    Rate-Privacy in Wireless Sensor Networks

This paper introduces the concept of rate privacy in the context of wireless sensor networks. Our discussion reveals that the concept indeed is of a great importance for the privacy preservation of such networks. As a result, we propose a buffering scheme to protect the rate from adversaries. Simulation results verify the applicability of our approach

This study is aimed to consider the effectiveness of exposure therapy and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) on decrease of symptoms of obsessive - compulsive disorder is. The research method was quasi-experimental and its design was pre-test and post-test with control group. The statistical population of this study was all patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (both male and female) referring to therapy centers of Maragheh city that a sample of 30 subjects was chosen by available sampling method and then they were replaced in experimental (therapy) group and control group randomly and answered to Maudsley Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory (MOCI). The findings indicated that the experimental group's average score in obsessive-compulsive symptoms was 14/46 in pre-test and 7/67 in post-test. As well as, in control group, the mean score of obsessive - compulsive symptoms in pre-test was 14/66 and 11/93 in post-test. Thus, it could be concluded that the reduction of scores in post-test of experimental group was accompanied with the decrease of symptoms of obsessive - compulsive disorder in experimental group

Mineral chemistry and thermobarometry of Soltan Meidan basalts, North of Shahrood

    No full text
Soltan Maidan Basaltic Complex consists of a thick succession of basaltic lavas associated with some thin sedimentary interlayers that are exposed in the northwest to northeast of Shahrood. Soltan Maidan basaltic rocks has been generated from magma with transitional to mildly alkaline nature and derived by 14-20 percent partial melting of an enriched garnet peridotitic mantle source in an intra-continental rift setting during Late Ordovician to early Late Silurian. These basaltic rocks are relatively uniform in mineralogical composition and they have undergone moderate to high degrees of alteration. Labradorite plagioclase and augite clinopyroxene are major minerals, and Fe-Ti oxides as titanomagnetite and ilmenite form accessory minerals in these rocks. Thermobarometry results on the clinopyroxenes indicate that they have crystallized in temperatures between about 1100oC to 1200oC, with pressures less than 6 kbar and show that they have crystallized in magma chamber/chambers located at depths less than 23 kilometers

Synthesis and characterization of NiO nanostructures: a review

    No full text
In the last decade, NiO nanostructures (NSs) have gained a growing attention from the scientific community because they are cheap, facile to produce and isolate, and they could be employed in a plethora of application ranging from photoelectrochemical device to smart window, from catalysis to sensor. Throughout this review, the most widely employed and effective synthetic techniques are summarized and their advantages and drawbacks are highlighted and compared. Almost all these synthetic pathways produce amorphous nanostructures that need to be annealed to obtain crystalline products. The quite high temperature required for this procedure is the main issue that prevents the scalability of these procedures. Throughout this review, a brief description of the main experimental techniques employed to characterize the nanostructures is provided as well. The investigated features of these materials deeply depend on the application the latter are produced for. © 2018, Springer Nature B.V
