceramic La0.625Sr0.35Ce0.025Mn0.975Zn0.025O3 manganite was synthesized. Parameters of crystal structure were determined from powder X-ray diffractograms. Specific magnetization measurements were performed in magnetic field with an induction of 0.56 T. Curie point was determined by the maximum modulus of the derivative of magnetic permeability with respect to temperature. Measurements of the resistance were performed in the frequency range from 100 kHz to 4 MHz at two values of measuring voltage. Dependences of magnetoresistance on the temperature were measured in transverse field with an induction of 0.92 T. Results: The synthesized manganite has a rhombohedral crystal structure. Specific magnetization (91.2 A · m2/kg at 80 K) is higher, and Curie temperature (222 K) is lower than that of the manganite of basic composition La0.65Sr0.35MnO3. A significant width of the temperature range of ferromagnetic–paramagnetic transition (about 45 K) indicates a high inhomogeneity of obtained manganite. At the temperatures exceeding 285 K, manganite exhibits semiconductor properties. The modulus of negative magnetoresistance varies with temperature nonmonotonically and reaches a maximum (18%) at the temperature of 231 K. With an increase in frequency in the range from 100 kHz to 4 MHz, the resistance of manganite decreases with a slowdown of the fall process in the region of 1.5–2 MHz. Conclusion: The results obtained are explained by diamagnetic dilution of octahedral sublattice with zinc ions, formation of Mn2+ ions, increase in spin fluctuations near Curie point, relationship of electronic band structure with magnetic subsystem of manganite, phase stratification and formation of the clusters of different-valence ions, competition and change of charge transfer mechanisms (hopping, tunneling, percolation) depending on temperature and frequency. Established dependencies are important for understanding the mechanisms of the effect of simultaneous introduction of quadrivalent and divalent ions into various sublattices of manganites on their properties, and are also of interest for obtaining manganites with required parameters

    Unusual properties and features of oxygen nonstoichiometry of La-Sr manganites with manganese replacement by a combination of nickel and germanium

    When studying manganites of the system La1-cSrcMn1-x(Ni2+ 0.5Ge4+ 0.5)xO3+γ (x = 0.05; 0.10; 0.15; 0.15 c 0.35), it was experimentally established that after reductive annealing, which leads the oxygen content to the stoichiometric one, unit cell volume (v) of the samples decreases and at c 0.19 it is less than after annealing in oxygen. Based on the analysis of various charge compensation mechanisms using derived dependences of v on the oxygen content and taking into account the changes in magnetic and electrical parameters, it is established that experimental data can be explained only with the allowance for formation of singly charged oxygen ions. The relationships between magnetic parameters of the manganites and their composition, structural characteristics and deviations from oxygen stoichiometry are explained. The possibility of local ferromagnetic ordering of uncompensated spins of Ni2+ ions due to their interaction with singly charged O- anions is considered. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd

    Effects of long storage in La-Sr manganites with pared divalent and quadrivalent substituents for manganese

    The results of investigation on the ageing of ceramic manganites La1-cSrcMn0.90Ni0.05Ge0.05O3+γ and La1-cSrcMn0.90Zn0.05Ti0.05O3+γ (c = 0.15, 0.17, 0.19) during long-term storage at normal conditions are presented. Unit cell volume of all manganites having rhombohedral structure decreased over time. The width of X-ray diffraction reflexes from (Ni,Ge)-compositions varied irregularly within the measurement error, and the width of reflexes from (Zn,Ti)-contained manganites decreased significantly. Magnetization of all samples increased in the end of storage period. Curie point of compositions with c > 0.17 exhibited some trend of increase. Ageing leaded to the lowering of "metal-semiconductor" transition temperature in (Ni,Ge)-substituted manganites. (Zn,Ti)-contained compositions showed only semiconductor behavior in investigated temperature range from 100 to 300 K, and the changes of their magnetic parameters were most considerable. The increase in magnetization and Curie point reached 7.5 % and 11 %, respectively. Possible mechanisms of ageing in considered materials are discussed in terms of oxidation processes, formation of microinhomogeneities and relaxation of internal stresses. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd

    [For the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version)].ABSTRACT In the current provision on the system of track management of JSC Russian Railways, the existing criteria for assignment of main types of repair of the track do not allow making unequivocal decisions on timing of future repairs. The article discusses a methodology and model that helps to justify the time of overhaul in order to actualize the application of the specified criteria and extend the period of operation of the track in the zone of track sections where tonnage of transported goods has exceeded the standard cumulated value, requiring thus maintenece works (called operating time in terms of tonnage). This methodology is based on forecasting of failures of its elements using the developed model.
