Didáctica de la Historia y construcción de la identidad cultural iberoamericana en el currículo y libros de texto de Ciencias Sociales de Educación Primaria españoles

La presente Tesis Doctoral se propone abordar la configuración conceptual de la identidad cultural iberoamericana en la Didáctica de la Historia y en el marco normativo para la consolidación del Espacio Cultural Iberoamericano. Con este propósito, analiza su tratamiento didáctico en los libros de texto de Ciencias Sociales de la Educación Primaria española, y en los currícula de tres países de la Comunidad Iberoamericana de Naciones: España, México y Chile. Para tal fin, se ha empleado una metodología cualitativa que, tras el acotamiento de hipótesis al problema de investigación propuesto y la formulación de los objetivos generales y específicos vinculados, ha permitido proceder al vaciado y registro de datos mediante el diseño de fichas de observación sistemática, elaboradas a partir de la propuesta y verificación de un sistema de categorías. La categorización de los núcleos conceptuales ha resultado determinante para el análisis comparativo curricular de las regulaciones oficiales y en el vaciado de datos de las unidades narrativas, iconográficas y actividades de los textos didácticos seleccionados. De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos, la investigación evidencia la descoordinación internacional española en la conceptualización de la identidad cultural iberoamericana y en su contribución a la consolidación del Espacio Cultural Iberoamericano, con propuestas curriculares de marcado carácter eurocéntrico, articuladas en narrativas históricas e iconográficas y actividades carentes de contenidos culturales iberoamericanos orientados al fomento competencial del pensamiento histórico, crítico y creativo

Tomando como punto de partida el pionero y poco conocido "De liberis educandis libellus" (1509) de Nebrija, en el presente estudio realizamos un recorrido por la Historia de la Familia y de la Educación desde diversos conceptos: la individualidad del niño, su evolución y conquista final en el siglo XVIII, su proceso educativo entorno a roles parentales adquiridos, la preceptiva educativa impuesta desde la moral católica y desde su aval normativo estatal, y la patria potestad. The End-Purpose of Teaching Social Sciences and the Curricular Inclusion of Social Problems

The most recent scientific literature on the treatment of social problems or controversial social questions in the Social Sciences classroom and their inclusion into curricula emphasizes the need to introduce students into large-scale social debates where different points of view exist, different interests are at stake, and where it is desirable that they construct their own opinions in that respect from a critical and reasoned perspective. Work with social problems permits a typology of analysis that includes the relative experience of the past and the expectations for the future in a present that is lived, and to consider the temporal relation on the basis of an analysis of changes and continuities that are observable from a comparative perspective. In the comprehension and interpretation of the historicity of the present and in planning the social future, social problems would have to represent a fundamental curricular tenant that gives relevance to the contemporaneousness of the student
